CONTAINS MINOR FLUFF, ANGST & HUMOR

_

The object my head was resting on shifted, my body falling forward until it fell upon something soft, worn, and cushioned. I groaned, my nails digging into the cushioned object beneath my head, fatigue forcing my eyelids to remain shut. Something snaked around the side of my torso, and I welcomed its warm, comforting embrace. A hollow moan rumbled underneath me and I pressed my face harder against the cushion.

     "Mmppphhh."

Something tightened around my waist and I groaned louder in protest. At the sound that rose from my throat, I felt everything underneath me stiffen, my eyes flying open in alarm. I was lying on a person; it was an arm that was draped over my waist, my head resting on someone's thighs.

     "What-"

     "Get up."

I felt around for something solid, my hands numb and tingly from lying on them, before pushing myself up. I turned my head to the side and glared sleepily in the direction of the voice, my vision grey and blurry. Hot breath wafted directly into my face and I blew a desperate breath of air through my nose. Eventually, my vision cleared and to my dismay, I found Jungkook glaring back at me.

"You?" I muttered, sitting back on the heels of my feet.

"You." Jungkook rolled his eyes, running a hand through his long, dark hair. He extended his arms high above his head, his back cracking as he arched it away from the couch. I watched his cat-like behavior quietly, my eyelids heavy. "Did you touch me?" I croaked, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. Jungkook stiffened, slowly shoving his hands into the front pocket of his sweatshirt. He glared sideways at me and I pursed my lips at him, tucking my hands in the underside of my shirt.

"Well it wasn't the dogs," he snapped, narrowing his eyes slightly in my direction.

I snorted, falling back against the arm of the couch. I hesitantly slipped my legs out from beneath me and laid them across Jungkook's lap, shutting my eyes against the lights of the living room. I felt Jungkook's hands shift beneath me, one hand wrapping around my ankle and squeezing.

"You're touching me," I grumbled, flicking my foot out of his grasp.

"You're in my space," he retorted, scooping both of my feet off his lap and onto the floor. I grunted as the weight of my legs threatened to tug me off the couch, opening my eyes to glare at the man in front of me. "Your hyungs ever tell you that you're salty as fuck?" I growled, picking myself up and onto the couch, curling up in the blanket that had fallen off my shoulders in my sleep. Jungkook looked over at me, his eyes flitting from my face to my torso and back.

"What does that have to do with you lusting after me?"

I growled under my breath, scrunching my nose in disgust. "Not a chance big guy."

"I mean I am pretty big, but I don't see what that has to do with what we're discussing at the moment."

I reached behind me and grabbed a pillow, swinging it down on Jungkook's coconut shaped head. He gasped, my childish attack unexpected. Pulling the pillow to my chest, I glared irritably at him; his comment was unneeded and he deserved to be smacked for it. "You're a dick."

Jungkook only smirked at me, snatching the pillow out of my hands and tossing it on the floor. I watched the little couch pillow bounce once before lolling over on its side in the center of the living room floor. I sighed, leaning against the side of the couch. Jungkook bent his head down to look at me, flashing a bratty grin in my direction. "You know you love me, princess."

My eyes snapped up to meet his, tears building up behind my eyes. Almost immediately Jungkook dropped his smile, cocking his head to the side. "What's wro-"

"D-don't ever call me that again," I mumbled, backing away. Jungkook caught my wrist before I could move far enough away, tugging at it lightly. He lowered his head and peered up at my face trying to catch my gaze. I refused to look at him; the way he jokingly uttered the word "princess" almost made my heart stop. "Just don't call me that again, please."

Jungkook's hand snaked up my arm until his fingers clutched my chin, lifting my gaze to meet his. His facial expression couldn't have been less obvious; this was the last thing he wanted to be concerning himself with on a Friday evening, but behind his visible boredom was a sliver of concern. "Take pity on my poor soul, why don't ya?" I muttered heatedly, pushing Jungkook's hand away from my face.

"Look, Yumin." Jungkook turned his body to face mine. I furrowed my brow, lowering my head weakly and staring up at him. I could tell he was trying to be kinder towards me, but he still scared the fuck out of me. "If you're going to be living here, you've gotta get used to telling me when something's wrong."

"The hell do you mean 'if you're going to be living here'?" I perplexed, drawing a hand over my eyes to force the tears to stop trying to escape. "I thought you wanted me to leave?"

"I'm not letting you go back to your apartment, so you're going to have to stay here," said Jungkook, running a hand over his hair and glancing at the ceiling.

"You...but, why!?" I faltered, anxiously picking at my hands.

"I might seem like an asshole, but I'm not, okay?"

Jungkook's tone took me by surprise, my eyes widening slowly. He watched my face for a moment before we both jumped at the sound of keys jiggling in the apartment's lock. Without thinking, my hands shot out to hold onto his forearm. Jungkook slowly turned towards the door, and we both waited for it to open.

"-with saltwater. You shouldn't have been screamin' your ass off anyway," Jimin chuckled, stepping inside the apartment. Taehyung followed in after him, his lips pulled back tight in a frown, hands shoved deep into his oversized pants.

"How is saltwater going to help my voice cracks?" Taehyung pondered.

     "It won't. It'll just-"

Jimin paused in the middle of the hallway, one foot raised mid-step. His gaze jumped from me to Jungkook and back, his face clouded with confusion. Taehyung stepped up beside his hyung, glaring down at me.

"You're still here?" he seethed, narrowing his eyes.

"I g-guess?" I stuttered, beginning to shake a little. I opened my mouth wider to continue speaking, but Taehyung cut me off, directing his words towards Jungkook.

"Why is she still here, Jungkook? Don't tell me you're going all soft on her like Jimin."

Jimin rolled his eyes, hooking the Bentley's keys back on their hook above the kitchen counter and walking over to sit beside me on the couch. I kept my gaze fixated on Taehyung, a bit startled at how aggressive his reaction was to see me still in the apartment. Jungkook pushed himself to his feet, giving me a quick glance before addressing Taehyung.

     "I'm not going soft, hyung."

"Then why is she still here? You drove her home and yet she's sitting on our couch." He turned towards me, his hands now on his hips. "If this was just a leisurely visit, you can leave now." His hand shot out to point in the direction of the door.

I recoiled a bit in alarm, my back pressing up against Jimin's shoulder. The aggression in Taehyung's voice must've alerted the dogs; Yeontan and the white Shepherd trodded out into the hallway, the Shepherd letting out a low howl under her breath as she stretched. I watched them as a distraction, not wanting to relive what had occurred back at the apartment just to explain my presence.

"Now," Taehyung growled, taking a step towards me.

I pushed myself off the couch and farther away from him, stepping out into the center of the living room. Surprisingly, Jungkook stepped in front of me, stuffing his hands casually into the pocket of his sweatshirt, head lolling to the side. Taehyung stared at me, his upper lip raised in a snarl of disgust.

"Tae, calm down," Jimin breathed, draping his arm over the back of the couch. "I'm sure there's a reason she's still here."

"Obviously she wants you Jimin," Taehyung scoffed, balling his fists at his side. "You can see it in her eyes. In the way she holds herself around you. And she's starting to get comfy around Jungkook too. She needs to go."

"Excuse you!" I retaliated, stomping my foot angrily on the floor.

"Enough!" Jungkook shouted. "She's not fucking leaving!"

Everything went quiet. Taehyung's face went slack. Jimin's gaze was glued to the younger's frame, his posture rigid. Nervous, I fisted my hand in the back of Jungkook's hoody. He didn't acknowledge me as he continued to speak. "If you think she's going back to that doped up piece of shit, you're fucked up Tae. She's staying here until she gets a new apartment far from Yura and that's final! I don't want to hear another fucking word from you about her staying here, you hear me?"

Taehyung didn't speak for a moment. I could see him collecting his thoughts as he looked down at me and held my gaze. Looking back up at Jungkook, he shook his head slowly and asked, "What happened?"

Jungkook glanced back at me, then to Taehyung, shaking his head and muttering,  "Not right now."

Taehyung nodded in understanding and walked around the front of the couch. Quietly, he embraced the youngest, burying his face into the crook of his neck. Jungkook wrapped his arms around his hyung's waist, pulling him close with a sigh. Mindlessly, I left the room, making my way down the hall and into Jimin's room. I felt like I was about to break down into tears, but, I had no intention of doing so in front of the others. Just as I was about to shut the door, the white Shepherd pushed her muzzle through the crack in the door, whimpering as she tried to force her way inside to get to me. I laughed half-heartedly, letting her inside before I shut the door completely.

"Fuck," I grumbled, flopping down on my bed. I buried my face into the cool fabric of the pillow, sighing loudly in hopes it would release some pent up frustration. Tears began to soak into the pillowcase. My legs curled up against my stomach and I let my body roll to the side, mentally and physically exhausted. My head began to pound where Yura had hit me; I traced a finger over the bandage Jungkook had placed against it when the bleeding had subsided.

     "Yumin-ah?"

A line of light opened up in the darkness of the room. Sniffling, I wiped the tears off of my face and sat up, my hair messily obscuring my face. The white Shepherd released a low, warning growl as Jimin stepped into the room and shut the door behind him. "Nari, shush," he scolded, tapping her head as he walked passed. I kept my gaze locked on the edge of the bed and Jimin quietly sat down beside me, resting his elbows on his knees and leaning forward to peer across at me. He slid a finger under my chin, turning my face so that I could look in his direction.

     "What's wrong?"

"Why do you care?" I mumbled, breaking eye contact.

     "Because I care about you."

I scoffed. "That's what they all say. Besides," I pulled my face away from his hand. "You don't even know me well enough to care about me."

"So? It's not a rule that you have to be close to someone to care about them."

My heart rate slowed a bit and I gave Jimin a quick glance. He looked genuinely concerned, his fingernails dug into the fabric of his light grey jeans. I sighed, shutting my eyes and pressing my forehead against his shoulder. "Don't worry about it," I mumbled.

"That doesn't work on me, sweetheart. You're going to have to explain to me what's wrong with you and why Jungkook wants you to stay here when less than 8 hours ago he wanted you as far away from us as possible."

"Isn't it obvious?" I mumbled sarcastically. "He's fallen for my charms."

Jimin blew air through his nose, attempting a half-hearted smile. "Well, obviously. But, that's not all of it."

I felt his hand slide over my shoulder and rest on my neck and I let it stay there. Jimin was the only one concerned without any hint of aggression towards me. I lifted my head, resting my chin against his shoulder and peering up at him. His eyes were soft and welcoming; the longer I stared into them, the less upset I became.

"Tell me if it gets too boring," I smiled sheepishly.

Jimin returned the smile, his eyes shining brightly in the darkness of the bedroom.

"I swear to god, Koo if you say bibimbap one more time..."

     "Bibimbap!"

     "That's it."

Taehyung pushed himself off the couch, flinging his legs around Jungkook's waist and pulling him back against the arm of the couch. Jungkook struggled for a few moments, shoving against the older's stomach and thighs before giving up, his whole body going slack, like wet ramen. I giggled, watching them fondly from the opposite side of the couch.

"Hey!" Jungkook shouted at me. "I helped you, now you help me." He extended his arms uselessly in front of his face. Taehyung wrapped his legs tighter around Jungkook's frame, slipping his hands down the front of his chest.

"You're not leaving. I told you to stop, but you wouldn't. Now you're mine." Taehyung chuckled lightly as he spoke, making Jungkook grin wildly.

"I was already yours in the first place, Kim."

Taehyung scrunched his nose, smacking Jungkook across the chest. "Don't be fucking rude."

Jungkook only rolled his eyes with a smile, leaning back against Taehyung's midsection. I watched the couple for a moment in silence. They looked content and happy with each other, and suddenly I felt a strange sense of longing for Yura. Don't go there, I told myself. I leaned into the corner of the couch where it turned and extended like a limb, draping my arm across the pillow to my right. Nari, the white Shepherd, took that as an invitation to jump up on the couch and curl against me, her large head resting comfortably in my lap.

     "Nari, you're in my seat."

I looked up to find Jimin standing in front of me, two mugs in each hand. I lifted an eyebrow at him jokingly. "She's on my lap, Jimin."

"I know," he laughed. "You look lonely sitting over here while the horny love-birds-" he jerked his head in Jungkook and Taehyung's direction,  "- eye fuck each other, so I thought I'd come to keep you company."

"If you sat on my lap, I think you'd crush me, oppa."

"Is that fat-shaming I hear? We don't condone that in this house-hold." Jimin smirked playfully.  "Do you wanna sleep on the couch?"

"No, no." I smiled apologetically, accepting the cup of green tea he offered me.

Jimin sat on the opposite side of Nari, the Shepherd practically sandwiched between us. I stroked her head gently as I took a sip of my tea, shivering at the way it warmed my insides. I caught Jimin watching me for a moment before turning his attention to the TV. The blood rushed to my face as I sheepishly focused my attention elsewhere.

"I still want bibimbap, hyung," huffed Jungkook, staring back up at Taehyung.

"And?" Taehyung prodded, grabbing the TV remote off the lampstand behind his head.

"I don't see why you can't just get him bibimbap," I laughed, making Nari's ears prick from beneath my hand.

"Do you have bibimbap money?" Taehyung shot in my direction.

     "Yes...?"

Taehyung stared blankly at me, Jungkook's head raising so that he could look at my face. I stared back at both of them curiously, a bit annoyed that he thought I didn't have enough money for bibimbap. "Do you guys want bibimbap?" I questioned hesitantly.

"Yumin, you don't have to," Jimin muttered, his voice echoing as he took a sip of tea. "We have food in the fridge."

"Yeah," Jungkook barked. "Eggs, vegetables, uncooked rice, and Taehyung's sorry excuse for kimchi rotting away in the fridge."

Taehyung glared down at the man in his hold, flicking Jungkook in the back of the head with his long fingers. Jungkook groaned in protest, pressing his head against the lower part of Taehyung's stomach. Jimin watched them for a moment before turning to me and rolling his eyes. I smiled in return, shaking my head. I pulled my phone out of the back pocket of my jeans, beginning to scroll through restaurant delivery services.

"What's your address?" I whispered to Jimin, prodding him in his ribs.

He stared at me, visibly confused. I showed him the delivery service I'd chosen, beginning to wave the phone in his face impatiently. Jimin took the phone out of my hand, turning away from me so that I couldn't see what he was typing. I grumbled, pushing myself to my knees and leaning over Nari to peer over Jimin's shoulder. He turned farther away, forcing me to grab onto his shoulders to keep myself balanced while still being able to see what he was doing. A chuckle escaped Jimin as he turned back in my direction to hand me back my phone. I sat back on my heels, taking the phone in my hands and beginning to order several different dishes; bibimbap, bulgogi, kimchi-bokkeum-bop, and gimbap. It totaled out to almost $12, but that didn't worry me. I clicked deliver and waited until the screen told me that my order was successful.

"Half hour," I piped, pulling my knees to my chest. I smiled in satisfaction, beaming in Taehyung's direction. "And you said I didn't have bibimbap money. I thought you were in the music industry?"

     "I am!" Taehyung groaned.

     "And you can't afford bibimbap?"

"I choose not to answer that."

Jimin laughed aloud, standing up and offering to take my now empty mug into the kitchen. I let him take it. "Tae's cheap," he whispered down at me.

"Am not, Jimin." Taehyung pushed himself upright, almost making Jungkook slide onto the floor. The younger positioned himself comfortably upon the older's chest before Taehyung continued. "I just prefer cheap things."

"Says the one who's half of the closet is almost 100 percent Gucci," Jungkook bickered, folding his arms over his chest.

I smiled at the bickering throuple as Jimin settled himself back into his place beside me. Nari sniffed the air momentarily, hauling her large frame off the couch and onto the floor. She walked into the hallway, sticking her nose noisily into the food dish beside to side of the fridge.

"I swear that dog is such a pig," Taehyung laughed, letting his head loll over the arm of the couch.

"So is Yeontan, but we don't say anything about him pigging out, do we?" Jimin retorted, laying his head down close to mine.

I closed my eyes and tried to block out the back-and-forth, child-like arguing going on between the throuple when my phone buzzed. Assuming it was an alert from the delivery service, I ignored it. When it buzzed again, I irritably turned my phone on and glared at the screen.

My phone rang almost immediately. Without a word, I exited the living room and made my way into Jimin's bedroom. I shut the door behind me, ignoring the sound of one of the dogs whimpering and scratching at it, trying to get into the room with me. I accepted Yoongi's call, pressing the phone to my ear.

     "Oppa?"

     "Are you hurt?"

The sound of Yoongi's voice sent an overwhelming wave of emotions coursing through my body. Tears began rolling down my face, my body going numb. "Yoongi, I-" My voice cracked and all my pent up frustration came crashing down on me all at once. "Yoongi, come g-get me. Pl-please."

"Just send me your location, baby. I'll be there as soon as I can."

I nodded, even though I knew Yoongi couldn't see me. I pulled the phone away from my ear and hung up the call, my fingers shakily clicking around the chat before sending him my location. Pressing myself against the bedroom door, I slid to the floor, a sobbing wreck, pulling my knees up to my face, hiding behind my mass of dark hair.

     "Yumin!"

Jimin knocked loudly on the door. I couldn't bring myself to reply, let alone stand up and open the door. Instead, I blatantly sniffled, shutting my eyes and continuing to sob against the fabric of my pants.

     "Yumin, are you okay? YUMIN!?"

My phone buzzed repeatedly. I opened up the chat with Yoongi and read over the messages repeatedly before replying.

Almost 15 minutes had passed since I'd texted Yoongi. I hadn't moved from my spot on the floor, my mind blank, body numb and unwilling to budge. Jimin had stayed at the door for a few minutes, continuously knocking and trying to get me to answer him, but I didn't feel any urge to speak. All had been quiet for a bit; I couldn't even hear the TV playing in the living room anymore. I was close to nodding off when a loud knock sounded on the front door.

"Who the fuck!?" I heard Taehyung shout from the living room.

Slowly, I pushed myself to my feet and opened the bedroom door. Jimin was standing in the hallway, his gaze fixated on the front door. I stepped out beside him, not caring that his breathing grew quicker when I brushed up against him. I watched Taehyung cautiously open the door as Jungkook muttered that it was probably just the food that I had ordered not too long ago. But, it wasn't a delivery man standing in the doorway.

Taehyung's hand fell away from the doorknob, his fingertips growing pale. I heard him stumble on his words repeatedly before he finally muttered, "Hyung?"
