Those eyes, those beautiful brown hazel eyes, put me into a daze.
I came back to reality and shook myself out if it. I gave him his books and as I stood up I realized it was the guy who came into my class earlier.
He gave me a funny look as we stood up, then gave me a small smile, held out a hand and said,
"Gerard, Gerard Way"
I smiled and took his hand to shake it and said,
"Frank, Frank Iero. Or as they say the new kid."
He smiled and said,
"Being new doesn't matter to me. So you obviously aren't in my year, two things, one I would've known if there was a new kid around, two your, urm, a bit small, and three frankly you just look to young so."
Yes I was small, but I was small for my year let alone his.
"I'm 14, almost 15. What about you?"
He replied,
"I'm 17 almost 18"
I smiled at him and we walked down the corridor together. We parted as I had to go in a different direction as him, we didn't say goodbye just kind of waved to each other.
I smiled as I walked to class. He was so cute and adorable. I had made a friend for once and it was such a great feeling.
I was looking at the floor smiling, unaware of the four jocks approaching towards me.
I bumped into the larger one. I looked up and said,
"Sorry I-"
And before I could even finish what I was saying his hand was around my throat. He bashed me into a locker, causing my feet to no longer touch the ground.
I was clawing at his hand trying to get him off me. He dropped me. I gasped for air, and as I looked up I felt his fist fly across my face.
Another guy kneed me in the stomach. I spat blood out into the floor. I was clutching my stomach in pain, this hurt so bad. Why are they doing this? I didn't do anything.
He said,
"Your the new emo kid. Better watch your back scum!"
Regretting it immediately i said, weakly,
"Me scum, ha, have you looked in the mirror lately"
I'm not to sure as to why I said that. Stupid thing to say really, but it was too late, he turned back to me and punched me straight in my face. I landed on my back.
He kept on repeatedly kicking me in the stomach, and punching me In my user region. It hurt so much. I could feel the pain running all throughout my body. Then suddenly I heard someone running up the corridor towards us.
They jumped on the big guy and punched him in the face, kneed him in the stomach, and finally spat in his face.
He looked terrified, grabbed his buddies and walked off, but not without saying,
"FUCKING EMO SCUM!"
It was Gerard! He held out a helping hand and I took it. I clenched my stomach I was in so much agony.
Gerard said,
"Come on let's get you to the nurse, your not going anywhere else"
I agreed and we walked side by side, slowly all the way to the nurses office.
