I picked up the fishing line and began threading the needle.
Y/N: I hate that I'm about to cause pain to someone I care about.
Clementine: Don't think about it that like. You're gonna be helping me.
Y/N: I guess. I'm sorry in advanced.
Clementine: It's okay. Just remember, you're probably saving my life.
I finished threading it and picked up the bottle.
Y/N: Alright, here we go...
I pour the peroxide in her cut.
Clementine: Ugh!!! Owwwwww...!
Y/N: You're fine... you're fine...
Clementine: Okay... okay... I-I'm ready.
Y/N: Alright, this time, I'm actually sorry.
I picked up the needle and put it near her arms, I looked at her and waited on her go. She nodded and I began sewing up her arm. It went real slow because of how much she kept squirming. Her screams and groans ripped my heart to shreds, it was probably the worst thing I've heard, but it needed to be done.
I eventually finished up sewing and wrapped her arm up. She's silently crying so I wrapped her in a hug as she cries into my shoulder.
Y/N: It's over, just remember it's over.
We pulled away.
Clementine: Thank you, now we need to get out--
Y/N: Ah!
A walker grabs my leg and pulls me down I shook it hand off me and it made into the shed. Clementine grabbed a rake and we pushed it on to a... something, anyway we killed it and the shed door opens.
Luke: Holy shit!
We turned and see the group.
Nick: How the hell it get in here?
Pete: They're both tough as nails.
Carlos: You alright?
Clementine: I am still. NOT. Bitten. I never was!
Y/N: And you left her out here to die!
Luke notices her arm.
Luke: You patched yourself up?
Nick: Where'd you get that stuff?
Rebecca: Did they steal from us?!
Pete: This doesn't change a thing. They haven't done anything to us.
Rebecca: Says the man not carrying a baby!
Y/N: You left us no choice. I wasn't going to sit and watch her suffer.
Carlos: Bring them in and I'll look at her arm.
They all walked away and me and Clementine walked out.
Luke: Hey, you hungry?
We just ignored him and walked out.

Me, Luke, Nick, Carlos, and Clem were in the kitchen as Carlos looked at her arm. Nick was biting his nails and Luke was pacing around.
Carlos: This might hurt a little.
Clementine: Ow!
Luke: How she looking?
Carlos: Her suturing skills need some work, but otherwise she's fine.
Clementine: I didn't do it, Y/N did.
Carlos: His suturing skills need work then.
Luke: So it wasn't a lurker bite?
Carlos: If it was the fever would've set in and her temperature would be through the roof.
Nick shakes his head and walks out of the room. Luke follows him out. Carlos walks to sink and washes his hands.
Carlos: I wish you two didn't do what you did.
Y/N: She was hurt and you weren't helping.
Carlos: Because we considered you a threat, you still might be. Rebecca was worried you might be working with someone else. That you both being here was no accident. I guess we'll find out, but you are not to be trusted.
He walks out of the room as Luke walks in.
Luke: I got y'all some food if you're hungry.
We both smile at him as he sets the bowls in front of us. It was oatmeal.
Luke: That's gonna leave one hell of a scar.
Clementine: Better than losing it.
Luke: True. Scars are cooler than stumps.
I closed my eyes and looked down. Remembering what happened to Lee's arm.
Luke: What's wrong, Y/N?
Y/N: Huh? Oh, uh, nothing. Just remembered someone who lost their arm.
Nick enters the room and walks over to us.
Nick: Hey, look. I'm sorry I almost shot you there. I was being a dick and that wasn't cool.
Luke: Nick's been known to go off every once and a while. Don't hold it against him.
Clementine: It's okay, you were just defending your friends.
Y/N: Yeah, bygones.
Nick: I didn't mean to be so harsh. I just... we had a bad experience once.
Y/N: Who hasn't?
Luke: Nick lost his mom. We tried to take care of someone who was bit.
Nick: Which was my fault--
Luke: It was no one's fault. We thought we could handled it, but it went bad.
Nick: Anyway, I hope you understand.
Clementine: Yeah, I get it.
I nod in agreement. Nick smiles as he left room. We ate in silence before Luke broke it.
Luke: So, since you're pretty much on your own, what y'all's plan?
Clementine: We'll probably move on.
Y/N: Yeah, look for Christa.
Luke: Well, you're welcomed to stay here.
Y/N: What about everyone else?
He smirks.
Luke: They'll just have to deal with it. So... what happened to y'all's parents?
Clementine: What happened to pretty much everyone else's.
I sadly nod in agreement.
Y/N: But this man took care of us, his name was Lee.
Luke: Are you two siblings? And, uh, what happened to him.
Clementine: No, we're just really close. We've known each other practically since the start.
Y/N: Yeah, and Lee, uh, got bit. We cut his arm off, but it was too late...
Luke: Wow... he sounded like a great guy.
Clementine: Yeah, he was.
Pete then walks in.
Pete: I hate to interrupt, but I'm out there standing watch and I can't help but notice this place is lit up like a beacon in the middle of the woods.
Luke: Yeah, it's time to turn in.
Pete: Get your winks while you can. We're going fishing at first light. A couple of fresh brookies for dinner? Mm, wouldn't that be nice.
Him and Luke left, leaving me and Clementine to eat in silence.
Rebecca: Oh, you're still here.
I looked up and see Rebecca scowling at us. She walks over to the sink and washes her hands.
Rebecca: I wouldn't get comfortable if I were you.
Y/N: I think you should ease on that attitude of yours, it can cause stress to the kid.
Rebecca: Excuse me?
I shrugged.
Y/N: I'm just saying, because once your husband find out it's not his, that'll cause even more stress on it.
Rebecca: You shut your fucking mouth!
Clementine: You should watch your language if your going to be a mom.
Rebecca: Y'all watch y'all's asses if you know what's good for you. I knew you both would be a fucking problem. You got what you needed. Now go.
She walks out and I turn to Clem with a big grin on my face.
Y/N: Haha! I didn't know you could get so sassy!
She smirks at me as she shrugs her shoulders. We finished up the oatmeal and we went to bed.

It was morning. Me, Clem and Pete were walking together to the river.
Pete: How ya holding up? I heard y'all got an earful from Rebecca last night.
Clementine: She's mean. I don't like her.
Y/N: That makes two of us.
Pete: She did come on strong.
We walked over an old door.
Y/N: How far are these fish traps?
Pete: It ain't much further... Anyone teach y'all to shoot?
Y/N: Yeah, our friend taught us.
Clementine: But not a rifle!
Pete: That makes sense. This thing'll probably knock you on your ass.
Pete then tells us a story about the first time he took Nick hunting. It was pretty embarrassing. Nick heard us, got angry and ran towards the stream.
Nick: Uncle Pete!
We ran to the river stream and it there were dead bodies filled with bullet holes.
Pete: Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
Y/N: Who did this?
Pete: It wasn't your average thugs. That's for sure.
Nick: Think about it. You're Carver, what'd you do?
Clementine: Who's Carver?
They ignored her question and inspected the bodies.
Pete: Clementine, Y/N. There's one over there. Go check it out.
Me and Clementine crossed the river and we see the body. Clementine's backpack was near him. The guy starts groaning, scaring me and Clementine.
Y/N: Who are you?
???: Please...
Clementine eyes widen.
Clementine: You were in the woods with Christa... what happened to her?!
???: Please...
He coughs as he points to the bottle of water. Me and Clementine shake our heads as she closes up her backpack.
Pete: Ugh!
He shoots a walker that was near him.
Nick: Pete!
Pete: I'm fine! Just lost my footing.
Suddenly walkers ambush us and Nick and Pete are calling us over to both sides.
Y/N: Clem! I'll go with Pete. You go with Nick.
Her eyes widen.
Clementine: But I don't wanna leave you!
Y/N: I'll be fine, okay? Go!
She nods as she runs over to Nick. I ran over to Pete and there were more walkers.
Y/N: We have to go!
Pete: Damn it, alright follow me!
We ran further into the woods, away from the walkers.
