So when I finally got out of bed and put on a cute outfit to start the day, I never thought I'd end up here.... here as in walking into the tomb with my brothers.
"Let me get this straight, you're married to this Klaus guy?" Damon asks me for the hundredth time.
"Yessss," I hiss, "Now hush," I then shove past him. Stefan snickers.
"Let's do it," Damon nods once we make it to our stop.
"1, 2, 3," The boys count then move the rock from the cave entry way.
"Please..." Katherine's voice rings out, "Come on in. There's plenty of room for all four of us," She then comes into view.
"I'd rather poke my eyes out," Damon retorts.
"Mmm, they're such pretty eyes," She flirts. Ew, but she's not wrong.
"We're here for the moonstone," Stefan gets straight to it.
"Feel like tossing it over?" I throw out.
"Tell you what," She leans against the wall and clears her throat, "You get your little witch to hocus pocus me out of here, you can have whatever you want."
I roll my eyes. Of course.
"I thought you liked it in here," Stefan reminds her of her words, "Nice and safe, where Klaus can't get to you."
"On second thought, maybe I will come in after all," I tell Katherine. Stefan puts his arm up to lean against the wall, and of course block my path.
"I've had time to reconsider," Katherine sasses.
"Meaning you're hungry," Damon sums up.
"I'm starving, Damon. And dirty. But above all, I'm bored."
"Pfff, I'm bored and I'm out here," I let her know. My brothers roll their eyes at me.
"At least running from Klaus isn't boring," Katherine grumbles. "So here's the deal— you get me out of here, you get the moonstone and I'll disappear from Mystic Falls forever."
All three of us Salvatore's look at each other, not buying her crap.
"Let me know what you decide," She flashes the moonstone to us.
Thinking we were done when we left I was gonna head home, but oh no, my brothers had a different agenda. We stop at dumb Elena's house. She opens the door quickly.
"Hey," Stefan breathes out, "Can we talk?"
"Why?" She asks confused.
Stefan turns to look at Damon and I for back up.
"We went to see Katherine," Damon blurts out.
"Come on in," She frowns and moves out of the way.
We move to are kitchen. I take a quick glance around. Hmm cute house, mines better.
"You don't believe her, do you?" Elena rejects once we tell her about our morning trip.
"No of course not. We just want to moonstone," Damon replies as he tosses an apple between his hands.
"According to Rose's friend Slater, there's a way to destroy the spell that Klaus wants to break," Stefan explains.
Good, I don't want him to get anything he wants ever again.
"No spell, no doppelgänger sacrifice. Bummer," I add.
"Ergo, you live," Damon points Elena. Hence the bummer.
"How do you destroy it?" Elena crosses her arms at us.
"By releasing it from the moonstone," Stefan clears up. Okay, that sounds stupid.
Elena looks unpleased, "How do you guys even know this is gonna work?"
"Cause we have a crafty witch on our side," Damon perks up.
They could have two, butttt, I keep my lips sealed.
"You discussed it with Bonnie," Elena figures out.
"She agreed to do a thing she could to help us," Stefan nods.
"It's Katherine who has the moonstone. She's not going to give it up," Elena argues.
"We're gonna get it from her," Stefan insists.
"Well, what he means to say is that we will pry it from her cold, dead hand if we have to," Damon puts precisely.
"I like that plan much better," I add with a smile.
"Bonnie just needs to find a way to release the seal long enough for us to get in, get the moonstone and get out in time for her to return it," Stefan strategizes.
I don't want to be involved in that.
"Wow. I mean, it sounds like you guys already have it all planned out," Elena ungratefully sneers.
"Yep. We're awesome," Damon praises.
"You're welcome," I scorn.
"Except for one thing," I knew Elena would give me a headache before we left! "I don't want you to do it."
My brothers and I look at each other like she's crazy.
"You aren't my boss," I point my finger at her.
"What are you talking about? Elena, we don't have a choice," Stefan doesn't understand.
"What about Klaus?" Elena brings him up.
"Who cares," I drone.
"We'll fine him. But after we get the moonstone," Stefan assures.
Woah. Wait. I don't want to do that.
"Is that before or after he kills everyone that I care about, including the three of you?" Elena complains.
She cares about me? Why?
"Elena, if we can de-spell the moonstone we can save your life," Stefan tells her.
I am sure he will still come for me. But he doesn't know where I am so win win I guess.
"I know. Everybody keeps saying that," She mutters.
"Actually I've said the opposite," I make note. She gets up and leaves.

I go back home after the stupid Elena drama. I am currently about to go upstairs when I see Elena just lets herself in. ARGH! Can I not have one fucking second?
"It's not nice to leave a girl naked so early in the morning," Rose says coming around the corner tying a robe, then notices it's Elena and I. "Woah. Sorry I thought you were... and I didn't know you were home." Wait that means, ewwww.
"I, uh, sorry, I.." Elena stutters looming away.
"There's no one else here," Rose tells her. Exactly, I was gonna have an empty... well almost empty. Honestly I forgot Rose was here.
"Actually I came to talk to you two," Elena surprises Rose and I. Say what?
"Then I should probably get dressed," Rose smiles.
"And I should get a drink," I frown.
A few minutes later we meet up in the living room and Elena tells us what she wants.
"It's a bad idea," Rose shuts her down right away.
"No, it's not," Elena stands up for herself, "From what Stefan told me, your friend Slater obviously has more information about Klaus. You don't count," She adds when I got to open my mouth before going back to Rose, "You and Damon just gave up before you got it."
"Because somebody blew up a coffee shop with us in it," Rose justifies.
"There is more to learn. Mystal isn't willing to say anything, and she may not even know everything if there's new stuff. We just have to find a way to learn it."
"Why are you coming to me with this," Rose gets irritated.
"Yeah, I was wondering the same thing," I pipe up.
"Because you own me," She tells Rose, "And you might speak up about something or I thought you'd might wanna know too? Plus, your the only Salvatore that seems to be on my side about these kind of things."
I laugh, "You mean your trips that my brothers don't like?" I correct.
"And one word from me, or her, and Damon and Stefan could have killed you for kidnapping us," Elena says confidentially to Rose not acknowledging what I said.
"Or maybe it's because like Mystal said, you know that they wouldn't want you to do this," Rose backs me up, "And their moonstone caper gives you a chance to sneak away and use her?" She motions towards me.
"We're having a disagreement, ok?" Elena fires back, "They're willing to risk everyone that I love and I'm not," Elena can't fathom their plan.
"They're just trying to protect you," Rose sticks up for them.
"And you've both proven that you couldn't care less whether I'm protected or not," Elena shrugs, "So we're back to you taking us to Slater."
Well she has a point there. Elena is persistent I will give her that. Somehow I always end up included in whatever she says though. Rose takes a seat on the couch with Elena and I.
"What exactly do you hope to achieve by this?" She looks Elena dead in the eyes.
"How would you like to be able to walk during the daylight," Elena bargains.
So I guess she assumes I will just go without bribery. Rude to assume.
"I've been a slave to shadows for 500 years. What do you think?" Rose answers immediately.
"I think I know a witch who's willing to do whatever it takes to help," Elena says with ease, "If you're willing to make a deal."
"If that's the case, get me a little one on one with your little witch, and I'm in," I clap. Even though she wasn't striking a deal with me just then, I will not go for free.
