Richie tapped his pencil on the desk out of boredom. Eddie sat two seats ahead of him, he gazed at him.
The teacher was teaching math to the class.
"Ed's.." He whispered.
"Eddie!"
He spun around, "What!? Stop calling me, we're gonna get caught."
Richie smiled, "so?"
Eddie scoffed, "Rich, what do you want??"
"I just wanted to see your face."
Eddie blushed and turned away, "shut up."
"Excuse me boys? Why are you having a conversation while I'm teaching??"
"Why are you teaching during my conversation?" Richie grinned.
The teacher sighed, "Did you just talk back to me?"
"Yes, that's how a conversation works."
He rolled his eyes.
"Yeah keep Rollin em, you might find a brain back there."
Eddie chuckled.
"Enough, back to the lesson."
A couple minutes later Richie felt himself falling asleep. Eddie didn't notice.
He had a quick dream, but he couldn't see anything. Only feel, the feeling was pain. He felt scared, broken again. But from what?
"Richie!"
"Richard!!"
"Richard!!!!"
He popped his head up, another dream..? He thought. The teacher and everyone stare at him.
"Tozier! School isn't a place for sleeping."
"And home isn't a place for working." He grinned, rubbing his eyes.
Eddie giggled; the teacher sighed.
"You are here to learn. Not sleep."
"Actually I'm here because the law says I have to."
The teacher clenched his fists. A couple kids giggled.
"You see kids.." He took out a ruler and pointed it at him.
"At the end of this ruler, is an idiot."
Richie smiled. "Which end?"
A couple students laughed, Eddie tried holding it in, but burst out laughing.
"Thats it. Out of my class Tozier. I've had it with you."
Richie slowly got up, "Whatever you say Humpty Dumpty."
He stomped out of the class, impersonating the teacher. Wiggling his legs and arms around.
The teacher turned his focus to a laughing Eddie.
"You too Kaspbrak."
"W-what?!"
"Now."
Eddie sighed and exit the class with Richie.
"You just got me in trouble!" He whisper shouted to Richie.
"You're the one who laughed, besides it was funny."
Eddie smiled and rolled his eyes. "Okay maybe it was.."
Richie smiled and rubbed his neck with his thumb. "Well at least we are in trouble together."
"That's not helping."
"Excuse me?" The teacher interrupted. He quickly pulled his hand away.
Eddie's breathing tensed up, thinking he saw them. He gave the two death stares.
"I expect better from you Kaspbrak."
He nodded, "yes sir."
He turned his focus to Richie, "Detention for you."
Eddie looked shocked, but didn't say anything.
"What?! Again, this isn't fair."
"No it isn't, so go now. I don't wanna see you for the rest of the day."
The teacher turned and walked back in class.
"i dOnT wAnNa sEe yOu fOr tHe rEsT oF tHe dAy." Richie mocked him.
Eddie laughed, "can't believe you got detention again. It's only the second week."
"It feels like we've been here forever.."
"Kasprak!" The teacher yelled from inside.
"C-coming!"
"I gotta go Rich."
"Wait Ed's, I probably won't see you for the rest of the day." He looked both ways in the hallway then kissed his forehead.
"Come to Stans later, climb through my window."
Richie smiled, "good thinking." He pat Eddie's face and walked away.
Eddie smiled and walked inside the class.
•TIME SKIP•
Lunch
Eddie took a seat next to Stan and Ben. Everyone there except Richie.
"Where's R-Rich?"
"Detention."
"Again??!" Bev said trying to act surprised.
"Yup."
"Well I also have Detention today." Bev laughed.
"After school."
"What'd you do?" Ben said.
"Nothing. I just didn't feel like working so she told me I get detention."
"T-that's s-stupid." Bill said.
"Ya think?"
"I have a test tomorrow." Stan sighed.
"In what?"
"History."
"History is easy, what do you mean??" Eddie laughed.
"Maybe for you, but I can't seem to understand."
"You know what I can't seem to understand?" Bev started.
"Richie is actually good at everything, he just gets shit because he roasts the teachers."
"He does." Eddie laughed.
"I'm glad your having fun with him though." She laughed.
"You're in two of his classes, that ain't fair. Richie is the only one out of all of us in one of my classes."
"How are you and Richie by the way?" Stan asked.
Eddie smiled and blushed. "Really good. Like really really good." He laughed.
"Better than ever."
Bev smiled.
"He still gets me in trouble though."
She laughed, "Richie gets everyone in trouble."
Eddie looked down at his food, "This stuff is disgusting."
"Damn right." Stan picked up his rotting apple.
Eddie threw up in his mouth, "'I'll be right back."
He rushed to the bathroom, but didn't throw up. He sighed and wiped water on his face.
He saw Henry though the mirror, and spun around.
"What the fuck do you want Henry?"
"Nothing." He held up a knife and smiled.
He expected a reaction from Eddie, but no. Nothing.
He sighed, "Do you ever stop?" He turned back around.
"Y-you're not scared?"
Of course he was. He's terrified, but he can't show it. He can't show weakness.
"Why would I be? You've tortured me enough,
go ahead and do it again."
He sighed, "fucking loser." He scoffed and walked out.
Eddie let out a sigh or relief then walked back to the lunch table.

Last period
Eddie has physical education, he loved playing some sports. But the teacher wouldn't let him at times because he believes he's sick. But Eddie liked having free time sometimes, so he could either spend time with Richie or write. Richie had this class with Eddie, but would sometimes pretend he's ill to hang with him. Not on this day.
He sat in he field; he sighed and watched other people play games.
I wish I could do that
He looked back in his book then kept writing. He then heard his phone buzz and looked at a message. He smiled.
