It's the wee hours into the morning, the sun yet to rise and Theo and Kyran lay awake, staring at each other. Kyran's fingers trail soft touches on the length of Theo's abdomen, while said mate plays with the short hairs on the nape of his mate.
"What are you thinking about?" Theo whispers well enough for his mate to hear
Kyran lays quiet for a few seconds before responding just as softly "Just thinking about the meeting with the clan the other day and the meeting we will have today with other leaders... You?"
"Hmmm...the same I guess" Theo responds
"Hmm I still feel they tension, do you?" Kyran asks
"Yeah, we have to reassure them that they will be safe with us protecting them." Theo responds back
"Yeah, I can even feel some overly excited warriors" Kyran lightly chuckled
Theo pulls Kyran into his body, breathing in his scent as both they minds slowly drift into the meeting they had with their clan.
Whispers and murmurs filled the hall as they spotted the prophets they was introduced to along the morning. However they did not give a sense of prophets but rather a strong sense of leadership and wisdom...'well I guess wisdom contributes to prophecy' said a group of women standing at the back.
The whispered noise still remained until the Alpha and King was announced. People flowed into their seats, suddenly feeling secure with the true mate couple's powerful auras.
Once on stage the hall remained silent, even if a pin fell onto the wooden floor now, it would be heard.
"My people, I hope you are well today" Theo started with Kyran standing by his side.
"Good morning everyone" he offered with a gentle smile, compared to his Alpha mate with a stern face.
The people said they various greetings, before silence fell again.
"I know this may be sudden but we as your leaders and protectors, it is our duty to keep you safe and in the loop" Theo started
"I'm sure our beta Hunter as come around introducing you to two wise and powerful prophets" he continued
"There are two my side and are called Soo Ho and Angelena" Kyran points to they direction and when they name was mentioned a slight nod of the head was made
"They have traveled a great deal to be here with us today and warn us of a great danger approaching us" Kyran said and Theo quickly spoke after him sensing tension
"But fear not my people, we have already started making plans for this danger." He paused taking a deep breath in before exhaling it, Kyran linking his hand in his mate's
"It as reached certain ears that our clan holds a true mating pair between male wolf and male vampire. As much as it is a blessing to us and our clan to each Kyran and I that we are mated, it also brings a danger that lurked the ground of earth, for centuries waiting for revenge"
"Are we can say is she us a dangerous female vampire that thrives at the fear of other and runs on revenge for male pairings especially between cross-species. It is now our job as the true mates pair to diminish her from this earth" Kyran says letting a warm sensation slip from his lips to calm his people.
"She goes by Devilin and is known to attract in the dark. Is all we can say for now to you." Theo says
"We will increase patrol on the boarders from today onwards, and curfew from the younger ones is no more 10pm but rather 8pm" Kyran says and a lot of groaning from the younger children and teenagers are heard
"I don't appreciate your groaning towards the enforcements your Alpha and Luna has placed forth" Theo said and a groan was heard from his side
"Your Alpha and King has made" Kyran corrects and laughing gently erupts the tension
After some seconds Theo clears his throat bring back the attention to the stage in front "Lastly, we ask for those who wish to be in this battle to place your name on the notice board in the back and we will reach out to you tomorrow the next day"
"We will not force and judge you should you wish to refrain from the battle and stay with your loved ones. We will train those who partake hard and push you beyond your boundaries, remember this when you make your decisions." Kyran states clearly
The meeting ended and the notice board was filled with names from both men and women.
The next day men and women where tested on their level of strength and placed into four groups, training they bodies and minds.

The light poured into the silent room, where both Kyran and Theo had fallen asleep in the thoughts.
A loud knock on the door woke the pair up from their musings.
Theo gently pushed Kyran in the direction of the bathroom while he put on a shirt and walked to the door.
"Morning Alpha, I'm here to remind you that today our guests arrive and it is also yours and my king's personal training day set by the prophets" Vincent says from his tall lean stature
"Vincent I did say you can call us by our names when we are alone" Theo lazily yawns and leans on the door frame
"And I did say if I don't treat you as such then the respect towards the Alpha and King can lower. However I did say during family time I will address you two appropriately" Vincent says and walks away before Theo can protest.
..
"Who was that?" Kyran asks Theo as he enters the bathroom
"Just Vincent letting us know that our guests arrive today and that it's also the day we will be personally trained by Soo ho and Angelena"
"Ohh I forgot the latter thinking so much about seeing Benny and Takeru" Kyran says causing Theo to growl as he enters the shower
"Relax big boy we are just friends, besides I have enough of a Alpha here to keep me entertained" he says kissing Theo
...
"Pay close attention Theo" Angelena scolded
"Sorry" Theo responds shaking his head and scolding himself to stop ogling his shirtless mate across the room who is focusing so hard at his mock battle with Soo Ho.
"Come at me" he says getting in a defense stance making Angelena smile mockingly.
Across the room Soo Ho instructs Kyran to concentrate his energies and mind.
"I'm sure if you concentrate hard enough you can clearly have control of your senses and how you receive them. You shutting it out can hurt yourself. Breathe, control it. Feel that power." Soo Ho instructs Kyran after their physical fight on how to control his and lease his powers.
The loose ground starts to slightly pick up around Kyran, sparks circle his body and the chatter of his clan enter his ears as many mixed up voices, as he stays a few inches elevated above the ground.
"Focus Kyran, control the voices as they come to you. Breathe. You control the power not the other way around." Soo Ho repeats and Kyran tries his best not to get overwhelmed and control his breathing.
His ears pick up a distress growl from his right. 'Mate' he thinks and all of a sudden a lightning bolt strikes in the direction of the distress, causing him to turn to his mate and fly over, still covered in sparks, shocking Soo Ho
Both Angelena and Theo sensed the power but Theo stayed put in marvel as the bolt moved towards Angelena but she was fast and moved out the way. The bolt making contact with the wooden gym wall causing an explosion
"You okay babe/honey" Kyran said Soo Ho ask their mates at the same time.
"Wow baby, you're so amazing" Theo marveled causing Kyran to blush
"Good aim Kyran, next time be a little more aware" Angelena compliment, maybe?
"Ah, sorry I didn't mean to attack you just heard Theo in pain" he admits still blushing.
"That's because your mate is too predictable. He needs more experience on his physical fighting before training his powers." She says as Soo Ho still holds her in his arms.
"I guess we can call it a day. Good job Kyran, we'll work more on your senses tomorrow" Soo Ho says and Kyran nods.
"And you" Angelena points Theo, "leave behind those battle techniques you learned in Alpha camp and bring instinct so we can train your powers" she scolds.
One would think that a proud Alpha like Theo would growl and battle to show his strength at the tone used, but all he did was his a affirmative nod and left with his mate, in the direction of their house.
..
"Did you get hurt?" Kyran asked as they left the gym with aching bones and muscles.
"No, I was angered she counted my every move and I couldn't get a hit at her" Theo admits "but you baby, you where so cool" he praises
"Why thank you, but I still lack concentration" Kyran signs
Theo bends down and gently kisses his mate, "I did yoga, and it helps with concentration, maybe we can do that in the even to help you?" Theo offers
"I'd love that." He kisses his mate back "and I'll help you with instinct" Kyran smiled smugly at his mated.
"Alpha, King" Vincent made his presence known with Hunter beside him
"Vincent, Hunter" Theo acknowledged and Kyran nodded.
"Alpha Elliott and leader Alek said they would arrive around 5pm, and Pride Alphas Takeru and Benny said they will reach around just after 4pm." Hunter informed
"And Alpha James from the north pack?" Kyran asked
"Alpha James has already reached the town and is with his mate exploring town and said he'd rather enjoy his time with his mate rather than wait for latecomers and be bored looking at others" Vincent informs
"Still a prick I see" Theo laughs
"Very well, you two will receive them when they get here. We will be using the conference room in the meeting hall, tell the cooks to prepare some dinner for 5pm" Kyran instructs
"Yes my king" Hunter says and their both turn to leave.
"Well, since we have a few hours before our guests arrive, let's train your instincts" Kyran says and pulls Theo in a different direction
