It's been two years since I became Alpha. My father passed over Alpha to me once I turned 18. It's been a year since I've married Emma. Emma is not my mate, but she is the prettiest girl in the pack. So of course being the alphas son we dated. We love each other and are hoping to adopt a baby soon. The one thing that sucks about not being mates is that only mates can have a baby together. At 17 Emma found her mate and rejected him. Now where just waiting on me to find mine and reject her. It will be a simple, 'I Drake Owen Spencer, reject you, blah blah blah as my mate'. Super simple. My pack 'The Moonlight Pack' is the strongest around. We train all the time and still have fun. I walk out of my office, down the stairs to the kitchen to see my lovely Luna making lunch. I walk up behind her and kiss her cheek.
"Thanks for making lunch babe. Everyone loves you so much." I whisper into her ear. She nods and continues working hard. Once I went away for a week and my Third in Command told me she made pregnant woman wash the floors and made the guy please her. I banished him from the pack. There's no way my Emma would do that! I walk down to my room and grab my traveling suitcase. I have to go meet with another alpha. I walk back downstairs and grab my passport.
"I'll be back tomorrow afternoon love.." I say to Emma, kissing her cheek. She turns and we have a full on make out session. I would love to take her to bed right now but I have to go. I pull away and kiss her forehead. I walk out and get into an awaiting SUV we drive to the airport which is a good hour away. Did I mention we live in the middle of a forest. Away from humans. I get to the airport and walk in. The driver leaves and I sit down then my phone rings.
"Hello, this is Drake." I amswer.
"Hey Drake, its Alpha Mark, We settled the rouge situation, I no longer need your assistance." He says.
"Okay thanks for calling, call me if you ever need me." I say hanging up. I walk out and get a taxi. It drops me off at the woods edge. I mind link a pack member to come grab my suitcase while I shift and run. I run home and shift. It's around 11 now. A random pack member hands me shorts and I walk inside. I hear loud moaning coming from upstairs. I also don't live in the pack house. My house is across from it. Only me and Emma live here. I quickly mask my scent and slowly creep up the stairs. The guest bedroom door is open. I peek through to see Emma and Hank, a warrior, having sex. I growl loudly and both sit up and stare at me shocked. Hank jumps out the window.
'Escort Hank off our lands, he is here by banished from our pack!' I mind link my toughest men. I look back at Emma who is now in a night gown.
"The rumors were true. You are a cheater. I will have you sign these papers and you will be banished to!" I yell loudly. I link the lawyer in our pack and he comes rushing in with divorce papers. She's slowly sighs them and I do to. Then my beta and new third in command come in.
"Escort her out!" I growl. She lowers her head and they take her out. I walk outside and decide to go on patrol. I howl in pain the moment I shift. The bond broke the second she left our lands. The mark I gave her is now dissapeared. I continue running the border, howling here and there to release some pain.
~Crystals POV~
I kept running for days! I finally stop and look at my paw. It's healed but still does not feel the best. I lay down, hungry and weak. I need a meal but I'm to weak to get anything. I'm gonna die. I whimper at the thought. I get back up and walk the edge of the town, its late at night maybe 1 am. Nobody's around. I smell a Mc Donald's yes! Human food. I walk down the side of the road until I see two people about to throw a big Mack into a dumpster. I whimper at the thought. I won't be able to get it then. Their eyes look at me in shock. They freeze and I whimper again nodding at the food.
"Are you hungry?" The girl asks. I nod and whimper again laying down. She slowly walks up to me and sets it down in front of me. I slowly start to eat it. Oh god! Its sooo good. I finish it and attempt to smile at the lady. She grabs the guys fries and puts them in her hands. I use my tongue and lick them out of her hand. She giggles.
"Babe its like a pet! Can we keep her?" She asks the dude.
"Obviously not. People would find out and put her down." He says.
"Well tomorrow night we should come back and see if she's still here. Then we can help feed her. She's obviously to weak to hunt. Look at her shes so beautiful but so skinny." She comments looking over my underweight body. I lick her hand that is now at her side to thank her and trot off. I walk deep into the woods to stay hidden. I hear a loud howl. One of pain. Another pack! Maybe they'll accept me! I run in that direction until I come across some wolves drinking at a creak. These are not normal wolfs.... They are fucking huge! I turn around and step on a twig they turn to see me and growl. They sniff the air and must realize I'm a regular wolf, not a threat. They walk towards me and circle me. The gray one starts smelling my sex and I snarl. I slash him across the face with my paw and he growls. So I run. Like always. I could take down a regular alpha but no way a werewolf. I ran back towards Washington. I ran for a half hour before stopping to camp out. I laid down in a tree trunk thats opened up at the bottom. I lay there until a few deer star eating the grass near the tree. I see a baby buck all alone off to my left. I slowly come out from the trunk and walk behind the tree. I walk behind the trees until I'm right behind the baby. He perks his ears up and thats when I took my chance. I pounced on him making his whole body fall. I quickly bite into his neck getting a major vessel. I feel a sharp pain in my back legs to see the momma kicking me. I try to run but can't. I end up limping away. I watch from a distance at the momma grieves over her baby. After that I heard a loud howl and the deer all took off. Leaving the baby body for me to eat. I limp back to it and dig it. I hate this food. I learned to finally keep it down after my first two months but it's still very nasty. I finally finish eating what I can as I pull the body to my tree trunk. I stuff it in the tree trunk so coyotes or foxes can't get to it. I lay down right in front of it and rest. I wake up to low growls. Shit. I look up to see a pack of coy dogs. Damn it! I growl in defense but there having none of it. I stand up and bare my canines releasing a low murderous growl. Which still doesn't phase them. I scan over them. There's 7 of them. There smaller than me but there's more of them. I snap my teeth showing them I'm not playing. One of them to my left nips at my hind leg. I turn and growl at it loudly. Then another one takes a chance and bites into my leg hard. Then another pain shoots through my back and a few more. I howl in pain wishing they would stop. I fall to the ground and they continue trying to kill me. One goes after my neck and thats when I hear it. I loud menacing growl. Shit. A werewolf. I feel the coyotes let go off me and whimper. I hear thudding paws and they take off. I whimper in pain. Oh god. Let me die! This hurts like a bitch! Wait I can't die I have to go back for the pups! I look up to see a huge black wolf. Like mega huge! Like almost the size of a freakin horse! I'm like an ant compared to him. He looks over my body. I hear a whimper come from him. I look up into his eyes. Protectiveness, pain, guilt. What the fuck..... I slowly try to get up but my legs give out from all the pain. I hear paws thudding coming towards us. I look to my left so see the gray one and a brown one. Shit! I whimper and try to crawl away. The black one growls again and I freeze. I hear bones cracking and I look back to see an attractive guy! Like a god! Oh man. The other two shift and they all put on shorts.
"I had an encounter with her earlier she is the one who slashed me across my face." The guy who was the gray wolf, growls. I whimper and god like dude spoke up.
"Get the pack doctor to check her out. Shes a lone wolf. Shes needs help. We can make her an enclosure and if she turns out not to be aggressive we can let her roam." He says picking me up. I feel pain all over my body it hurts to much. I let out a loud squeal like whimper. The god dude let out a sigh and carried me into a small house. He lays me on the floor in the living room, when an old man came in and took in my appearance.
"Alpha Drake." He says bowing. So the god like man is named is Drake. It so suits him. The doctor walks over and looks over my wounds.
"Could be at least a weak for these to heal. She's not gonna like me." He mutters. He pulls out a few things and puts a needle in my arm. I let out a loud whimper and lay my head down. The fucker gave me a shot! Then he puts another needle in me and draws blood. Oh gross oh my god my blood! I feel myself get dizzy and before I knew it I was asleep.
I woke up in a room with a door shut. The doctor sitting in a chair reading a bunch of papers. I perk my head up and he looks over at me.
"Why do you have Human DNA. Your not a were." He says crouching in front of me. I nod my head and whimper.
"Your a human?" He asks quietly. I nod my head again. He looks at me confused.
"I need to tell alpha Drake. You must be under a spell!" He says louder. I let out a bark to get his attention, he looks back to me and I shake my head.
"You don't want me to tell him?" He asks. I shake my head no again.
"Well okay, but when you decide you want me to come find me. Or act sick and I'll come see you." He says walking out. I them realize I have to pee. Shit. I begin to claw and whine at the door until some guy walks in and opens it. Oh its Drake.
"Whats the matter sweetie, gotta go potty?" He asks. I run past him and find the front door open, I run out it and run into the woods and relieve myself. Ahhhh much better. I trot into the woods deeper. I need to get those pups back! I keep walking until drakes wolf is in front of me. Uhhhhh whats he doing. He lets out a angrily growl and picks my up by my scruff. I whine and try to kick out of his hold, but nope, he's way to strong! We walk to his house and he shifts.
"Your my baby now. You already have your own enclosure!" He says excitedly.
How the hell did they makes on this quick. Wait how long was I out. He walks into the room I was in before with the big huge dog bed. Well it was more like a futon mattress on the floor. Something was different. There was a doggie door that was my size... I walk through it and I come face to face with a huge sized enclosure. Well more like it was a chain link fence that was high and had a roof. I smiled. I'll be fed, be comfy and not have to worry about my safety. Shit the pups. I run back into the room and see Drake looking at me. I whine at him and nudge him to follow me. He opens the doors to get outside and shifts. The gray wolf and brown behind him. I race through the woods with my legs feeling so much better. I race through the woods for a few hours. Stoping here and there for a drink at a creak. Then we came across it. The guys house. I walk around seeing only 1 car in the drive way. Okay only the old man is here. I pace the length of the house listening for the pups. Then I hear it. Not from the house. The barn! I race towards it and break the door down. In a pen in the back were the pups. They were a white and black mix so people could possibly think there mine. I scratched at the fence post. I heard a little whimper. I gave a reassuring bark to them. Then I heard a bunch of happy barks. I look back to see Drake and his friends now as humans in clothes. They look in the pen and smile.
"Are these your pups?" The gray wolf guy asks. I bark signaling a yes. Hey what if I said no? Would they help me save them? I highly doubt it. Drake lifts the three puppies out and sets them down in front of me. They all run around me and bark happily. I lick all of their heads and finally feel at ease. There safe. Then I hear that last thing. The sound of cars coming down the driveway, my ears perk up and I stalk over to the barn door. I see the hunters cars and I growl. The pups hide under me and Drake and his friends pick up the pups and walk out. I follow behind keeping my eyes on the trucks. The guys jump out and start yelling at Drake to set the wolves down. Drake and his buddies take off running in human form, but me. I needed revenge. I growled menacingly at the guys when the old man came out yelling.
"Oh the prize is back. I had a feeling they were her pups." He says laughing pulling out a tranquilizer. I growl at him, I prepare to pounce but the gun that was in his hands is now on the ground while the old man is on his back on the ground, Drake on top of him.
"Don't touch her, shes my wolf. The pack you killed were owned by me. They were my study! She came running back to me and we found her pups. Your lucky I don't call the cops. Hunting wolves are illegal. Now take your kids go inside and never touch another wolf again." Drake snaps. I notice the pup he was holding of mine not in his hands anymore and I whine. He looks back to me and smiles.
"Your pups are already home eating love. Let's go." He says walking into the woods. We take off running all the way home. He opens the outside enclosure door and lets me in. He's shuts it and locks it behind me. I scan the outside of my pen. Nothing. I run inside and all of them were sleeping. I looked over to see 4 huge bowls filled with deer meat. I eat a few bites before cuddling up with the pups. No one will touch them. I promise.
I wake up to the pups jumping on me. I open my eyes and they start licking my face. I stand up and stretch out my legs. I look over to see food in the dishes. Mmmm food, I walk over to the big dish and start choking down the fresh meat. Mmmm venison sooo good. After I eat I walk out the doggie door and go to spot on the grass and do my business. Much better. The sun is shining and I decide to run a bit. I run around the pen a few times before laying down in the soft grass to relax. The moment I'm laying I get tackled by the wolves. I hear a chuckling and look over to see Drake and a few other buff guys laughing. I walk to the fence near them and growl. They look at me confused. I may be slightly bi polar... I don't like people laughing at me. Not before, not now, not ever. Drake looks down at me with hurt in his eyes. Is he hurt I growled at him? He opens the cage and comes in, locking it behind him. He pulls off his clothes and shifts into a huge black wolf. He growls at me, he wants me to submit, yeah right! I may be small but I'm not gonna submit to him! I snarl at him and bare my teeth, the pups come over and copy me. There not really pups anymore, there a few inches smaller than me. If they were humans they would be pre teens. Drake snarls at me the the pups get in front of me protectively. He snarls at them and the two females submit, but the male one doesn't he bites drakes ankle. Drake goes for his neck and I attack. I lunge at him and bite his neck hard. I taste blood and release. I back up growling and snarling at him. He looks at me with shock. I nudge the male behind me and get into a protective stance. He shakes his big ass wolf head and a small growl escapes his mouth one last time. I snarl again and he does a wolf grin. He pounces on me and pins me to the ground. I bite at his snout and he whimpers a tee bit covering it with a growl. The pups start attacking him, biting his legs and tail. He jumps off and they get back behind me. Drake shifts back and throws on his shorts.
"Your a bitch! Ugh stupid wolf why won't you fucking submit!" He yells loudly. He angrily leaves the pen and locks it behind him. I watch him take off into a full blown out run. His friends follow him and I look around the pen for the shirt he never put back on. I find it near the door, I snatch it up with my teeth and trot inside. I lay down and fall asleep.
While I was sleeping I heard someone come in and put food in the dishes.mi ignored it and went back to bed. I finally wake up fully. I got to stretch my legs and paws to feel weird while standing on all four. I look down to see arms.
"Yes!" I whisper. The pups wake up and growl at me. I back up against the wall. The sniff me and relax coming and cuddling with me. Oh gosh! I need to get out of here! I grab the shirt from last night and put it over my tiny body. I grin as I open the door, slipping through I walk down the hall to the kitchen. Real food! I open the fridge to see a pizza box. I open the box and take out a piece of pizza. Eating in within 2 minutes a walk out the door. It's probably 4 am. I take off running stretching my human legs. I run the way towards Mc Donald's. I get to the tree line after an hour. I look over my body. The shirt goes down to my knees, my body is dirty and I have leaves in my hair from falling twice. I run my fingers through my hair getting the leaves and nots out. I walk onto the road and walk through the small town. Then as I turn the corner I see Lisa the witch. She looks over me and smiles happily.
"Finally I've been watching over you for the past two years, here hun unless you want to be apart of the werewolf life you need to keep this ring on. It masks your scent. I also made papers saying your my grand daughter. We will be living in Seattle Washington. Thats 10 minutes from here. I already have clothes there for you." She says putting a ring on my ring finger. I look at her confused as hell.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked.
"I figured your mom would beg me to turn you back after a day or two but she didn't shes cruel. So I decided I would look after you." She says with guilt in her voice.
"Uh okay." I say as she pulls me towards a BMW. Damn. We get in the car and we set off for my new home. After a quick silent ride we pull up to a big sized house.
"Your room is on the second floor, along with a sleep over space. I had is designed for a teens house pretty much. The first floor is the kitchen, living room, a bathroom and my room, which has a built in bathroom. The second floor has your room, with a built in bathroom that is quite large, a huge room full of couches and beds, there's a huge t.v, a mini fridge and a bunch of video games. You also have a phone, laptop and Ipad upstairs on your bed." She says smiling. I hug her tightly whispering thank you over and over again. I finally pull away and we walk into the house. The house is so beautiful!
"Wait Lisa, I don't have any friends...." I says with a sad tone.
"That is why I am giving you your own credit card and a motor cycle. You are going to the mall tomorrow." She says grabbing a pizza box out of the fridge and handing it to me.mi thank her and run up the stairs. I check out the sleepover room first. Its just like she said. Its amazing! I walk across the hall to a door with a sign. Crystal's Room. I open it up and the first think that catches my eyes is my bed. Its a king sized bed with purple pillows, sheets and a huge comforter. I walk over and pick up the phone. I start adding music to it right off, also going on YouTube and listening to new music. I lay down and start eating the pizza. Soon after I fall asleep, knowing I now have the perfect life.
