I sat on the edge of the bed holding the pill bottle.The bathroom door opened revealing Liah with a towel wrapped around her body.
"Oh my god...that was so relaxi..."her voice trailed off as I held up the bottle
"while you're pregnant Liah? WHILE YOU'RE FUCKING PREGNANT?!"I threw the bottle across the room
"Jah.."
"Don't 'Jah' me! I swear to god Liah, if something happens to my daughter because of them fucking Xans!"
"STOP YELLING AT ME! I DIDN'T TAKE THE XANS!"
I chuckled sarcastically and rubbed my chin "you expect me to believe that?"
She looked taken back "um yes..I do"
"Liah, you were addicted to them Xans! You couldn't have an anxiety attack for 5 seconds without having them! and you're telling me that you had the Xans in you're purse and you didn't even take one?"He questioned
"No, I didn't. I admit I was thinking about taking them but I didn't...I couldn't"She whispered the last part
"I'm taking you to the doctor in the morning"I said
"You don't believe me?"
"Hell no I don't believe you! It's a higher dose too? Yeah, you definitely took at least one"
She scoffed and nodded "okay"she mumbled
I shook my head in disappointment "Who gave you them shits man?"
She remained quiet as she sat on the bed.
"Liah? Who the fuck gave you Xans?"
She started to dry herself off, ignoring me.
"Is it somebody I know?"
She didn't say anything, she just continued to dry off.
"ANSWER ME LIAH!"I yelled causing her to jump
she covered her face with her hands, I can tell she was crying.
"You wanna start crying now? What you crying for? You looking real guilty right now"I said walking closer to her
"You don't trust me"she sniffed
"Imma ask one more time, who gave em to you?"
She sighed deeply looking up at me "a-a guy from school"
"Who?"my jaw clenched
"Markese Rolle"
I closed my eyes and shook my head. I knew exactly who he was, me and him never liked each other. Hell, we even fought a couple of times back in 9th grade.
"How do you even know that nigga?"
"I don't know him..I just saw him and Gazzy make a few transactions"She mumbled
"Liah, what the fuck were you thinking?"
"I wasn't thinking"
He scoffed "No shit"
"..I didn't take any of them Jahseh"she said
"I really hope you're not lying to me Liah"I mumbled before walking out
Kentrell pov
"Yo...that's Jahseh walking out the hotel?"KD said
"Yeah, I wonder where he's going"I smirked
Jahseh stopped walking and started to look around.
"The fuck he looking for?"Three mumbled
"I don't know" I shrugged
Jahseh quickly turned back around and walked back into the hotel. "This nigga weird"I chuckled
"If he would've left, that would've been the perfect time to get her"KD said
Liah pov
I tied the robe around me as I heard the door open. I walked out the bathroom and saw Jahseh closing the door, He stared at me immensely.
"What's wrong?"I asked
"I had a weird feeling when I went out there...l-like somebody was watching me"He said running his hands through his dreads
"Did you see anybody?"
"No"he sighed looking down
"Did you ever go to your therapist?"I asked
"No, I thought I was doing okay"
"You ever thought that maybe it wasn't paranoia? And that maybe you are being watched?"
"By who?"
"Did you forget about Three? I mean it would make perfect sense...you haven't been feeling this paranoia until he came"
He rubbed his chin and looked at me "you think he's following me?"
"He could be"I shrugged
Jahseh sighed and walked towards the bed. He took off his shoes and laid on the bed. I closed bathroom door and made my way on the bed. I crawled on top of him causing him to slightly glare at me.
"What are you doing Liah?"
I tried to kiss his lips but he moved his head "I'm not in the mood for that"
"Oh really? Well that's fucking surprising"I scoffed getting of off him
"I know damn well you don't expect me to have sex with you, not after you put my daughter in harms way"
"Okay first of all! She's not your daughter, she's our daughter! And secondly, I told you I didn't take the Xans! Why don't you trust me?"
"I don't wanna argue right now Li"he said before closing his eyes
"I'm not trying argue with you, I just want to know why you don't believe me?"
"Go to sleep"He exhaled deeply and turned around, facing the wall.
"I don't want to go to sleep and you're not going to sleep either so get up"I pushed him
"Liah"He gritted, sternly
"Talk to me or I swear to god I'm walking out that door"
"Okay?! leave then"He shrugged
I nodded "Okay"
Without another word I crawled out the bed and grabbed my phone off the night stand. Jahseh quickly turned around and squinted his eyes at me. "Bruh. what are you doing?"
"I'm leaving"
He chuckled lowly "And where the fuck are you gonna go? We in Miami"
"Gimme ya keys, I'll drive back to lauderhill"
"I'm not giving you my keys"
"That's fine. I'll walk"I shrugged
"Don't be crazy. It takes 45 minutes to drive here, do you know how long it'll take for you to walk back to lauderhill?"
"I guess I'll find out"I said walking towards the door.
"Liah? You being serious?"He asked
I didn't answer his question. I just walked out the door and headed down to the elevator. A few seconds later I heard Jahseh yell "LIAH!"
I pressed the down button on the elevator. It immediately opened as I stepped on in. I clicked the 1st floor and turned around seeing Jahseh rushing towards me but the elevator doors shut in his face.
I rolled my eyes before looking through my notifications. Just then I got a text message from Ayleks, telling me how great her night went.
As I sent the message, I heard the elevator doors open. I walked off the elevator without looking up, I bumped into someone making my phone drop.
"Oh shit, my bad shawty"He said picking up my phone
Jahseh pov
Man, this girl is fucking trippin like where the fuck is she gonna go with a fucking robe on and no shoes?
The elevator doors opened and I immediately stopped in my tracks seeing Liah talking to Melly.
"What are you doing in Miami?"She asked
"I travel all over Florida due to my music career. I had a show out here"He said
"Oh, that's dope"
He nodded "what you doing out here with no shoes on though?"he chuckled
She laughed along with him "My boyfriend just pissed me off"
"You came out here to cool down or leave?"
"Well, I was gonna walk home actually"
"Walk? Don't you live in Lauderhill?"
"Yup"
He chuckled "It would literally take 11 hours for you to walk back to lauderhill. Let me and my homies give you a ride"
"Um-"
"She ain't going no where with you"I spoke
They both looked at me. Liah rolled her eyes at me and focused back on Melly. I'm not even gon' lie that hurt my feelings a lil bit.
"Oh. Hey, Jahseh right?"He asked
"Yeah. Liah come on let's go back upstairs"I said making my way to her
"I'm not about to go back up there with you"
"Liah, it's getting late, I don't have time for this shit now let's go"
"No"she mumbled
I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose "What do you want? You want me to apologize? I'm sorry okay? I'll talk to you, just please come back to the room"
"Um..I guess I'll see you around Liah"Melly said
She nodded as he walked away.
"Come on"I said grabbing her hand

"Your hormones are getting out of control bruh"He slammed the door shut causing me to jump
"Well, if you would've just talked to me I wouldn't have left"I mumbled
"Liah, that's no excuse for you to walk out the room with a damn robe on! Do you even have clothes on underneath?"
"Nope"I shrugged nonchalantly
His eyes widened for a split second. He grabbed the back of my robe and pulled it up. "WHAT THE FUCK BRUH?"
I chuckled lowly, covering my mouth. "Ain't shit funny! You walked in the lobby damn near naked!"
"I'm well aware of that Jah"I smirked
He groaned loudly "and where the fuck did that nigga Melly come from?"
"He had a show out here- we don't need to talk about that, we need to talk about why you don't trust me"
"Liah, you had the pills in your purse, hiding in a bathroom stall...That's why you walked off without telling me!"
"I wasn't hiding, I had to pee!"
"You practically snuck off"he said
"No I didn't"
He folded his arms across his chest "you really don't like being wrong huh?"
"Okay. Fine. I did sneak off"I admitted
"Why'd you sneak off Li?"he asked in a nonchalant way, as if he already knew the answer
"Because...I was debating on if I should take the pills or not"
"And If I wouldn't have walked in the bathroom when I did...you probably would've took the pills huh?"He asked
"Yeah"I mumbled, avoiding eye contact
He walked towards the pill bottle and picked it up off the floor. He went to the bathroom and poured it all in the toilet, flushing it down.
"You going to the doctor Monday"He mumbled walking pass me
"I didn't take any!"I yelled
"Okay, we'll see"He nodded
"You know what? Fuck it, don't believe me...I-"
I got cut off by my phone ringing, Ayleks was calling.
"Hello?"I answered
"Hey girl, what's wrong?"She asked
I sighed, rubbing my forehead "It's a lot, I'll fill you in tomorrow"
"You sure?"
"Yeah...I'm about to go to sleep"I nodded
"Okay, I'll call you first thing in the morning"She said
"Okay"I mumbled hanging up
Jahseh grabbed the sheet off the bed and a pillow. He threw the pillow and the sheet on the couch before laying down.
