"Hi~ what were you guys doing while waiting for us?" Ryu asked as she comfortably sat down on the sofa while the others also made their way into the living room. The place suddenly got a lot more crowded and noisier.
"Black magic," Chaejung answered as she remained seated on the ground while scrolling through her phone, checking out what she had missed while playing with the others, "it was really fun."
Jibeom sighed in frustration as he got up from the floor, "I still don't get the last trick."
"Gosh, you're so slow!" Jaein couldn't help but complain.
"Hey everyone!!" Bomin exclaimed excitedly after looking around, making everyone look at him. "Now that we're all here we should play a game."
Daeyeol pouted his lips as he tried to think of a game where so many people could join, and his eyes widened as he finally thought of one.
"Guys," he spoke and the others turned to him, "let's play truth or dare."
The others didn't really mind and agreed to the idea, because even though everyone were close, it hadn't been a long time ever since the new girls joined them.
They all gathered together in a large circle, some of them sitting on the sofas while the rest sat on the floor. Instead of spinning the bottle, they decided to use a lucky draw app instead because they had many people and it might be difficult to pick people using a real bottle.
"Guys, do you want any snacks or drinks?" Sungyoon questioned right before they started.
Jaeseok answered, "you can get us anything."
"Alright," Sungyoon stood up from his seat, "you guys can start without me, I'll just join later." And then he left the living room.
"Hey guys." When everyone else waited for someone to host the game, Jangjun snapped his fingers to get everyone's attention.
Youngtaek furrowed his eyebrows and looked to Jangjun who sat next to him. "What?"
Jangjun leaned forward, slammed his hands onto the floor and looked around with a serious look on his face. "To avoid truth questions being wasted unnecessarily, let's do one thing first."
The ones who were close with him didn't take him seriously because they knew he was just joking around again.
Mijin rolled her eyes and leaned back on the sofa. "Do what?"
Jangjun took a deep breath, which was just another add-on to his dramatic performance, and replied, "we need to report our status first."
"Status? What status?" Arim was confused.
"Ah!" Seungmin slammed his hands onto the floor as well as he understood what Jangjun meant, before explaining to the people who didn't know what that is.
"Status, as in whether we're single or taken, plus how many times we have dated before."
"Oh? Interesting," Rico grinned.
"Finally for once, Jangjun has a point," Daeyeol said, making the googoos snicker, and Jangjun made a funny face in response. "It can save us more time instead of having many of us explain our relationships."
Chaejung raised her hand, "how do we report our status, though?"
"We'll make this simple," Daeyeol explained, "A is for available, O is for occupied. The letter is then followed by a number, which is how many times you have dated before. Using me as an example, I'm O1, meaning that I'm taken and this is my very first relationship."
"Ooohh so sweet~" the rest of them cheered, making him look down as he smiled shyly and his face turned red.
Daeyeol decided to move the attention away from him, "w-who's next? Be quick!"
"I'm O1, next!" Mijin smiled.
Ryu looked around to see if anyone else wanted to speak before she spoke, "O4. I guess I don't need to explain anything."
Jaeseok glanced at her before a smirk appeared on his face. "O-"
"If you dare to say OBA I'll kick your butt," Ryu cut him off, making Jaeseok burst out laughing.
"O3," he completed his answer.
"OBA?" Chaejung was confused.
Jaehyun, sitting next to her, whispered, "it means occupied but available."
"Jesus christ."
"O1!!" Jangjun shouted proudly.
"Hyung, you were obviously waiting for this moment," Donghyun laughed a bit.
Chaejung looked a bit embarrassed, but still decided to answer since they all did so far. "O1," she cleared her throat and said.
"Okay my turn!" Youngtaek exclaimed, "I'm U!!"
"U for what?" Seungmin looked at him, confused.
Youngtaek fake cried in response, "URGENT!!!"
Everyone burst out laughing at his answer.
"If you know any pretty girls please introduce them to me thanks. By the way I'm A1. Next~" Youngtaek also laughed a bit before quickly moving on.
"Oohh? Son Youngtaek is also interested in dating now? What a surprise," Seungmin teased and got hit by Youngtaek with a cushion he got from the sofa, "oh fuck you! By the way I guess I'm NA? If I can't say that then I'm A2."
"Things are going well with Hanmi?" Arim asked excitedly, and Seungmin only smiled in response.
"I-" Jaehyun was about to speak but got cut off by Jibeom.
"I know what his status is!" Jibeom exclaimed as he slammed his hand onto the floor while raising the other one.
"I'm starting to feel bad for the floor," Minah mumbled as she leaned back on the sofa lazily, making Jaein laugh silently while covering her mouth.
Jaehyun crossed his arms as he didn't bother to stop Jibeom, "well okay I'll see what you can say."
He replied excitedly, "you are C!"
"C for what?" The others seemed interested by another term appearing.
"Complicated!"
The rest of them burst out laughing again while Jaehyun grabbed a cushion and started hitting Jibeom with it.
With Jibeom's half-hearted non-stop apologies, Jaehyun hit him one last time before putting the cushion away. "Complicated your ass! I'm NA."
Joochan gasped, "are you really going out with that girl from Everland?!"
"Yeah..." Jaehyun replied as he glared at him.
"How many times have you dated though?" Rico grinned and asked.
"Just look at his flirting skills, I bet he's A380-"
"KIM JIBEOM!"
Amongst all the noise and laughter, Donghyun couldn't help but facepalm at the chaos. Shaking his head at the two who were fighting, he then turned to those who didn't know about Jaehyun's status. "Geez, I guess I'll answer for him. He's A4."
After everyone calmed down for a bit, Jibeom spoke. "I'm O2."
"For me, O2 as well," Rico replied.
"Ooh? Rico has dated someone before?" The others were suprised as their attention turned to her.
But the girl didn't explain anything and just smiled, "who's next?"
"O1," Donghyun shrugged.
"Me too," Minah said.
"A0," Joochan carefully replied, observing Jaein's reaction, but she didn't react much which made him both relieved and disappointed.
Minah lightly pushed Jaein with a cushion on the sofa. "And you?"
Jaein pushed Minah back a little before her face turned red in embarrassment. "A-A0," she stuttered in a quiet volume, but loud enough for everyone else to hear.
"And the remaining two of you?" Daeyeol asked Arim and Bomin.
"O1," both of them replied at the same time, before turning to each other with big smiles on their faces and giving each other a high five.
Mijin picked up her phone, which will be used for truth or dare. "Okay, so now that we're done, let's start. I'll press the button now."
After she pressed the button, everyone stayed quiet, excitedly waiting for who would be picked first for truth or dare.
At this moment, Sungyoon finally came back with a bag filled with drinks. He placed down the bag on the table which were in front of the sofas, followed by someone, who seemed to be his butler, putting down another bag filled with snacks.
Everyone thanked the both of them before the butler left while Sungyoon returned to his seat on the sofa, between Jaeseok and Joochan.
"Hyung, you came back just in time," Joochan said cheerfully to Sungyoon, who smiled in response.
At this moment the first person was finally picked. "Rico! You're first, truth or dare?" Mijin announced after looking at the spinning wheel in her phone that stopped.
"Truth," Rico answered. She didn't look scared nor too excited, and a smirk appeared on her face. "You guys better not go too harsh on me because I can ask some pretty good questions."
Ryu shrugged at her warning. "Alright, I have a question." She raised her hand. "Since we all know that you met Jibeom before you met us at camp, can you tell us when did you start liking him? Did you already like him before camp?"
"Oooh that's a good question. I'm curious," Chaejung said.
Jibeom turned to look at Rico, also wanting to know her answer.
"Well," Rico replied after laughing a bit, "I think it was the second time I met him, which was also before camp. I saw him in the alleyway alone and he sat there for a long time because he found an abandoned kitten."
Her reply made all the girls squeal. Jibeom laughed a little, looking embarrassed.
"And then? What happened?" Arim asked, looking at Rico with puppy eyes.
"I adopted the kitten, and couldn't stop thinking about him since then," Rico looked at Jibeom as she responded shyly.
Jibeom didn't say anything and just smiled as he ruffled her hair.
"This is such a cute story, I'm in tears." Mijin dramatically pretended to wipe her tears, earning a judging look from Ryu. "Now let's pick the next person."
She pressed the button on the screen again and everyone waited until the next person was picked. Daeyeol was picked next.
"I pick truth!" Daeyeol exclaimed but the boys didn't show him the reaction he wanted.
Seungmin shook his head. "Aye Daeyeol hyung don't be a coward~"
"Who said truth questions are easy?" Daeyeol widened his eyes as he looked a bit offended. He dramatically jumped up from the sofa and shouted, "COME ON! CHALLENGE ME!!!"
The others were laughing at his actions while Jangjun raised his hand and spoke.
"Have you and Mijin ever f*cked?"
"LEE JANGJUN!" Daeyeol screamed as his face turned red in embarrassment and he threw a cushion across the circle to hit him.
The others were either laughing out loud or covering their face in embarrassment at the straightforward question. Mijin was also blushing while hiding her face.
After everyone finally calmed down, Daeyeol sighed in frustration. He spoke, "I guess you guys figured out the answer, I'm not going to say it directly because it's embarrassing. Next!"
Seungmin was the next one to be picked. He chose dare, and he was dared to call Hanmi and confess to her, which he really did because he had been planning to do so.
Everyone cheered for Seungmin after he ended the call.
"Congrats, you're now O3 instead of A2!" Arim said cheerfully.
Seungmin stood up and bowed at a few directions, acting like as if he won an award. "Thank you, thank you."
And they started picking the next person.
"Oh, it's me?" Bomin asked as he glanced at the phone which wasn't too far away from him, "truth."
Jaehyun raised his hand. "I have a question!"
"What is it, hyung?"
"When was the first time you and Arim kissed?" Smiles appeared on everyone's faces as the question popped up.
"Oh, for that..." Bomin looked like he was thinking hard for the question.
Arim widened her eyes as she turned to look at Bomin. "W-what? But we haven-"
At this moment, Bomin quickly cupped her face and kissed her on the lips.
"It was just now," Bomin answered with a smile after the parted.
While Arim, who was surprised from the sudden event, covered her mouth in shock as her face turned red in embarrassment.
"JESUS CHRIST!" Youngtaek screamed as he dramatically threw a cushion onto the ground, while the others were mostly frozen in shock.
Donghyun cleared his throat before he finally spoke, "Choi Bomin ssi..."
Bomin gasped as he realised that Donghyun, the boy who had been overprotective of Arim, saw everything. "Oh fuck," he mumbled.
"BOMIN RUN!!!!" Minah jumped up from the sofa in shock.
"SHIIIIITTTTT!!!!"
