[ all might making wifey worry ]
It was during that night, the night where Toshinori fought All for One. That night, you gasped in horror as the news reported about the fight. You dropped the glass plate you were holding, thank God your kids were deep sleepers.
Your husband was once again face-to-face with his enemy. You knew he couldn't hold on much longer, he was slowly losing his strength and it made you worry to no end. You wanted to so badly enter that fight but that would result in the world knowing your identity and relation to All Might.
Toshinori didn't tell anyone that he was married with kids, only a few knew about you and your children. "Mama" you turned around and saw one of your kids, he rubbed his eyes and walked to you. You turned off the TV quickly so he wouldn't see or hear what was happening to his father and ran to him. "Baby, go back to sleep" he yawned and asked, "When is papa coming home?"
"P-papa will be home in a few minutes, why don't you go to sleep? Papa will see you soon" he nodded and walked back to his shared bedroom with his brother. You felt nervous, what if your husband wouldn't come back? What if he died? What if—
"Damnit" you cursed, you grabbed your coat and ran out the door. You arrived at the battleground, which was a huge crater, and saw All Might, he looked defeated in his small form. He gave a small speech and you ran to him but he had passed out before you could reach him.
"Idiot, you're a big idiot" you mumbled as they got the number one hero into an ambulance. You held his hand the whole way to the hospital. His pained expression saddened you and you began to sing, it was your quirk; it allowed you to make other people feel a certain way like sadness, joy etc. His expression changed and you sighed in relief.
The doctor had just informed you, after a whole night of waiting, that you could see your husband. You were tired but rushed to his room since you were in the cafeteria to get yourself a coffee, that was soon abandoned when the doctor told you that your husband was awake.
"Who are you?" It was a hero, he didn't look familiar to you nor did you care about his identity at the moment. You brushed him off and was about to open the door to your husband's room when he blocked you. "What are you doing? You're not allowed in there" oh how badly you wanted to punch this person's face.
"Let her in" it was Shota Aizawa and he was with another one of your friends, Nemuri. The hero stepped aside and allowed you all in. There on the bed, your husband laid with a lot of bandages. "The press is trying to find out who you are, Y/n" you heard Shota say, you walked to the chair beside the bed and sat down. You held your husband's hand and gazed at his beaten up form.
"So what? Let them pry. I am not ashamed to say that I am his wife" Nemuri went beside you and placed her hand on your shoulder. "I know but villains are running rampant with All Might's retirement and you are the first target for some" you heard her say.
"Those villains will track you down, along with your kids. They will use you, maybe even kill you" Shota added.
You scoffed and turned to the man, Nemuri stepping aside for you to see him clearer. "Have you forgotten that I was also a hero? That I have encountered and defeated villains?" He looked at you blankly. "Yes, I'm well aware of that. As you said, you've encountered villains so you know what some are capable of doing. If you reveal your identity, not only will you be hunted down but also your kids. They will use them, Y/n"
You stiffened and the memory of your two boys flashed into your mind. A memory of them smiling and running to their papa. You turn your back to him, "Alright then"
"Is Hizashi with my kids?"
"Yes, he's with Principal Nezu in your home" you nod, they were safe. But their daddy was injured.
After a while, the other two left and you took care of your husband. You were tired and dozed off with your head resting on the bed.
Your husband woke up and looked to the side to see you sleeping. He lifted up his arm and brushed a few strands of your hair out of the way. He enjoyed watching you sleep but his body still hurt.
He noticed you waking up and smiled. "Hello, beautiful" you froze and started tearing up. "Toshi!" You wrapped your arms around his neck and hugged him so tight that he heard a bone crack.
"Woah there, not too tight, hun" you laughed a little through the tears that were already streaming down your face. You didn't let go, afraid that you might lose him if you did.
"It's alright, I'm here" he soothed your back as you buried your face into his shoulder.
After a while of crying, you let go and sat back unto the chair. You wiped away the tears and then gave your husband a serious face. "What were you thinking?! You can't fight with your condition and yet you still did!"
Your husband sweatdropped and let out a 'hehe'. "I'm sorry, hun. But now, at least we won't have to worry about him anymore" your eyes softened and he gripped your hand.
"Idiot" you mumbled as his hand caressed your cheek. "Your student came to see you a few times"
"Young Midoriya?"
You nod, "He was worried for you and he actually knew me. Did you tell him about me?"
You ask with a small giggle, your husband smiled. "Of course I did, why wouldn't I tell my predecessor about my amazing wife? He also met the kids a few times" You blush and look away. Yes, even after years of marriage you still blushed when your husband compliments you.
"So that's why they keep talking about Midoriya" you mumble.
Toshinori looked around the room, looking for something or someone. "Where are the kids?"
"They're at home with Hizashi and Nezu, I'll give them a call" you stood up and got your purse from the table and called Hizashi.
After the call, you sat back down and smiled at your husband. "They'll be here in a few minutes"
"Do they know?"
"No, I didn't tell them. I didn't want to worry them" he nodded and looked out the window. "It's for the best, their father, the symbol of peace, was defeated. Now he can't protect them"
Your face saddened at his statement, true, he couldn't fight anymore nor could he protect them but at least he is safe. You intertwined your hands and kissed his hand softly. "You're safe and alive, that's all that matters"
"Mama! Papa!" The door burst open and the two little demons entered the room, followed by Hizashi and Nezu. "Papa, you're hurt!"
"Papa, what happened?"
They bombarded their father with questions as he laughed, trying his best to answer them all. You smile at the scene then approached Hizashi and Nezu, "Thank you for looking after them today"
"Hey hey hey, it's no problem!" Hizashi responded. "They are little spitfires that is one thing but it isn't a problem" Nezu smiled and you returned the smile.
"Mama!" You turned around and saw your youngest son, "Yes?"
"We'll be off then" you waved them bye and they left the room. "Mama, is papa gonna stay here?"
"For a couple of days" you answered and the two of you went back to the bed where their father laid. "Is papa not gonna be a hero anymore?" Your youngest asked again, his blond hair bobbing up and down.
"He's retired now so, yes"
"I'm gonna protect papa now cause he's retired!" Your eldest exclaimed with a pose and a grin, his blue eyes filled with excitement. You giggle a little at his mispronunciation. "No no, you should protect mama," your husband told him.
"Alright then, I'll protect both papa and mama!" You laugh as your youngest pouts beside you. "No! I'm the one protecting mama!" He exclaims as he hugged your arm, your kids looked at each other with glares.
Before they could start a fight, you intervened. "Why don't the two of you work together to protect me and papa?" They looked as if they were contemplating your suggestion before looking at each other again, nodding.
"Yes!"
After a while of your kids playing, they had fallen asleep on your husband's bed so you transferred them to the couch, opposite to the bed. "Our kids are growing up fast," Toshinori said suddenly.
"They are" you agreed and smiled at their sleeping figures. "You made a lot of people worry but you saved us all. Good job, All Might"
He grinned then pulled you in for a kiss. "Thank you, wifey"
