My Hero Academia belongs to Kohei Horikoshi

(Y/N)'s POV
My name is (Y/N). I'm 30 years old and I used to be a pretty big hero. With my regeneration quirk that allowed me to regenerate body pretty quick, I was able to defeat villains with out having to worry about loosing an arm or anything, but one day I can across a villain with an awful quirk. Basically if he made contact with his blood to mine, a super deadly disease was put into my body that kills basically everything in me pretty quick. It goes at the pace that my quirk regenerates. After I defeated the villain, I became hospital born. I'm stuck in here as until they find a cure, which almost seems impossible. My career is ruined now, and I don't know if I'll make it. I've gotten to the point where I'm almost always super tired as my quirk is constantly activated. It sucks.
"Hey dear," my wife, Rei, says to me.
"Hello," I say with a smile.
"How are you feeling today?" She ask me like always.
"..." I pause and look down. "The best I can be," I say trying to cheer her up. She reads through my lie though. She doesn't say anything she only frowned.
It so happened that Rei is perfect for the disease. Actually if she freezes parts of my body it will slow down the process of the disease, but the problem is my body can only take so much freezing at a time.
"Here I brought you one of our favorite movies," she said with a big smile.
"Great!" I said smiling back.
She set up the movie and started to do our usual freezing. Every time we do this she either gets super sad or cries. It hurts to see her. I always cheer her up by memories of us or with some of the kids.
We met shortly after her and Endeavor divorced. It was pure accident. She got a job and one of the local markets.
"Hey, hey remember what I said to you when we first met," I asked trying to cheer her up as she was crying today.
"Y-Yeah," she says well sniffling.
"I said 'Wow... Your eyes are the most beautiful eyes I've ever scene' and then you had one of the brightest blushes I've ever scene," I said then we both chuckled a bit.
"It was even funnier after that when you said 'Oh shoot! Either you have a mind reading quirk or I said that out loud', to which I chuckled and said my quirk is an Ice quirk," she said chuckling.
"I was so embarrassed, but then I kept finding myself coming to that place everyday to buy something, but I was actually just there to see you," I said and chuckled.
"Hehe! You were the highlight of my day, and you still are," she said. "I just... wish this didn't happen," she said starting to tear up again.
"Hey hey!" I said then putting my hand on her cheek. "Remember when I first met your kids?"
"Oh! That was a crazy day," she said smiling again.
"Your two boys instantly started telling me if I were to do anything they would kill me in an instant, and your daughter had to come intervene," I said chuckling.
"They can be pretty defensive of me, but that day was fun after all that commotion," she said.
"Yeah, I love those 3. I also love the one kid we had," I said to her. "How is she doing?"
"Our daughter is growing amazing, she loves drawing and she is excited to see you this weekend! She even has a little gift for you," Rei said with a bright smile.
"I can't wait to see her!" I said then took a moment and paused. "I wish I could see her everyday and watch her grow, and I wanna see Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Shoto more, but this stupid disease!" I yelled. "Sorry," I said looking at my wife.
"It's alright," she said then giving me a soft kiss. "Soon enough, you'll get to see them."
"Sorry interrupt you," the doctor said at the door.
"No it's fine," I said.
"So I have some bad news and good news," he said.
"Start with the bad I said," I said.
"So it turns out technically our doctors can't make a cure for this disease. We've been studying it, and it's just not possible. It being quirk based it's not something that's easy to cure and it being such a rare and special case it's super hard to understand," he said. I clenched my fists. I was gonna be stuck in this states. Stuck in a bed. Away from everything.
"What's the good news," Rei said, doubting the news trying to see if there is some hope.
"Well the good news, is actually great news. We finally got this villain to talk about how to cure it," He said. Sparking both Rei and I's attention. "He said to cure it you have to mix a piece of his skin with a few other things and it would cure it. His quirk is a both a killer disease in his blood, and the cure from his skin. It's a super crazy quirk. We weren't sure if he was telling the truth, so we tested it on someone, and it turned out he was telling us the truth," after the doctor said that Rei and I looked at each other with tears in our eyes.
"When is the soonest he'll get out," Rei asked.
"Well sense he was in here for about 8 months, he should be able to heal in a month, then he'll have to wait another 2 months to going back to his job, if you so desire to," he says.
"We all know I'm going back to being a pro hero," I said smiling, to which they both chuckled.
"Of course," he said. "The first month with be used to rehabilitate you so you can walk normally and your body is at a healthy state, lucky for you, you have that quirk, which will make it a ton faster. Then the next 2 months will be for hero training, so your body can physically handle the crime scene again. You're super lucky you have that quirk (Y/N), or else it would probably take you half a year or more to be back on the crime scene," he said. "I need to go get the cure set up, if you would like to do that-"
"YES!" I said immediately cutting him off ready to get it started.
"Haha! Of course," he said leaving the room.
"Finally!" Rei said her eyes tearing up. "You'll finally be healthy again," she said and then we immediately hugged.
-1 month later-
"Why do I have to cover my eyes?" I asked Rei as she was putting her hands over my eyes. "Did you change the house or something."
"No no silly! Just wait and see," she said giggling.
I heard the door open
"Now open," she said taking her hands of my eyes.
"Welcome back home!" Shoto, Natsuo, Fuyumi, and Yukime (our daughter) all yelled.
I sat there in shock. They all had a smile on their faces, and gave me a big welcome.
"Come here!" I yelled wanting them to come in and give me a hug. We all had a giant hug. "You guys have so much to catch me up on," I said, to which they all laughed.
That day was an amazing day. I got to hear about Fuyumi and her teacher job, Natsuo told me about his girlfriend and his job, Shoto told me about all the friends he's made during the hero course and how he is improving, and Yukime told me about how she is doing in elementary and that Shoto has been training her to be a hero one day. That day was great seeing all of us together and having a great together
A few months later I was healthy and doing my usual hero work. I got to see Yukime everyday. Shoto, Fuyumi, and Natsuo would visit time to time. Shoto and Yukime got very close.
Rei and I, we couldn't be happier finally waking up in the same bed, no hospital, no pain, and just finally being a normal family again.
"Hey Rei," I said as we were sitting in our house together on the couch.
"Yeah?" She responded.
"You have the most beautiful eyes," I said smiling at her. She gained a huge blush.
"Stop!" She yelled. To which I teased her more.
We had a lot of fun together that night.
