__Chara's POV__
Ever since last night , I tired to keep the information HATE gave me a secret. Who knows , my parents will get worried and some people might avoid me. I don't want that to happen.
I decided to take a walk to ease my mind a bit.
I walked to the cliff where I'd train, I sat down to the rock and tried to see what this new power could do to that tree over there.
I tried my best but nothing happened.
Ugh....
HATE said I'm the first to have this power. And I need to ask myself how to handle this.
But that makes no sense! I don't know how to handle this thing!
"HATE you make no sense! JUST TELL ME!" I shout.
I look and see half of the cliff destroyed. I gasp.
This power is far more dangerous. I back away and touch a tree. A black force came out of my hand and engulfed the tree completely.
"Oh god." I say.
Black stuff started to drop out of my eyes and mouth.
"Oh god please no." I plead.
On the snow more darkness appeared. , covering the place.
"No no no no."
Cracks started to appear.
I quickly ran off, covering my face. I ran back home. I open the door and quickly run to the bathroom.
I wash off the stuff. Luckily it came off.
Now for the stuff that follows my feet.
I look down , and there was nothing.
I look at my hands.
Nothing either.
Wait....
I open the window and let my hand out. A bunch of darkness came out and filled my hand to the point it fell onto the snow. When I put it back inside, the black stuff disappeared.
"What...."
I guess if I go outside weird stuff will happen. If I'm inside it's fine.
"HATE if you're trying to make me confused, you've clearly won." I sigh.
Of course no response.
"Does this fucking mean I have to stay inside?! What is this quarantine?"
( now you feel my suffering)
"Uh...Chara who are you talking to?" I hear Asriel speak.
I quickly open the door.
"To myself!"I exclaim.
"Oh ok. Me and Frisk were wondering if you'd like to make a snowman outside."
"No!" I shout.
Azzy looks at me weirdly.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes! Totally fine!" I start to sweat.
He places his hand on my forehead.
"No fever."
I roll my eyes.
"Why do you not want to go outside?"
"Because I wanna stay home!"
"Chara please, it's better if you go outside , it's good for your social skills, mom said. The twins will be there."
"No! If they're there I'm not coming!"
Asriel looks at me , puzzled. He then puts his hands on his hips.
"Chara."
I sweat even more.
"What is up with you?"
"Nothing!"
"You're lying , there's clearly something wrong."
I shook my head.
Asriel got fed up and pulled my arm. He brought me to the door.
"No!"I scream.
We were now outside.
"Listen Chara , you can tell me anything. I'm your Best Friend ! " He says calmly.
Meantime I felt the darkness on my hands, so I hid them behind my back.
Asriel continued to speak, not aware of the darkness starting to surround around out house.
The more I got stressed, the more my black tears were showing. I covered my face by pulling up my hoodie.
"So you see, Chara , you can tell me anything!"
"Um..."
"What is it?"
I continue to hesitate, looking at the ground.
"I still can't tell you."
"Seriously?"
"I can't !"
"And why?"
"BECAUSE IT'S TOO DANGEROUS!" I scream. I accidentally managed to hit Asriel against a tree. I stared at the scene , scared.
I quickly ran back to the house.
I ran to my room , locked the door and sat on the floor. Then started to cry.
"Chara." I hear dad say knocking on my door. I couldn't hurt anyone else, but we were inside, so it was fine. I let him in.
"Chara...it was an accident." Dad says, sitting beside me. He puts his arm on my shoulder.
I cry on his chest.
I admit to him why it happened, what HATE told me , everything.
"I'm becoming a demon again dad..." I sob.
"No you're not. That phase of your life will never occur again. This I promise."
I nod silently.
"You don't need to go through this alone. " He tells me. I continue to nod. I wipe my tears away, and see how dark they were.
"AH!" I exclaim.
Dad calmed me down and hold my hands with his.
"We'll help you get through this. And if we succeed , your curse might become a gift." He reassures me.
I nod, then smile.
"Come on , let's try it again." He holds my hand. We walk to the door. Frisk , Asriel and the twins were near the shack, not far.
I shake away my worry.
I put my hand outside of the door. The black stuff came again , and it feel onto the floor. Dad said nothing. He was perfectly calm.
And so was I.
I then put my foot out. Darkness flowed on the snow like waves.
I was still calm.
I put my head out, making the tears multiply and multiply.
I'm calm.
I finally went outside. I stood there, quiet.
The darkness was still appearing , engulfing everything in front of me.
"It may not disappear while you go outside, but at least you know how to be calm whenever this happens." Dad tells me.
"I'm proud of you." He says.
I look at the others , who were having fun.
"Lesson n.2 , don't be afraid of how people will react." Dad says.
I take a deep breath and walked to them.
I was now in front of them.
"Hey..."
Everyone looked at me, surprised, they even looked at the black traces I left on the ground.
"Chara....are you okay?" Frisk asks worriedly.
"I'm just having problems...with something. " I tell her. "Asriel I'm so sorry what happened, I got out of control." I apologize to him. Azzy smiles and hugs me tightly.
"It's okay."
"Can we know why the hell is there black stuff everywhere?"Mabel asks.
" Well...it's a long story." I tell her.
" Does it have to do with the parasite thing living in you?" She asks.
I stare at her, surprised.
" How...do you know that?"
" MK spilled the beans." Frisk informs me.
I face-palm. "Yes, it is."
" Wait, Chara has a parasite living inside of her?!" Dipper exclaims.
I snap my fingers and HATE appeared. She was in blob form and hovered over the twins, staring at them. She then returned to me.
"Her name is HATE." I tel them.
"How did you get that thing inside of you?"
"That's none of your concern, until , I'm ready to reveal it."
Frisk turned to me.
" How does HATE have to do with this?"
" She told me I inherited...IT" I make quotation marks with my fingers. Frisk and Asriel were able to understand. The twins didn't.
" Oh my god Chara! I'm sorry!" Frisk hugs me tightly.
The twins were still confused.
" We're still confused of what's going on." Dipper says.
"Basically, Chara has been through many things, and they were most likely bad things. Now another bad thing is happening to her, so we'll try to help Chara with it." Frisk explains.
Mabel nods slowly.
" You'll understand soon..."
After a long silence of Mabel and Dipper questioning their existence, Mabel finally spoke.
" Um...Asriel showed us their theme, can you show yours?"
I pulled out my phone and played my improved version of my theme.
" Why does it no match Frisk and Asriel's Dipper asks."
" They're more of a pacifist, I'm more of a fighter." I explain.
" Will we ever see your attacks?" Mabel asks.
" One day, maybe." I tell them.
Heh.
They changed the topic.
