No one's there to catch you
When you plummet
To the hell pit of rock bottom...
Contrary to popular belief.
In life, it's frigid
With little to no temperature at all.
Desolate, dark, lonely,
And densely small.
No appalled passersby
Can you hear you scream.
Nothing accessible
To wipe the incessant tears.
A prisoner trapped for years of an era
Within the listed plethora of failures from your
Own troubled consciousness.
It should be a relief
To be able to become your own savior.
A daunting favor
That you may or may not want to
Be able to pay yourself.
A risky chance to savor
If you're daringly brave enough to try.
Fight, flight, or stealth.
There's an invaluable
Wealth of knowledge to find.
It's worth your weight in health,
To be frankly honest and divine.
A mass college of unique collages
Outlining your life prophecy's way through the dark mine.
To your utter dismay,
The journey proves to be formidable.
No knight in shining armor,
Prince nor nobleman in it all to surrender to.
Just a grand, hopeless man
Chocked full of dreams,
Though it may seem.
Not the tale of a fairy.
Know what I mean?
Hopeless romantics
Bursting through the seams
With foolish love to give
Out like an array of sunlight beams.
Wake up from reality.
A life is but a dream!
