Nathaniel tried to control his reaction, Hayden coughed lightly and I held all my shock possible.
"Yes, I'm actually her daughter!" I whispered. The nurse did agree.
I couldn't believe this I was about to faint. Not only Edward was alive but so was my mother.
I felt my chest feel heavy.
"Queen investigate if Analise Kingsley and follow her after her supposed death!"
"Yes Scarlett!" Queen whispered in my head. "
"No way to doubt it!" She whispered.
Nathaniel cleared his throat.
"We've actually come to visit them!"
The lady and the nurse looked at each other.
"What?" I asked.
"These aren't visiting hours and -" The lady stopped the nurse from talking.
"I'm sorry but you've never visited them its kind of awkward you just appear now. Mrs. Lisa never said anything about family members alive. She said Carson was a good friend and Carl was her son. She brought a medical record of them and Carson had been on drugs which damaged her brain and Carson invented this whole story about a man she loved and a daught-" The lady eyed me and she turned whiter.
" And Carl was aggressive always telling his mom he would make her pay for what she did." The lady ranted and then bit her mouth.
Nathaniel and I let out a relieved breath. They didn't know. Ana was a normal person coming to let the hospital have their patients.
Nathaniel cleared his throat he held up Edward's passport.
" Edward Monroe is Carl Rivers! I believe this psychiatric has been helping two innocent people be hostage." The lady and the nurse went whiter.
The nurse looked at the passport and her eyes couldn't believe it.
"I didn't bring an identity for Analise - Carson. I didn't know she was alive till now!" I whispered and we all stood dead silent. Mom was alive... I couldn't feel my face. I felt numb.
The silence began feeling like in a horror movie. "I have to call the director! I am sorry but these aren't visiting hours and we can't just let you through. This passport could be fake for all I know."
The lady had eyes of saucers she didn't believe the last part she mentioned either.
I took a newspaper out of Ana in jail and I provided it to the lady. Her hands shook while reading.
" That's the woman coming to visit, right?" Nathaniel whispered.
"You've been helping a murder." Nathaniel whispered and the lady shook her head in denial.
The nurse did believe us.
"Call the police!" The lady blurted out. Nerves visible on her face and our relief to know the police would come probably made her shake even more.

The police did make it and Queen helped to verify this wasn't a trick. They took pictures of the passport and had no choice than to request Carson's and Carl's medical file the lady wasn't to happy about that. I could only tell she feared for her job. We provided our testimony and they wrote it down.
"I'm sorry but until we find the truth we can't force the psychiatric to let you in you need an order if this is true it'd be ready in 72 hrs." A detective informed. I groaned.
"However, if they are under any medication suspend it!" The detective did advise. He looked worried, probably his thoughts went to those of a horror movie in which the psychiatrist is an evil place. I couldn't help think of that as well.
I let out a frustrated sound thinking I couldn't see them now. The detective gave me a sorry look.
"Stay in a hotel it's 15 minutes from here we'll also know where to search in case we get the order faster, alright?" We had no choice than to agree. I wanted my brother and now that my mom was alive I wanted them both.
The police left and Nathaniel, Hayden and I stood there unsure of what to do.
" Did you tell the director!? "The lady told the nurse.
The nurse nodded.
The lady tried to look calm but worry was still visibly in her face.

With all the pain in the world we had to leave... I ended up crying outside of the car. Nathaniel hugged me and my tears would freeze Nathaniel and Hayden ended laughing awkwardly. I chuckled in between frozen tears.
Ana was a monster a horrible one. My mother had been locked in here her whole life and I felt a horrible pressure inside of me. Edward and my mother must of been tortured in here I was sure. I felt horror fill me up. Instant nausea filled me.
"Scarlett I found your mother was taken a similar way as your brother. " Queen informed.
Nathaniel couldn't contain the surprise anymore he couldn't believe it either. Hayden was shocked and I was so close to fainting.
"Hey!" Nathaniel said with worry and held onto me before I fell. He instantly carried me inside of the car. I was indulged in warmness and I let out a sigh. Nathaniel closed the door and then he helped Hayden. Nathaniel got in the car. Nathaniel looked at me in worry.
"How are you feeling?"
However, before I answered. I jumped in frighten when I heard a tap on my window. The snow was falling faster making it hard to see.
I made out the figure of the nurse and she was freezing. Hayden reacted instantly and opened his door. She went in, closing the door on her way.
Her face regained some color and she stared at us.
"I believe you! I can promise you Nina nor me knew anything. If she's acting like that is because she's scared!" The nurse informed.
Nathaniel was about to say something but she stopped him.
"I didn't call the director. Every time Mrs. Lisa - Ana, whatever her name is, came she would be attended by the director instantly and I heard he submitted those two patients himself. I've only worked here for 2 years, this hospital is constantly changing it's secretary and nurses. "
" Fishy! "Nathaniel whispered. The nurse nodded.
" But if you've been here 2 years how do you know the director attended Ana personally and that everyone is constantly being moved? "Hayden questioned.
The nurse swallowed.
" Nina is the only person that I know that has been here since Carso- Analise was brought. In between talks is how I gathered all of this. I can assure you she has nothing to do with this she always mentioned something weird seem to be going on but that it was probably her being paranoid. "
" She still sensed it and she never said anything!" Nathaniel said.
The nurse swallowed.
" She has a sick mother I can only think she was worried about her job and decided she was overthinking it. "
Nathaniel and I looked at each other.
" Why are you telling us this? "I asked.
The nurse gave us a small smile." I have a soft spot for your mom. " The nurse looked at my features looking amazed once again.
I swallowed.
" Analise has always been different, a very kind person but always with this sad look. The last time Ana visited her, Analise was left in chaos and tears. She had to be constantly sedated by orders of the director. After that her look was dead she kept repeating her daughter was dead and every night since then she has been crying. She's was never visited again. "
I couldn't describe the horrors I felt anymore. I wanted to cry and hug them so much, tell them they were found. I was just focusing on getting them out and take them home. I held on to that because I was loosing it.
" There's one more thing you need to know!" The nurse whispered worry in her voice.
"This morning the director received a personal call from Ana. I became curious and when I did a search I found that Carl-!"
"Edward!" Hayden corrected and the nurse gave him a sorry look.
"You found what?" I immediately asked.
The nurse licked her lips.
"He's going to be transferred out!"
My eyes went wide.
"Where?" Nathaniel asked.
"To a hospital in New York! However, with everything going on wouldn't he be sent to another psychiatric instead of a hospital? That's why I'm completely believing you two. "
Hayden turned to look at me.
"What's the name of the hospital?"
The nurse shrugged. "I'm sorry I can't remember but he is due to be transferred out in 48 hrs and he's been sedated for a few days. They sedated him this morning!"
"Queen can you -"
"The same hospital he was originally taken from. Transfer will take place on December 20th at 7 am!" Queen informed.
The nurse looked at Queen with awe and fear.
"Ana was going to keep her promise but she would stop any one from doing anything with my mom being hostage!" I whispered and Nathaniel agreed.
"I told you she had to have something else!" Nathaniel added.
"We can't be sure. The order won't be ready to stop the transfer. We can't let my brother be transferred to that hospital!" I looked with plea at the nurse and she grimaced.
"I'm in charge of helping him transfer out." She swallowed.

Nathaniel and I rented a room in a hotel. The hotel was very warm and homely. It was also small and the people here were very friendly.
The room had two beds. I would be sleeping with Hayden and Nathaniel on the other bed.
I instantly called my dad and kept the part of my mom out. Oliver and him had to see her with their very own eyes. Nathaniel agreed. My dad agreed to keep playing nice husband with Ana and Ana was apparently falling for it. Social services was also going to give my Hayden and dad a visit so this is what Nathaniel and I were planning what were going to do.

Nathaniel's POV

"I really hate this okay but once you have my brother you have to take him away. I have to stay to take mom out!" Scarlett whispered.
It was the middle of the night and we were arguing.
I didn't want to leave her here alone. I loved this woman and all of these events were driving her up the wall. She wanted to see her brother and she also wanted her mom she was debating in between two things but Edward being transferred out before we had the order was placing him on a priority. We had Queen reschedule the time of the transfer.
I sighed in defeat. Hayden was already sleeping and we were arguing in whispers.
"Okay let's go over this. You're suppose to meet the nurse at 5. Here in the hotel, right?" Scarlett asked.
I nodded. "You will also take Hayden so social services doesn't freak out." Scarlett whispered. That's the part I wasn't convinced of either.
I could see all the worry written on Scarlett. I was worried. I hugged Scarlett and she returned the hug. The huge jackets made it kind of awkward. There was a snowstorm so we could hear the outside.
"Let's sleep a few hours." I whispered and Scarlett nodded.
We both went toward our beds. We were sleeping with our huge jackets. It was very very cold. I turned the lights off and faced Scarlett's side even if in the dark I couldn't see her. This was to much. I couldn't believe everything that had happened. Her mom and her brother alive... It was a miracle. I had the urge to see David's and Oliver's face once they saw Analise.
I tried to sleep but I couldn't. I could only think about Scarlett being left alone and me running with Edward and Hayden.
I had already prepared a private airplane. Everything was ready to take Edward back.
Two hours went by and the sun didn't appear due to the snowstorm. I managed to sleep for a few minutes but was woken up by nausea. I silently ran to the bathroom and released a few contents. I was beginning to feel annoyed. I was having these awkward cravings and morning vomits. I had gone to the doctor but they couldn't figure it out.
I washed my teeth shattering them due to the coldness.
I went back to the room seeing it was time to leave and see Hayden up. Scarlett was sleeping. She fell asleep thank god and I immediately went to turn the alarms off. She hadn't slept these days and I preferred she sleep now and wake up to know Edward was safe.
I swallowed and lifted a finger to my lips to let Hayden know not to make any sound. He nodded and with silent footsteps he walked to the door. We both looked at Scarlett's sleeping face. I couldn't help and leave a kiss on her forehead. "Be safe." I whispered while leaving and carrying Hayden.
We reached the car and I placed Hayden inside and let him know to hide behind my seat. He was small so he fit perfectly.
"No noise!" I whispered and he nodded obediently.
I closed the door and soon I saw a figure making it's way towards me. The closer it came I found the figure of the nurse. I opened the door for her and she went in while her teeth shattered. I hurried to the side of my car and waited for her to say something.
After warm filled her I could see she was nervous.
She looked out of the window and we saw a car go by.
"Start driving!" She whispered and I did.
"You're going to change into this when we get inside." She whispered. I saw her hold a white uniform like the one she had and I nodded.
We were close to reaching security. "Park and hide behind and let me drive." She whispered. I swallowed and did so. We changed spots and I hid behind. Hayden covered his mouth and I begged him with my eyes to remain silent.
"Hey Emily!" A security man chirped. His voice was different from the other guy so I was sure this was another gaurd. The morning guard...
"Hey!" Emily cheered back.
"Your early today!" The man sounded surprised.
"Have to we have a transfer after it I can leave and come back on my normal shift!" Emily informed hiding her nerves...
I bit my lip.
"Like always." Emily said faking annoyance. The guard agreed and let her in.
Once we crossed Emily let out a sigh of relief. "I was scared he would ask about the car!" She whispered. I sighed in relief and sat on the backseat. From hiding beneath my muscles ached.
Emily drove to the back spot of the psychiatric and I saw another car. Emily got out of the car and closed the door.
" Hayden you have to stay here! Do not go anywhere can you promise that?" I asked with fear.
He swallowed and nodded. "Please don't make any sound please please don't go anywhere!" I begged and he nodded again. With one last look at him I walked out and closed the door trailing behind Emily.
"Go change!" She whispered while opening a door that said employees only.
I did so instantly and carried my keys and phone. I was slightly nervous and so was she.
I met her again and we made ourselves inside the psychiatrist.
It was lonely and scary. "Good morning!" Two guys chirped at Emily.
"Good morning!" She said back and the two men looked at me.
"This is the other newbie. Directors orders for him to practice a transfer!" Emily informed and they shot me welcoming smiles. I smiled back lightly nervous.
"Let's get going the ambulance should be here any minute now!" Emily whispered and they nodded.
We walked through corridors and I felt goosebumps. The corridors looked like they would never end. We stopped on a room - cell with number 101 and the door was opened.
I saw a man, definitely not Edward sedated and sleeping on the one single bed in the tiny room.
I had to stop any reaction. The only window available was the one at the door.
"This is Carl Rivers guys!" Emily said quickly. I kept it shut. The guys nodded.
"Please bring the stretcher!" Emily ordered the two guys. They did so and out they went.
"Listen were going to let the ambulance take this guy. After that ambulance leaves we will sedate those two and break Edward out!" She whispered fastly while unfastening the guy in the bed. She quickly gave me a needle filled with white liquid and I swallowed.
She hid one in her pocket and I copied her.
The two men came in holding a stretcher and we placed the sedated man on the bed. Each one of us carried a corner.
We moved swiftly and I repeated Emily's words in my head. I eyed the men and decided I'd be sedating the bigger guy.
We walked outside and an ambulance was already there. A guy descended and he looked sick and coughed.
"Hi." The guy said.
He watched the guy on the stretcher.
"I have a favor to ask you. My companion is sick, worse than me!" The guy chuckled and sniffed.
"Do you think one of your men can help me take him and I promise to drop him back!" The guy pleaded.
Emily seemed surprised.
"You can take these two!" Emily pointed the other guys and they groaned.
The ambulance guy looked more relieved though. "Actually it'd be perfect I'm scared that guy wakes up!" The ambulance guy pointed at the guy in the stretcher.
"Emily!" One of them whined.
"And I'll fix you two a free day today!" Emily pointed out and with no objection the men agreed.
They placed the guy on the stretcher and off they went. Once they were out of our site Emily ran back in and I trailed behind her.
"This went better than I thought!" Emily yelled. I sighed relieved.
"We have to hurry the director comes at 7:00!" She announced.
Soon we made it to another cell. Cell 113.
"Can you carry him?" Emily asked and I nodded. She unlocked the door with trembling hands and she opened the door.
I was meet with another tiny room and with the person Scarlett had wished back all her life. I was frozen. Edward Monroe.
Pale features, sedated, long hair covering part of his face and his chest rising slowly up and down. However, his face looked unpeaceful.
He had a scar probably from the accident but he was alive. Here he was in flesh and blood. "Hey snap out of it we have to hurry!" Emily yelled in panic and we began untieing him.
I carried him over my shoulders he had a light gown. Fuck I forgot clothes. He was very skinny and I was surprised to see he didn't weight anything.
Emily hurried me with her eyes and while I hurried outside. She locked the doors she had left open and grabbed a blanket on the way. I wondered if we had time to take Scarlett's mom.
"Is there enough time to take Analise?" I asked in urgency while hurrying outside.
She shook her head. "This side is the men's wing she's on the other side. I'm sorry time is up!" She said. I nodded and felt frustrated.
Taking Analise was Scarlett's job and I had to trust her that she was a strong woman. I did feel sorry but I had to do this. Edward was the one in more danger I had to take him to a safe spot.
Emily opened the door for me and I placed him on the backseat. Hayden's eyes went wide. He stared at his father.
Emily passed a blanket towards me. I covered Edward. I shut the door and Emily went to the other side to drive. I went in the passengers seat. "I need you to try and hide again!" Emily said very nervously. She was shaking.
I covered Edward as best as possible and hid myself. I was very nervous as well. Hayden wouldn't stop looking at his father.
He was awed.
"Ready!" I announced and Emily began driving. We reached the security line again.
"That was quick!" The guard said.
I felt like I was sweating. I tried to control my breathing.
"So I forgot to ask you, whose this car from?" The guard asked and I sensed Emily tensed up.
"A gift!" She chirped and faked happiness.
"Oh!"
Soon we heard a honk coming from up front.
"Directors here!" The guard mumbled. My eyes went wide.
"You know how much he hates waiting!" Emily added.
"Yes, get going!" The guard whispered frightened. Emily advanced the car. "Emily!" I heard a voice that made me have chills.
"Hey!" Emily said quietly.
"I came to supervise the transfer are you done already?" The director asked in confusion.
"What you mean?" Emily played dumb.
"The transfer was at 7!"
"No it was at 5!"
"No Emily I sware it was at 7." The director said in hurry.
"That's the information I received the ambulance left a while ago!" Emily added.
"Okay!" The man said in frustration.
The car began moving and after I felt it was safe to move, I did.
"He's going to review the footage!" Emily said in fear.
I turned around to see Edward's sleeping face.
"Emily you have no idea how much we owe you!" I whispered. Emily nodded but was visible fear in her eyes.
Hayden touched Edward's face and removed the hair covering it.
"Bringing his child was dangerous!" Emily whispered. Hayden jumped. I provided a sorry smile at Emily. She shook her head and I indicated her where to drive to.
I began dailing Scarlett and there was an answer on the first ring.
"Why didn't you wake me? Are you two okay? What is happening?" Scarlett yelled in frustration and worry.
"The four of us are okay!" I whispered and Scarlett sighed and I heard her breathing in calmness.
"Scarlett were close to the private airplane. I have Hayden and Edward with me, please have Queen erase their footage so Emily and I don't get in trouble!" Scarlett sighed in relieve.
Emily shot me an awe look.
"Thank Emily for me. Keep them safe please. Nathaniel keep yourself safe." Scarlett whispered.
"Scarlett please be careful!"
I turned to look behind me, the hotel was on the contrary side of were we where going I begged God to protect Scarlett.
"Please call me when you reach home!" Scarlett whispered.
"I promise."
The phone call ended and my gaze fell on Edward's face. All the shock back.
Edward Monroe alive in flesh and blood after all these years.
