It's warm. I search for my blankets but can only feel my dress. Wait, why did I fall asleep in my dress? I inhale, and the smell of crisp wood and fresh rain fills my nose. Why does something so simple smell so intoxicating?
"Wake up princess." A familiar voice catches my attention. Who the...?
I sit up and two pairs of eyes greet me. "Morning love." A male with green eyes smiles at me. Mate. Oh, so now my wolf chooses to speak to me. Wait, mate?
"How did you sleep?" The man next to him has brown eyes that look at me with a bit of concern. Mate!
Mate? But I thought the other guy was my mate? Then the realization hits me. Oh, goddess... I have two mates... and they kidnapped me. My heart rate increases. "Where am I?"
Brown eyes sighs and shakes his head, "Again with ignoring us. That's very rude princess." His statement sends a sense of deja vu. But I can't quite pinpoint how.
"Who. Are. You?" Brown eyes growls at my tone, but green eyes sets a hand on his shoulder telling him to calm down.
It's green eyes who finally speaks, "My name is Kai Stone. And this here is my twin brother Xavier. Now, what's your name love?"
"Addison. Addison Taylor." The two smirk and seem to be mind-linking each other.
Xavier's POV
Our little mate is beautiful. Twins are very rare in the werewolf world and seem to always have the fate of getting the same mate. Kai and I grew up knowing that this would happen, but we agreed that we would not have trouble sharing her.
What we didn't expect, however, was to meet her in a pack we were going to ambush. We also didn't expect her to belong to someone else. The thought of that rock on her finger makes my blood boil. When I saw the ring sparkling under the light that night I almost lost it. How could she not wait for us? By the looks of it she doesn't look very old, maybe 17 or so.
My brother and I are 24, but the age difference doesn't bother us, as it doesn't bother most werewolves. In fact, it's even better for us because we have our own little secret. We're dominants. When we were younger we hit a rebellious stage and dated many she-wolves, dominating them and pleasing them, but never staying longer than the night.
I know we should've waited for our mate but the struggles of being a young rouge with a strong alpha wolf made it difficult to control my urges, along with my brother.
Her beautifully unique eyes make me smile, convincing me that she truly was made for me. One eye is green and the other brown as if the moon goddess just couldn't help herself. She was our baby girl. Only ours.
'Brother, I know what you're thinking, but I urge you not to. Please, we shouldn't scare her off just yet.'
'She's disrespected us twice now, and she's given herself to someone else. We can't just ignore that fact.'
He mentally sighs, 'Yes, I understand, but she's new to this and doesn't know us well. We can address her submissive role another day. I do agree, however, that we could calmly discuss the... issue.'
"Nice rock." Addison flinches at my statement, and I try my hardest to ignore it.
'Real smooth, idiot.'
"I-" My wolf doesn't let her finish, slowly taking control.
"You what? You couldn't wait to jump into another man's arms and let him take you to bed. You didn't care if he marked and mated you, resulting in bringing us pain? How old even are you, 15?"
"19, thank you very much." Her sass makes me what to bend her over my knee, but she continues, not giving me the chance. "And for your information, I have waited for my mate."
"You have?" My brother's voice reminds me we weren't alone in the room together. She looks up at him and blushes. She must've forgotten he was there too.
"Yes. I had just gotten engaged earlier today... or yesterday. He was the beta and my best friend. We both searched every pack in hopes of finding our mate, but it never happened, so he asked if I would be his." I clench my fists together no longer wanting to hear this story. "When my father heard he wasn't happy. Our soon to be Alpha and my other best friend lost his mate and since I'm the gamma's daughter they wanted me to mate with him instead."
Gamma's daughter? The young mutt lost his mate? Well, that would've made the ambushing a lot easier. Idiot, did you not hear her? She was about to mate two males. That should've been us not those mutts. Mark her know. We can't lose mate.
I suppress my wolf, knowing if I marked her without her consent she nor my brother would forgive me. I can tell Kai is also fighting to control his wolf at the thought of her almost mating with not just one but two males.
"I'm sorry. I was hesitant about saying yes. But I should've waited not just on saving my body but saving my heart as well." She bows her head down showing us submission. My heart swells with pride, and my wolf growls in satisfaction.
My brother fills my head, 'Such a good little submissive.'
'Yes.Indeed.'
