Twice members reacting to meeting you in a coffee shop.
Nayeon
She casually walked into the shop, one that she had been going to for a while. Everyone knew her name and loved her presence. She was always incredibly nice to everyone, asking how their days were going. Of course you were new which meant you were shadowing another employee for the day. Learning different things, making drinks extremely slow.
"Ah, Nayeon!" Your manager smiled. "The usual?" He asked.
"Yes please." Nayeon laughed while walking up to the register. You couldn't help but stare at her, she was gorgeous. She caught you staring, a small smile on her lips before you looked away blushing.
"I'll teach you this drink too because it's simple." The employee said to you. You nodded and followed her, watching and listening to her explain everything while making the drink. When it was finished, you handed it to Nayeon, seeing her smile again.
"Thank you." She winked before walking out. She gave you a small wave, making you somewhat enjoy work now.
Jeongyeon
You had just walked in, standing in the long line. You had regretted not ordering ahead of time as it looked like the place was packed with people. You heard the bell jingle behind you, hearing people complain about the line.
"You go ahead. I'm getting coffee no matter what." A voice stated. You turned your head to see the girl walk in, she gave you a small smile, hoping you were friendly too. You returned the smile, looking ahead.
"What is taking so long??" A man complained. You looked over and saw the short staff, and possibly two new people struggling. "Can't even get the simple tasks done." He scoffed.
"Hey they're trying." Jeongyeon frowned.
"Yeah, leave them alone. If you want coffee there are plenty other shops around." You added. The guy let out another scoff before leaving the line and store in general.
"I see you put the cherry on top." Jeongyeon chuckled.
"I hate rude people." You sighed.
"Same." She laughed slightly. "Especially when they clearly need help and they don't understand." She smiled. You nodded in agreement, and continued small talk. You hoped this girl would choose your usual coffee place from now on. You liked her.
Momo
"Please!" You heard the girl in front of you whine. "I'm so hungry! I'm going to starve!" She complained.
"Momo you'll be fine." The other girl sighed. You watched them with a small smile on your face seeing the girl still complaining about wanting food. "Oh my god Momo, you'll be fine." She groaned.
"But I want a snack. I'm so hungry." She whined.
"I'll buy you a snack." You smirked, catching her attention. You winked at her causing her cheeks to blush slightly.
"She cares about me." Momo pointed at you, going to stand next to you instead of her friend.
"So your name is Momo?" You asked her. She nodded, a small blush on her cheeks while she stood next to you. "I'm Y/N." She chuckled.
"Thank you." Momo laughed nervously. Both of you continued small talk, Momo picking out a small pastry and thanking you for the small snack. You enjoyed her company, not wanting her to leave, but you watched her leave with her friend. You would always remember her though.
Sana
You had seen her multiple times in the shop. She would always order a tea, with a small pastry, stay for a few minutes before heading out. Just about everyday she was there in your shop. She got used to seeing your face every single day. That was until you had taken a much needed week off, leaving her to deal with someone else in your place. When you returned she was shocked to see you again, but happy to see your face.
"Going to be honest.. Missed seeing your face." Sana chuckled while waiting.
"Ah, I'm guessing they didn't make your drink correctly then." You chuckled while pouring the hot water into the cup.
"Once or twice..." She smiled. "But seeing your smiling face usually makes my day a little brighter." She winked. You smiled at her, shaking your head in response.
"Guess I'll just have to ask if you want to go on vacation with me next time." You were bold. Sana was used to it, but that comment had taken her back slightly. Your cheeks flushed red as you put a lid on her cup. When you handed her the cup, she smiled and slid a paper in your hand.
"Maybe dinner first." She smiled before leaving your shop.
Jihyo
You always saw her working hard behind the counter. She was always smiling and talking with everyone. No matter how early it was she was always smiling. You had came in after the rush, seeing her without a smile and more concerned about something.
"Someone must've gotten under your skin." You frowned at her. She looked up at you, and let out a small sigh.
"Just some idiot spilling his coffee all over the place and blamed me." She rolled her eyes. "Who complains that their coffee is filled too much?" She asked.
"Seriously?" You scoffed slightly laughing.
"I'm being dead serious. He grabbed the cup, squeezed it and then it went everywhere! Like why?!" She laughed. You laughed with her, seeing the smile now appearing on her face. "Okay... Business... Usual?" She chuckled.
"Yes please." You smiled.
Mina
Mina was a shy worker, but fast at making drinks. You were in awe with how fast she was able to make drinks, but when it came to interacting with customers, she was less than ideal. She struggled with talking that she didn't even talk with her workers unless need be. Except you. You were her exception.
"Mina, three lattes and an americano." You called out to her while handing the written on cups. She read the cups and quickly went to work. Every one drink she turned out, you handed her two empty cups waiting to be filled. So she quickened the pace, making two drinks at a time.
"How is it they work so well together?" Another worker asked.
"No idea." The other frowned.
"Y/N, can you get me the black bag of espresso beans? Need more." Mina whispered while pouring the steamed milk in a cup. Y/N nodded, running into the back quickly ran to the back to get the bag for her. When you came back she had handled the rest of the drinks and begun to clean up the little station. "Finally it's over." She chuckled while taking the bag from you.
"It'll come back." You smiled at her.
"And you'll work the register right?" Mina looked you with hopeful eyes. You nodded, knowing how shy she was.
"Anything for my favorite person in the entire world." You winked at her. She blushed while looking away from you, going back to cleaning her station.
Dahyun
Working with Dahyun was always an adventure. Both of you always worked the closing shift, less people, less everything. So when the shop was closed, you blasted music while cleaning.
"Oh I love this song!!" She shouted while turning it up on the speaker. You danced in the lobby with the mop while she continued to restock everything. Both of you had gotten somewhat distracted while dancing to the music that you ended up laughing at each other so hard to the point of crying.
"We never leave here on time do you notice that?" You asked her.
"A hundred percent." Dahyun laughed while putting a few of their sample bags out in a basket. "Not my fault we sit there and jam out."
"We are the best closing employees though. Boss says so." You smirked. "We are the dream team." You winked at her while going towards the back with the mop bucket. When you came back a new song was playing and she was dancing slightly while cleaning the counter. You couldn't help but walk up to the register and smile at her. "How's it feel to be on the other side?" You asked her.
"Ah... I would like the most complicated drink on the menu." She smiled. "Large, non-fat milk, extra whipped cream." She joked. You burst into laughter with her while you shook your head. You shouldn't make fun of customers, but honestly if they hadn't made your life a living hell, you wouldn't. You were just glad you could share your nights with Dahyun.
Chaeyoung
"I will complain to your manager about your attitude." The customer growled at Chaeyoung. She looked back at you for help, and you walked up to the register and saw the problem.
"Ma'am, your card was declined. How does that have anything to do with her attitude?" You asked her.
"Because she's obviously scanning it wrong." She snapped. You took the card, swiping it on the reader, watching it decline again.
"Yeah no." You shook your head handing her back her card. "If you have another form of payment, I would gladly take that and charge it there, but if not, you are taking up another paying customer's time." You said in the most professional voice possible. Chaeyoung watched as you handled the situation, the lady grumbling as she left. Once you two had cleared the entire line she laughed at you and hit your arm.
"That lady was so angry!!" She chuckled.
"I know. Like seriously? At least make sure you have enough money before causing a scene." You scoffed while wiping down the counter you had been working on.
"And thank you for saving my ass... I don't think the boss would've been happy about another lady complaining..." She frowned. "I really need this job."
"I know. I'm great at everything just say it." You smirked. She rolled her eyes, ignoring your comment. "You love me!" You cackled.
"Yeah sure love." She laughed.
Tzuyu
Tzuyu was one of the quiet workers, but when you got her going she was loud. You both were nosy people and obviously started digging in the boxes that were clearly labeled 'do not open until November'. Your shift manager really didn't care since your work was done and the shop was practically dead.
"Yo... Christmas?? It's barely October." You frowned while looking at the red and green bags.
"I wonder why?" Tzuyu frowned.
"I wonder what it smells like." You chuckled while picking up one of the sample bags. She chuckled and picked up a bag before you knew it and chucked it at you.
"It smells like Christmas!" She laughed.
The rest of your shift consisted on catching up on cleaning, the two of you chucking spare coffee beans at one another when your manager wasn't looking.
"I hope the two of you are cleaning well." He frowned when he caught the two of you.
"We are." You laughed while wrapping an arm around her waist. "We're excellent cleaners."
"Yup!" Tzuyu smiled while draping her arm across your shoulders. You couldn't help but smile at her actions. You liked her and knew that she would only enjoy her shift if you were with her. Which made you incredibly happy.
