Hey guys! Sorry for slow uploads. School has come back so I am focusing more on that.

I'm sorry if this chapter is lazily written, haven't been getting inspiration lately as I've been so busy. ):
It's basically a filler chapter of what happened inside of Tori's house, that's why it's so short, apologies!

The girls stood in the doorway, frozen, unable to move. Jaws down to the floor with Jade protectively in front of Tori, as if shielding her from the monster that was in front of her. A living hell, that's what he was. He made Jade's life a living hell and she'll do anything that she can to make sure that won't happen again.
Even to the person that she loved.
She wasn't afraid of her father anymore. She taught herself to not be afraid of anyone but herself.
But who can never be afraid of the monster who caused the one pain she always had stalking her life forever?
Tori cowered awkwardly behind Jade, her head peaking over her shoulder to see what the commotion was. Even the four police officers stood there and just watched and the behaviour was just unusual.
"You shouldn't be here," Jade muttered quietly, her voice filled with darkness. Her eyes made up of an empty void. "You're not real."
"Jade," the man said. His voice was deep as goosebumps crawled up Tori's skin as she tried to hide herself from him. "I know this is unexpected, but..."
"But what?" Jade snapped. "But what? Huh? You came here just to scold me again? Well do it, these officers are gladly here to take you to jail."
The room filled of silence again, but it seemed even more quieter than before. Tori hated the silence as much as she hated seeing Jade in anger and pain and frustration. Tori felt incredibly weak all of a sudden, knowing there wasn't much she could do instead of getting her face smashed. That would be very interesting sight to see.
It's not the pain, it's who it came from.
"I wish I could hurt you the way you hurt me." The thought multiplied and swarmed around the raven-haired girl. But something inside of her felt like it was pulling her back than forwards towards her father.
Suddenly, someone coughed, and a smaller woman stepped up towards Jade.
"You are Jade West, is that correct?" the woman asked. She was dressed like all the other officers in the room. Her face was serious and Jade had never felt so nervous to stand in front of an officer before.
Jade didn't respond, but instead ignored the woman stepped back a bit and feeling Tori's small body behind her to make sure she was still there. She had the oppurtunity to escape, but that would be a waste considering the police was in the room.
"What are you doing here?" Jade asked, putting her hands to her hips firmly as if trying to intimidate her dad. She always did that when she wanted to appear superior to those around her.
The small police woman stepped up and whispered into Jade's father's ear for a moment, then motioned towards the other officers and making her way towards the doorway. Jade and Tori stepped to the side and the officers all left the house one by one, leaving the girls alone with the raven-haired girl's father.
Jade had suddenly expected for the man to begin his screaming at her. Her chest was heaving up and down nervously as she braced for an attack. Tori continued to stand behind Jade, trying to shield herself away. Jade had her arms merely wrapped protectively around Tori.
"Answer my question you jackass," she demanded firmly, her voice hoarse but brooding. "If you're here just to take me back to a place called home, then I'm not doing it. I don't care if it means that you'll just kill me right here. I'm not agreeing to go home and listen to all of your pity lies. This is a life I've wanted to live and you constantly stop me from it."
Tori placed a tight grip on Jade's arm to get her to calm down. It eased the girl a little bit but not entirely, knowing that everything around her was still as real as it was before. Comfort was all that she needed at this point, and Tori was glady giving her it.
The man didn't reply, instead took a giant step forwards towards the both of them to the point where he was just inches away. This caused Jade to push Tori back towards the open doorway, still in each other's grasp.
"Well?" Jade hissed. "Can't you see that I'm happy right now? You controlling my life made you happy, so why not letting me be free with the person I like make me happy?"
"I understand." her father groaned.
"Clearly, you do not," Jade said back harshly. "You clearly do not understand the deep depth of liking someone for who they are in the inside, instead of shoving puny lies down their fucking throat."
This was followed by more silence. Jade was ready to grab Tori and run to the car and drive off, hoping that her father would leave as well. The silence sent shivers down Jade's body as the goosebumps danced along her skin.
"Let me see her." her father demanded.
Jade's eyes widened. "No, you fucking psychopath!"
"Let me see!"
"NO!"
"Jade," Tori said calmly, feeling relaxed after finally letting the name of her girlfriend roll off of her tongue. "Jade, calm down."
"I cannot calm down if I'm going to let this asshole step in between us, Tori." Jade scowled towards her girlfriend.
Tori shook her head willingly, then stepped off to the side. Jade's father's gaze followed Tori as he observed the brunette, narrowing his eyes and puckering his lips tightly. Jade couldn't help but glare towards her girlfriend. What the hell is she doing?
"Mr. West." Tori muttered quietly.
The man cocked his head to the side. "So you're the girl that my daughter likes."
Tori only shrugged. "I guess you can say that's me."
Jade gazed at the brunette, colour pouring in her cheeks and seemingly amazed that the girl wasn't that much afraid of her father as she was.
A small, brief smile appeared on the man's lips but quickly faded away as he turned back towards Jade, who was also staring at him with fire in her eyes.
"I'm sorry," her father started, his eyes lightening. "for not letting you live the life that you always wanted, for shielding you away from the world, for not treating you like my real daughter. I know my mistakes and I know that you can never recover from that. But I ask you this, if you can just give me another chance, I can prove to you that I can change myself."
Jade's eyes widened even more as she felt the ice slowly melt around her, the warmth coming back inside of her body.
"I𑁋" was all she managed out. She didn't know what to say or what to do.
The man sighed, turning back towards Tori.
"Treat my daughter well, okay?" he asked, his eyes pleading.
Tori only nodded eagerly. "Yes, of course."
Jade's father folded his hands together and straightening his posture. He nodded towards Tori and stepped beside them and out the door in silence. The girls watched as the man climbed into his car and drove off soundlessly.
This caused Tori to smile so hugely and made her face towards her girlfriend with glee on her face. Jade could only manage tears out as Tori felt onto her chest with a soothing hug, feeling as the clouds were leaving the skies already.
"Oh my, God," Jade let out her tears on her girlfriend's shoulder. "I can't believe that happened. I can't believe that fucking happened."
"Me either!" Tori jumped up and down, her arms still around Jade. "So does this mean we can stop hiding our relationship?"
Jade let go of Tori and wiped off some of her tears.
"You know what," Jade said and smirked towards the brunette. "I guess so."
Tori gasped happily and leaned in proudly to capture Jade's lips onto hers. Both of them leaned into each other's touch as Jade closed the door surprisingly with her combat boots, still focusing on accepting Tori's presence and molding their bodies within one another. She couldn't ask for a better person to love. No one could make her heart skip so much. It made her happy knowing that Tori would always be there for her, as she would for Tori. If anything, she would gladly hope to see nothing but a future between the both of them.
"How are you so fucking beautiful and just so real," Jade lightly gasped as she said the sentence in between luscious kisses. "No one on this world is as beautiful as you."
Tori could feel the deep blush creeping in her cheeks. "My one and only."
