Jennie and Jisoo were once again singing their hearts out with "Once Again", Jisoo being the vocalist and Jennie being the rapper.

The two were utterly heartbroken after their little New Year's Eve Party with BTS. Jisoo found out about Min Yoongi crushing on Jennie.

And Jennie, obvious reasons. Getting sister-zoned by Kim Taehyung himself.

Jisoo gulped down onto the bottle itself, forgetting about any etiquette. She's heartbroken for crying out loud.

"I wish I was you . . ." Jisoo frowned, circling her finger on the top of the bottle.

Jennie scoffed at this, shaking her head. "Don't be preposterous, unnie. That Min Yoongi doesn't see your worth."

"Maybe because he doesn't see me as a badass like you," Jisoo heaved a heavy sigh. "I'm not blaming you for anything, Jendeukie. I'm just upset by the fact that . . ."

"Out of all people, it has to be your bestfriend?" Jennie finished Jisoo's sentence.

Jisoo cautiously looked at Jennie because of this, hoping that the younger wasn't offended or anything.

"I get it, unnie. I know," Jennie gave Jisoo a faint smile, knowing what she felt pretty well. It was what was happening to her - her ultimate crush liking Lisa.

"What's wrong with me?" Jisoo pouted.

"Nothing is," Jennie shrugged. "Maybe the person you chose to like is what's wrong."

"He's wrong for me?" Jisoo lifted her eyebrows up. "What? He's like a sin or something?" the elder giggled at this. "I'm gonna need to confess, then. I've committed a grave sin."

Jennie giggled at her unnie's philosophy. "You don't say?"

"I feel pathetic," Jisoo clicked her tongue, opening up another bottle.

Jennie didn't want to become overly drunk, remembering that she's going to buy Jisoo a birthday gift tomorrow. And so, she just let the elder waste herself away even if she, herself, wanted to get hella drunk as well.

"You shouldn't, really," Jennie forced a smile. "You have a chance with him, trust me. He just likes my rapping skills."

By that, Jisoo's eyes widened, coming up with an idea. "If ever you get a rap part, let me rap it in one of our concerts."

By this, Jennie just shrugged, clinking her bottle with Jisoo's.

>><<

Jennie woke up with a headache, seeing Jisoo besides her, passing out on the table as she was lying down on the couch, hugging her wine bottle.

She stood up, forcing herself to go to the kitchen and clean their mess up. The dorks (a.k.a. Rosie and Lisa) would surely bicker at the two nonstop about the mess they've made.

After that, she whipped up some hangover soup for her and Jisoo. After eating up, she didn't dare to wake the elder up, since she was sure that she's going to complain.

Jisoo didn't want to be moved from the spot from where she slept. If she slept on the ground, she wants to wake up on the ground so she wouldn't ask anyone about how she got here or there. At least, she knows what happened to her.

Jennie put the hangover soup for Jisoo just besides her, and left a little note as well.

Unnie,
I made some hangover soup. I went out to buy something at the mall. I'll be back before 10PM. Rest well and sober up! Love you, unnie!

- 젠니

Jennie took a quick bath and changed into her indoor clothes momentarily, thinking that she should at least wait for Jisoo to wake up and make sure that she ate well before she left.

However, when she got out of her room, she found their beloved maknae, Lisa, tiptoeing across almost the whole dining room, momentarily glancing at Jisoo who was still fast asleep.

Jennie rolled her eyes at this, sighing in disbelief and knew where Lisa was heading off to. She immediately scooted in and went in front of Lisa, blocking her path. The younger's eyes widened, surprised by Jennie's sudden presence.

Lisa closed her eyes, biting her bottom lip as she heard Jisoo groan, seemingly about to wake up. Jennie didn't take her eyes off of the maknae, though. "And where do you think you're going?"

"J-Jungkook?" she nervously answered, knowing that she can never lie to Jennie.

Jennie and Lisa heard how Jisoo groaned again, scratching her hair as she found the noise rather aggravating. Sighing, Jennie pulled Lisa by hand and immediately pushed her to her room, closing the door.

The elder looked distressed, causing Lisa to grow a bit anxious, knowing that if it was Jisoo who caught her, she might probably scold her on the spot.

"We all just met up yesterday, and now you're meeting up again?" Jennie was close to scolding the maknae herself. "Why?" she calmly asked, which surprised the younger a bit.

Lisa, who was confused of how Jennie was acting, didn't let her guard down. She stood up straight, looking directly at her unnie. "We're friends, it's all natural."

Jennie wasn't buying the maknae's reason, spitting out, "Friends?" she faked a barf. "I'm coming with you."

"H-huh?" Lisa gulped. Jennie nodded, a smirk forming at the edge of her lips. She crossed her arms over her chest and wiggled her eyebrows at the younger yet taller blonde.

"Yes, I'm coming with you. And you know you can't change my decision, Lisa."

"I'll dress up, I'll take ten minutes or so. Wait for me," Jennie told her, turning around as she made her way to her closet, grabbing a few clothes and rushed in the bathroom.

Well, then her plan to wait for Jisoo to wake up vanquished immediately.

"Oh, Lisa!" Jennie called the younger from inside the bathroom.

"Yes, unnie?" Lisa immediately replied.

"Go to Rosie's room and see if she's already awake. If she is, tell her to look after Jisoo unnie. If not, leave her a note to do so."

"Okay!" Lisa chimed, quickly doing as what Jennie said.

p e r s o n .

It was another day at the dorm and I played some video games to ease of my boredom. We've got nothing to do for one and half weeks, just until we go back to training and work out sessions and stuff to prepare for our performances.

In the meantime, our company made us rest for a short period of time. At least, they give us some time off.

Suddenly uninterested in the game I was playing, I exited and arrived at my messages. I pouted upon seeing that Jennie-ssi still hasn't contacted me back.

I've been trying to constantly call, text, and voicemail her ever since last night, since we didn't really get to talk when we parted ways after the party yesterday.

She suddenly blurted out, "Pour water on the burnt area," for some reason. And I first thought that she was pertaining to herself, since the metaphor was used to implicit about being hurt or figuratively roasted, and that an immediate response/solution was needed.

The rest started to laugh, taking this a joke. She started to laugh it off as well. However, judging from her body movements, I can tell that she didn't mean that as a joke. Maybe she spoke her thoughts out once again.

I could tell that Jisoo, who was just besides her, was trying to comfort her by instinctively hold on to her hand.

Did . . . Jennie-ssi find what I said offensive?

And that, I tried to apologise for. I've been constantly apologising ever since last night, but she still hasn't seen my messages.

Maybe she's busy? I hope that's just the case. I hope nothing bad happened to her.

Sighing at this, I decided to randomly text Jungkook.

Hm. Maybe I'll go follow him? I mean, I've got nothing to do. And I'm in the mood to pester our dearest maknae right now.

And so, I quickly dressed up and got out of my dorm, waiting at the lobby for him. Just when I saw an elevator open, I quickly hid. My eyed followed him, and I saw him stupidly smiling on his phone like a lovestruck fool.

At that moment, I already knew who he was talking to. That maknae of ours is really quiet and reserved with us. He gives little comments. And when he's in the mood, he can be really funny and witty, too.

In terms of texting, he only sends one-to-six-word replies. He keeps it short and direct as possible, which we've eventually gotten used to.

Now, back to following Jungkook, I followed after him like a pro. He didn't even notice me all the way. And, it was a good thing that he didn't take a cab or something. He just walked, and so I got some exercise as well.

He then stopped in front of an arcade, quickly typing something on his phone.

"Awe, you're playing here by yourself?" I teased him.

He snapped his head towards me in an instant, his eyes widening at the sight of me. "Hyung, what are you doing here?"

"I followed you," I shrugged, tucking my hands in my pockets. "I mean, I've got nothing to do."

"You followed me without me noticing?" Jungkook gawked, arching an eyebrow at him. "That's creepy."

"I've got skills, I know," I wiggled my eyebrows at him, giving a light chuckle.

He then looked around, then onto gis wristwatch. "Hyung, I'm sorry if I sound offensive, but please leave."

"Hm? Why is that?" I gave a teasing laugh. "Are you hiding something from me, Kookie?"

"Hyung, it's not that but--" Jungkook licked his lips, seeming like he was generating an explanation in his head. "Hyung, please. Just this once. I'll be sure to treat you out--"

While he was talking, seemingly explaining to me, I squinted my eyes, finding a familiar figure behind Jungkook.

"Oh, is that Lisa?"

In an instant, he turned around. Lisa waved at Jungkook, with Kookie doing the same. However, Jungkook paused, his hand freezing in the air as if he was shocked of something.

Since I was quite hidden from Lisa's sight, I decided to show myself. And when I did, I immediately waved at Lisa but soon stopped upon seeing Jennie-ssi just besides her.

I saw how Jennie-ssi turned her head towards Lisa and they talked for a moment. I don't know about her, but I was just glad that nothing bad happened to her. She got me quite worried by not replying.

Once we were already face to face with each other, Lisa let out a nervous chuckle, "So, should I call Chaeng and Jimin oppa?"

"Jennie-ssi . . ." I mumbled, a small smile escaping my lips. "It's good to see you here." Really, it is. I was worried that you suffered from an anxiety attack or if you were brought to the hospital, or if you were feeling overly lonely last night.

I've been overthinking because of you, actually. But at least, you clouded my thoughts with you rather than the depressing ones.

Late night thoughts may seem good to others, but it isn't for me. My late night thoughts both scares and saddens me.

"I don't know you're coming, if that's what you're thinking," Jennie-ssi immediately explained, making me a bit confused.

I have to admit that right now, I was feeling a tad bit awkward with her, considering how she didn't answer my calls last night, nor voicemails and texts.

"So, is this a double date?" I tried to joke, but Jennie-ssi didn't smile even a bit.

Jennie-ssi and I made eye contact for a moment, with her eyes piercing towards me as if I've did something gravely unforgivable to her. And this, just made me overthink even more.

Did I say something offensive? Was she a note because I kept on calling, voicemailing, and texting her last night? Was she starting to see me as a nuisance? Does she not want to become friends with me, anymore?

"So, this is your usual spot?" Jennie-ssi turned towards Lisa, arms crossing over her chest, an eyebrow arching along with it.

To be honest, I couldn't help but notice how Jennie-ssi dressed rather simpler today. Whenever we meet up, she would wear branded clothes, and look very pretty. But now, it seemed like she just pulled random clothes from her closet and decided to wear it.

Still, I found her cute. From the very start, I did find her cute. No, not cute. Adorable. Maybe that's why I called her a little sister? Cause in my eyes, she's adorable.

But now, dressing in a more simpler manner, you wouldn't notice her clothing, you'd notice her face. I observed her, finding her more . . . pretty? Prettier, that is.

I noticed how the her hair cascaded on her shoulders, her chubby cheeks, her beautiful cat eyes.

"Yeah . . . ?" Lisa answered Jennie-ssi's question, turning into a mumble.

"The arcade?" Jennie-ssi asked once more.

"Yeah . . ." Lisa bit her bottom lip.

Jennie-ssi nodded. "I'll go shopping. I just wanted to make sure that you're in safe hands. I'm going to buy a gift for Jisoo unnie," Jennie-ssi told Lisa.

Lisa then smiled at her, "Okay, unnie. Please stay safe. Do you want me to go to the mall after this?"

Jennie-ssi nodded. "Yeah, sure. I'll text you where I am. Oh, don't worry. I already told Chaeng to tell Jisoo unnie that we went out together. But I promised them that we'll be back by ten."

"I'll go with you," I spoke up, looking at Jennie-ssi. Maybe this is a good time to reconcile with her.

"No, thanks. I can go alone," Jennie-ssi declined.

"I just crashed here, it's their hangout anyway. I have nowhere else to go," I calmly explained. I scanned her facial expression, and I knew that she was unconvinced. "And besides, I'm not the type to leave ladies alone. I'll go with you to ensure you're safe."

Jennie-ssi arched an eyebrow. "Can you note the fact that before I even met you, I've been shopping in countless malls alone? Note that I've never been in danger under those times, too. So, thanks for the offer. I'll go ahead."

She immediately left, leaving me gawking at how she coldly declined me. Okay, something was definitely wrong. This is so unlike her.

I began to pat Jungkook's shoulder. "Well, I'll go ahead."

"Huh? Where are you going?" Jungkook asked me.

"To follow her, I have a knack for following people, ya know?" I chuckled. "Gotta go before she walks too far. Bye, Kookie. Bye, Lisa!"

I then waved at them goodbye, and did the same to them. I immediately ran to follow Jennie-ssi, and I found her hailing a cab.

Just when she entered, and was about to close the door, I immediately held the door open, our eyes meeting.

Her eyes widened at the sight of me, "What are you doing here?" she scowled at me.

I chuckled, shrugging. "Going to the mall."

"Then hail your own cab, sunbaenim," she told me in a monotone voice. And somehow, this got me a bit intimidated of her.

However, I am not someone who easily gives up. "Won't it be more efficient if we take one cab together? Let's save, hm?"

I knew that she was going to protest, and so, I immediately entered the cab and slammed the door, telling the driver that we're heading to the mall.

"Going to the mall my ass," Jennie-ssi mumbled but I still heard it, and so I chuckled because of this.

"You seriously won't tell me what's going on, huh?" I drawed my eyes over her.

She looked out of the window, her arms crossed as she refused to be near me. "There's nothing wrong."

"You're lying," I told her.

"Whatever," she hissed at me.

I am actually the type that if I've already said sorry and done my part, I'll be content. And that if that person doesn't forgive me, then it's his/her choice, since I've already done my part.

Well, to be honest, I have my pride. And it's pretty high up, I don't admit my wrongdoings just as that, and I like to be in control.

So this, was really new to me. I was actually exerting an effort right now to know what the matter was, and for her to forgive me.

This is really new.

"So there is something wrong," I told her, but she didn't deny it this time.

"Can't you just leave me alone for now?" she asked me."

"Are you sure that you're not gonna tell me, first?" I asked her.

She shook her head, "No."

"Then that's my answer as well."

She finally turned her head toward me, her forehead creasing upon what I said.

"I'm a pretty persistent man, Jennie-ssi. I won't give up just as that."

t h i r d
p e r s o n .

When Taehyung says he's persistent, he means he's persistent. So, he followed Jennie inside the mall, going in and out of the stores, uncertain of what to buy Jisoo.

She would ask Taehyung, but she's still crossed with him.

And so, she decided to go back from the stores she went into earlier and buy whatever, instead. When she was at the second store, with Taehyung still tailing behind her, a sales clerk then approached her.

"Looking for something for your boyfriend over there, ma'am?" the sales clerk asked with a bright smile.

Jennie could only thank the heavens that she and Taehyung were wearing masks and caps, or else, they could've been recognised right away.

"Oh, he's not my boyfriend," Jennie quickly declined.

Suddenly, Jennie rubbed her tummy, pouting upon remembering that she didn't eat any proper breakfast. She then continued to look around the store, finding a specific item for Jisoo.

She didn't ask for any further help from the sales clerk since she didn't really like social interactions, that much. To be honest, Jennie was a somewhat introvert at times, since she has social anxiety at times like this.

Continuing to look around, she couldn't help but notice that no one was bugging her about saying that this and that were pretty. And so, she turned around, just to see that Taehyung wasn't their behind her, anymore.

Persistent my ass, Jennie thought to herself, which she successfully didn't blurt out this time. She should be happy that he would no longer bother her, anymore. Well, she doesn't want to see him, right? She's basically crossed with him.

However, in all honesty, she felt disappointed.

"Whatever," Jennie told herself as she managed to find the specific item she was looking for, taking it to the cashier to pay for it.

>><<

Jennie was already at her fifth store, and she's already got at least seven shopping bags on her arms. Well, besides shopping for Jisoo, she also shopped some clothes for herself. It was her only reward for herself, anyway.

Once she got out of the fifth store, she managed to find Taehyung at the opposite side, carrying a paperbag of whatever it was.

She stood there, her brows furrowing in confusion as she wae mentally asking herself why he was still there. However, in complete honesty, she was a bit glad that he was still there and he didn't leave her.

Taehyung turned his head at her direction as if by instinct, smiling widely as he finally spotted her. He speed-walked towards her, taking four of the shopping bags from her arm.

She tried to decline his help, but his grip seemed to implement a source of authority, and so he just let her. A man that has an authority over her? Oh, how she finds that attractive.

He then lent her the paperbag he was holding earlier, quickly taking the last three shopping bags from her other arm.

"Why are you still here?" Jennie asked, acting as if she was irritated of him.

Taehyung then use his lips to point at the paperbag Jennie was now holding, since his arms and hands were occupied by holding Jennie's shopping bags.

Jennie slowly opened the paper bag. "You haven't eaten yet, have you?" he asked her. And there, she saw two milkshakes and two chocolate pies.

"A milkshake and a chocolate pie?" Jennie's forehead creased. "What an odd pairing."

"Sometimes, the pairs that are unimaginable end up being great together," Taehyung quoted what Jennie had told him the last time.

Somehow, this made Jennie's heart flutter. He actually remembered her words. It feels nice.

"Where to next?" Taehyung enthusiastically asked.

"Oh, uh . . . Prada," Jennie gently said.

Taehyung nodded, leading the way. Jennie tailed behind him, softy mumbling, "Thanks . . ."

Taehyung smiled to himself, overhearing this, and pretended that he didn't. He was sure that she didn't want him to overhear, anyway.

After two more stores, Jennie finally ate the chocolate pie and sipped onto the milkshake that Taehyung had bought for her. She noticed that he still didn't insist on eating his yet, and so, she took his milkshake out, putting the straw in and extended her arm, positioning it in front of him.

Taehyung peered his eyes over her, his browd lifting up with her action. "Drink up," she told him, looking away.

Taehyung couldn't help but smile at this, "Does this mean we're cool now?"

"No," Jennie curtly answered. "Just drink up."

With a sigh, Taehyung did as she said.

>><<

The two were finally on their way home. Taehyung carried about eleven shopping bags already. And so, Jennie insisted to carry five of them. However, Taehyung disagreed.

In the end, Jennie managed to convince him to carry at least three. As they were walking, they then saw a store that had BLACKPINK as models.

"Woah, you all look good," Taehyung praised, stopping to admire the standees for a moment.

Jennie hesitated to bring it up since there's a large possibility that it'd hurt her, however, she took her chances to know his thoughts. "And Lisa?"

"Gorgeous," Taehyung commented. "I really like your maknae, Jennie-ssi. Got some advice?"

Jennie felt a tiny crack on her heart upon hearing this from him. Of course, he still highly admired their royal maknae.

"Tell her if you like her that much," Jennie sarcastically muttered.

Taehyung then turned towards Jennie, just to find her already walking away from him.

Taehyung quick followed her, noticing that she was once again pissed.

Jungkook and Lisa arrived at the mall, coincidentally spotting Jennie and Taehyung together. Taehyung was still following Jennie around, and she was annoyed. And when she's annoyed, she really is annoyed.

Jennie immediately snaked her arms around Lisa the moment she spotted the blonde. Taehyung was supposed to tail around her again, however, Jennie pointed a finger at him. "No! You won't take another step."

Taehyung, who felt helpless, voluntarily raised his hands in defeat. Jungkook patted the elder's shoulder to give a little comfort.

"C'mon, Jennie. Why won't you tell me what's wrong?" Taehyung was almost desperate to find out. For him, friendship breakups are worse than a couple breakup. He didn't want to lose Jennie, she's been nothing but a very good friend to him.

"I told you, nothing's wrong. I just hate to see you. Isn't that enough?"

"Red flag?" Jungkook mumbled to himself, thinking that it may be the reason.

Jennie, who had a surprising strong sense of hearing, overheard him. She glared at Jungkook, teeth clenching. "I am not on my period!" Jennie inveighed, a death glare swarming through her eyes, causing Jungkook gulp.

Jungkook involuntarily hid behind Taehyung who stood up straight, still looking at Jennie with his brows knitted. He looked eager-or maybe desperate-to reconcile with her.

He even apologised over and over albeit not knowing what he did wrong. Take note that he was a prideful man - only to the people that didn't matter or wasn't that important to him.

"Let's just call it a day, okay?" Lisa insisted, grabbing whatever Jennie's carrying like a gentlewoman. Noticing Lisa's action, Taehyung immediately scooted towards Lisa and presented to carry it instead.

At first, Jungkook thought that Taehyung was doing it for Jennie. But then, he noticed how Taehyung smiled at the blonde, that same smile that he gave her when he asked her number.

The four were already in front of BLACKPINK's dorm, ready to bid their goodbyes. Taehyung returned the shopping bags to Jennie with an eager smile, but Jennie ignored it.

"Uh, Lisa?" Taehyung called her, quickly catching her attention. "Can we talk?"

Lisa's brows rose up, glancing at Jennie and Jungkook for a moment to see their reactions. "We're talking, aren't we?" Lisa decided to joke.

"I mean in private, I have something to tell you--"

"Why can't you tell her while we're here?" Jungkook wae quick to butt in. Taehyung's jaw clenched for a moment, of course the younger would disapprove.

Taehyung inhaled deeply, still keeping the same smile he had for Lisa. "Okay, if y'all insist," he shrugged. "I like you, Lalisa Manoban. Not as a bias, but as a person. I really like you."

"Fucking what?"

All heads turned to Jennie, who was apparently confused amidst that suppose-to-be romantic confession. "Y-you like her?" Jennie gulped, tears forming in her eyes. Since it was dark, they hardly could see it, though.

"O-oppa . . ." Lisa mumbled, eyes not meeting with his. She fiddled with her jacket, unable to mutter another word.

He glanced at Jungkook, hoping to get some help. But all she received was a cold stare. The same cold stare he gave her at their first meeting. She loathed to see Jungkook stare at her like that, she felt like he hated her. Lisa's eyes pleaded Jungkook to help her, but no, he didn't.

Jungkook poked his tongue against his cheek and looked at Taehyung, unpleased. "I have to go," he excused himself. Taehyung turned his head, about to talk to him but Jungkook cut him off. "No, hyung. I won't walk home with you. I . . . wanna be alone tonight. But I promise to come back by nine, we have schedule tomorrow, I'm well-aware of that. Bye."

Jennie bit her bottom lip, still trying her best to act tough. "You can't like Lali," Jennie firmly told him. "Why does it have to be her? Why in all people?"

Lisa remained quiet, observing how Jungkook's figure slowly faded as he walked away. Somehow, she felt guilty. "I ask myself that, too," Taehyung chuckled, but he smiled.

A sincere smile. A smile that Jennie would melt for. A smile that she would love to give him. But he never did.

Only Lisa can do that to him. She thought, suppressing her tears from flowing.

"Don't worry, Jennie-ssi. If you're concerned that I'm just going to play with her, I won't. I am sincere about how I feel for Lisa. I'll wait for her," Taehyung's gaze darted towards Lisa who looked straight on the pavement beneath them. "I know you don't like me yet, but I promise to do my best to prove myself."

Lisa's head automatically tilted up upon hearing those words.

"Go home," Jennie ordered.

"Unnie--" Lisa tried to stop her.

"Jen, I get that you're mad at me. But please, I'm sincere--"

"I told you to go home, didn't I?!" Jennie bursted. If he doesn't scram in under one minute, he'd see her in tears already. "Just do it, Kim Taehyung! Fucking leave!"

Taehyung felt helpless, sighing. He glanced at Lisa who didn't dare to look at him. He felt dejected. "Okay," Taehyung nodded, obeying Jennie as he took one last glance at Lisa.

Once Taehyung completely left, Lisa wasted no time and immediately held Jennie's hand. "I know nothing about this--"

"That's the problem, Lisa," Jennie finally bursted, all her emotions suddenly swivelling around her heart. Tears started flowing down her cheeks, which she quickly wiped. "You know nothing about this. I wish you did. I damn wish you did."

Jennie ran her fingers through her hair, continuing to cry like crazy. Lisa wanted to hug her, but she grew reluctant. She felt like she was suddenly distant.

"If you knew, then I wouldn't have to let my guard down. I wouldn't tell myself that it was okay to be close with him. If you knew, you would've told me, and I wouldn't like him. I damn wish that you knew from the start. I fucking do, Lisa." Jennie continued to wipe her tears. "You've taken his heart--a thing that I couldn't do over the past few months. But you, wow! You did that without even trying. How, Lisa? Can you teach me?"

Lisa was close to tearing up. Seeing Jennie in that state wasn't easy for her, she wanted to comfort her. But how? Was she in the position to do so?

"You can't?" Jennie bitterly chuckled, nodding. It almost seemed like she was insane. "Why . . . does it have to be you? My own bestfriend? Why you?"

And in a blink of an eye, Lisa found Jennie already entering the building, leaving her speechless.

>><<

"Fucking fucker!"

Rosie and Jisoo immediately turned their heads, just to see Jennie basically cursing her way to her room. She slammed the door, leaving everyone silent. The two darted their heads towards Lisa, who was apparently frozen still, guilty as ever.

Jennie leaned on her dorm, biting her bottom lip. No, don't cry. You're strong. She true to comfort herself.

She then slowly made her way to her bed, kneeling in front of it and buried her face onto the sheets, suddenly unable to control her emotions.

Just then, she heard a gentle knock on her door. "Jen, it's me," she overheard Jisoo's voice. "Can you open the door? Let's talk."

Jennie didn't reply. But instead, she cried her heart even more.
