When I woke up I found myself in Kaine's arms, my head on his chest and our legs tangled together. I realized that he was no longer inside of me. He must've removed himself after I fell asleep so that I would feel anything. I placed soft kisses on his chest happy that he cared about my wellbeing. I felt him move and the next thing I know I find myself under him. I looked into his eyes and I saw that they were shining with happiness. I could also feel it through our bond that he was happy.
Good morning love I heard Kaine's voice in my head and realized he was mind linking me. Mind linking works between Mates and family members. The Alpha can also mind link with the members of his pack. I felt so happy that we completed our bond. Feeling your lips against my skin made me want to take you all over again. I had to control myself. With his statement I felt him against my leg, and I realized he was hard again.
As much as I would love for you to, I'm too sore. He leaned down and kissed me and I could feel that it was starting to get heated. I pushed him back. This time I spoke directly to him. "Let's stop now before we both lose control. Now get off of me so I can use the bathroom." He gave me a quick peck and moved off of me laughing. I didn't bother hiding myself since he saw all of me last night.
When I got out of bed I felt a slap on my ass. I turned around and shot him a glare. I saw him smiling at me like he was innocent. But we both know that he was far from that. I turned back around heading to the bathroom. The whole time I could feel his eyes on me or more precisely on my ass.
I relieved myself and went to stand in the mirror. I looked at myself and I was glowing. I turned my head to the side and I saw the mark on my neck. It had already healed and now there was a small crescent moon with a K and L next to it. Those were Kaine's initials and on his neck would be a similar mark with mine.
I heard Kaine shuffling in the room and then a few minutes later he was behind me. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my mark. I felt so loved with the way he was holding me. "I'm gonna run you a bath so that you can sit in it and relax your muscles." I really like the sound of a relaxing bath. He backed away and I saw him heading to the bathtub. He started to fill the bath up with water and put the soap in the water causing bubbles to appear. When the bath was full he stop the water and then walked over to me.
He leaned down and kissed me. "Do you want me to get with you?" I nodded my head yes. Know that a relaxing bath with him wouldn't be even better than by myself and his bathtub was big enough to fit the both of us. I felt him pick me up in his arms and walk me over to the tub. He placed me in the tub and the water felt so nice against my skin. I felt him climb in behind me and once he sat down I leaned back against his chest.
We sat in silence for a little just enjoying this moment together. Then I felt him lean over to grab something. "Love, lean forward a little so I can wash your hair." He took the shampoo and began to massage my scalp and I enjoyed it so much that a moan slipped past my lips.
"Love if you keep making those lovely sounds I won't hesitate to take you right here in this tub." I had to get myself under control as much as I wanted him to do it but I was still recovering from that night. He continued to wash my hair and when he finished he was the rest of my body. It was hard to control myself when he was touching me so sensually as he cleaned my body. When he was finished I turned to him to do the same for him. But when I went to wash his chest he stopped me.
"I would love to be washed by my beautiful mate but I haven't calmed down and your touches will only make it worse." I was going to ignore him and do it anyway but the look in his eye told me if I touch him he would pin me against the wall and take me hard. So I just nodded my head and waited for him to finish washing himself. When he was done he stepped out of the tub and leaned down to pick me up. He placed me down and took a towel and wrapped it around me. He then unplugged the tub so that the water could drain down and got himself a towel and wrapped it around his waist.
"What are you doing today?" I asked him as he took my hand and walked us out the bathroom. I sat on the bed waiting for his response. He went in the closet to get us some clothes since the only thing I had to wear was the dress from last night. When he walked back out he tossed me a pair of sweats and a shirt. While he had a dark pair of jeans and a shirt for himself. "That's the smallest thing I could find in my closet. I don't like the idea of you walking around with nothing under that but I'm happy to know that I'll be the only one to know that piece of information. And to answer your question we are going to speak to my father."
I looked at the clothes he threw me and saw they would be a little baggy on me but it would have to do until I went home. "Why does your father want to talk to us." I dropped my towel and I started to put the clothes on I realized he was answering me so I turned to see what he was doing. When I looked at him I saw him staring at me and his eyes turned darker. I leaned down and grabbed a pillow off the bed and threw it at his face. When it made contact with him he growled.
"You can admire me all you want later we have things we have to do." I finished dressing and I saw him smirk at me.
"Love I'll admire that sexy body of yours and time I want." I blushed at his words and threw another pillow at him but this time he caught it and tossed it to the side. I glared at him and he laughed at me. He started to put his clothes on. I sighed in relief thinking that he was gonna pounce on me any moment and glad that he didn't. I wanted to know what Alpha Brandon wanted to talk to us about and I didn't have time for him to be distracted by other things.
When he was finished we walked out the room and down the stairs heading to the second floor where the Alphas office was located. The third floor was where the alpha and his family stayed. The second floor had his office and some meeting rooms. The first floor had rooms for pack members as well as the living room dining hall and kitchen.
We got to the office and Kaine knocked on the door waiting for his father to tell us to come in. "Come in" Kaine opened the door and we entered the office. Alpha Brandon was sitting at his desk and he motioned for us to sit in the seats in front of it. "My son welcome I was just about to call for you. Dannielle nice to see you. I hope all is well."
"Yes Alpha everything is fine." He smiled at me.
"Okay that's good to hear you tell me if this one." He pointed to Kaine. "Gives you any troubles." I laughed and I told him that I will let him know. While Kaine just rolled his eyes at his father. "I wanted to speak to the two of you about your future." He looked towards Kaine. "Now that you have found your mate it is time for you to begin the process of being the Alpha to the pack. I would like to step down soon and enjoy the rest of my days peacefully with your mother." My breath hitched. I almost forgot all about becoming Luna now that I am mated to Kaine. He felt my nervousness through the bond and reached over and intertwined our fingers given mine a squeeze for reassurance. I calmed down at his touch.
"Dannielle, my wife has decided she would like to personally train you on the duties of being a Luna. I know you will learn a lot from her." I shook my head ready for the responsibility of taking care of my pack. "When your training is complete we will hold the ceremony to introduce the pack to their new Alpha and Luna. I know you both won't disappoint and I'm proud to hand my title down to you too." I was happy that Alpha Brandon accepted me. I wouldn't have dared to think that this would be my future. I was happy and I wouldn't change how anything happened because it led to me this very moment.
Alpha Brandon got up and came around his desk to hug me. "Welcome to the family Dannielle." I hugged him back.
"Thank you Alpha." With that he dismissed us. We left the office and I grabbed Kaine's hand and intertwined it with mine. We walked down the hallway and I saw that he was leading me down to the first floor. Wondering where he was taking me.
"My mother wanted to see us." He answered my silent question as we headed into the kitchen. I saw Luna Crystal in my mom talking to each other and they had big smiles on their faces. "Mom" Kaine called his mother interrupting their conversation.
"Oh sweetie you're here did you already talk to your father." We walked over to them and sat at the table.
"Yes we just got done talking to him." My stomach grumbled and they all turned to me and laughed. My mother set down eggs, bacon, and some toast in front of us and my mouth started to water. I was so worn out from last night that the hunger took over me. I dug into my plate without a second thought.
"You better watch her Kaine or she will eat the whole kitchen." My mother told Kaine and I ignored her enjoying my food and the fact that my stomach was being satisfied.
"Her appetite is one of the many things I love about her." I heard our mothers tell him how sweet he is but I was the only one that heard the huskiness in his voice when he said it. I felt him place his hand on my thigh and I looked up at him. He looked over at me giving me an innocent look. Even though we both knew he was far from innocent.
"So now that you guys are mated I hope to see some grandbabies soon." I choked on some of my food and I felt Kaine's hand come up and pat my back. I looked up to see my mother agreeing with Luna Crystals statement.
"Um I-" I was cut of by Kaine who decided to answer for us seeing as I was at loss for words.
"As much as I want pups I will wait until Dannielle is ready. We just mated and we have a lot of time to do that." I felt reassured by Kaine's words and I'm happy that he would wait for me to be ready. I wanted pups with him too but he was right we just established our mate bond we could wait a little bit before we had pups.
"I know honey, but remember if you guys mate during Dannielle's heat she has a 100 percent chance of becoming pregnant." At her statement my eyes shot towards Kaine and he looked at me knowingly. Last night I was in heat when we mated and if I remembered correctly he did not pull out of me when he came nor did he have a condom on. I guess waiting is out of the question. I heard Kaine speak to me through our mind link not wanting our mothers to find out what exactly went on last night.
