Y/N hated leaving, she really did. But you know who hated it more? Jared, her boyfriend. She came back every other weekend from college to see him, and it was hard on them both to be apart. The boys would always joke that they wouldn't miss her, but she could see the sadness in Jared's eyes every time the subject was mentioned.
Speak for yourselves, he'd say.
And later, like right now, he would wrap around her like a koala and hold her until she absolutely had to leave.
They were snuggled in his bed, his legs tangled through hers and his head tucked in her neck. Y/N dragged her fingers through his soft, black hair and listened to his heartbeat.
"I don't want you to go."
