I went shopping very fast for the masquerade ball. I chose a purple and black dress. It went mid thigh, covers most of my shoulders with sheer black material. It has purple flowers with black background and a black belt with a gold chain on it. Purple and gold earrings, purple clutch, a purple and black mask with some lace and silver jewels, and very high stilettos with slits. I put on very little makeup even though I have a mask since I'm sure it'll come off at some point and put my hair in a messy but cute bun, with loose curled wringlets.
I examine myself in the mirror for a while, loving my look. I look hot. One last thing, I tuck my wedding ring necklace under my dress. Let's do this.
The party is at the Lockwood's house, out of all the places. There are many people here when I arrive, and they live in a mansion! Well damn, they know how to throw a ball. There's even entertainment people with fire. I have been to fancy extravagant parties before don't get me wrong, but it's been a while.
"Do you see her?" Damon asks as he waltz's up to Stefan and I as we stand looking around.
"No," I answer.
"Are you sure you can do this?" Stefan taunts.
"Yes, I am," I reply with confidence.
"Who are you talking to?" Damon scoffs as in a 'of course I can'.
"I had the chance to kill her, and I hesitated," Stefan begrudgingly says.
"Well, that is the fork in the road between you and us, my friend," Damon smirks and points to me, "I don't hesitate and I don't think minnie us will either." I nod in agreement but curl my nose up at the nickname.
"You spent 145 years loving her and you were best friends with her. It could happen," Stefan negotiates.
I roll my eyes. Bringing up ones past is hurtful.
"I won't hesitate," Damon rushes out.
"Ditto," I smirk.
"Ok," Stefan nods at us, then takes off.

I watch Stefan from a safe distance as he dances with Katherine, and tries to negotiate. It's not going well.
Then this girl comes over thinking that it's Elena, and surprise surprise, Katherine kills her! Shit.
Katherine shoves the dead girls body into Stefan. "The moonstone, Stefan. Tick-tock," Then she walks away.

Damon and I wait inside for Stefan to deal with the body. He's pacing and it's putting me on edge.
"I put the body in the trunk for now," Stefan informs as he joins us. And now he's really stressed, great.
"We can dump her when we get back," Damon calms him.
Stefan scoffs, "This is exactly what I didn't want guys."
"Stefan, it's collateral damage," Damon shrugs it off.
"Yes exactly. Who cares about that right now, you need to chill and focus," I firmly try to get him back on track.
Stefan points his finger at us, "Right, which is why we need to call it off."
"Hell. No." I'm getting pissed now.
"What? Who's hesitating now?" Damon asks.
"Hey. Don't do this to us!" I whisper shout.
"Exactly. This woman ruined our lives. She destroyed us. We just got Mystal back, after all this time because of that bitch. Tonight it ends," Damon spits out.
"We can do it together. We have each other's back," Damon grabs Stefan and I's shoulders.
"He's right. The 3 of us are back together, we're stronger than ever now. Stronger than that bitch," I state confidently.
Damon strongly nods along, then looks into Stefan's eyes, "Alright?" Damon checks with Stefan.
"Alright," Stefan takes a deep breath. I sigh relief as Damon proceeds with the plan and texts Jeremy.
I leave the room to go take shots or something when I spot Blondie, in a fabulous red dress may I add, staring at some guy that's laughing with a girl.
"You don't seem like the jealous type cupcake," I announce, walking up behind her.
"Geez!" She jumps, startled, "Are all of you Salvatore's great at sneaking up on people," She sighs back.
I shrug as the boy I now think it's Mark? Matt? smiles at her and she smiles back. Gross, leavingggg. I get a text from Jeremy, yes I was not very happy I had to exchange numbers with him, that it's my turn. I walk around until I find her.
"Well, well, well, it has been far too long Katherine," I sneer as I approach her.
She turns around, looking at me with wide eyes. Hmmm, caught off guard, wow.
"No way," She mumbles, "Can it be.... The Mystal Salvatore, still alive and well," She puts her hand over her heart.
"Had to come home eventually, right?" I harshly reply.
"So what are you Salvatore's up to? Hmmm. Damon and Stefan rope you in already?" She taunts.
"What do you mean?" I innocently ask.
"Well I've got Jeremy Gilbert, if you know who that is, luring me out to the lake. What's going on? And where is the moonstone?" She fires away, desperately impatient.
"The moon what? Look, I don't know what you're talking about. I's just here to enjoy the party like old times," I smirk. "Ask her," I nod in Blondie's direction, "She knows, like, everything right? You've been here longer than me, toodles," I smile in victory before waving my fingers, and walking away.
I then text Caroline it's her turn. She barely gets by me before Katherine grabs her arm tightly.
"What are Damon, Stefan, oh and now Mystal, up to?" Katherine growls.
"Nothing that I know of," Caroline breathes out.
Katherine, not liking that answer, speeds her over to a wall and slams her head on it. I swear this annoying ass blonde better do her job. Katherine spins her around and puts her hand up to Caroline's neck.
"Don't lie to me, Caroline. They're up to something. Mystal, if you've met her yet, told me she doesn't know anything. Now either she is in the dark or she is lying. But she seemed pretty clueless to me, as per usual. Either way I can't get it out of her, but I can you. What it it?" I smirk at Katherine's words, proud that Katherine knew she wasn't going to get any info out of me and believed I was dumb.
I hear neck popping, gross.
"Wait, no. Ok." Caroline chokes out, "They're trying to kill you," She strains.
"I figured as much. Where's the moonstone?" Katherine brushes off what she was just told.
"Bonnie has it," Caroline sighs in defeat.
"And where is Bonnie right now?" Katherine pursues.
"I don't know," Caroline says, ruder this time.
Katherine, of course not buying it, picks her up by her neck. For the love! Can we get on with it. I've decided Caroline gives me a headache almost like Jeremy does.
"Ok. She's upstairs. She's upstairs," Caroline rushes our. Katherine releases her with ease then jerks Caroline by her arm upstairs. I follow.
"Why do you keep dragging me into this?" Caroline cries out, "I don't want to be a part of this." I roll my eyes.
"Shut up. Which room is it?" Katherine is getting annoyed too.
"It's that one," Caroline whines.
"Where is she?" Katherine asks after barging in.
Caroline then starts to laugh, "I did it. I really didn't think that I'd be able to fool-you, but... I did it," She actually seems surprised in herself.
For a moment, I actually feel proud of her since she is a newbie vamp and all. Ugh no Mystal, stay on track. I am snapped out of my thoughts by Katherine trying to run at her only to be stopped by the witchy thing Bonnie did. Glad to know she accomplished her part.
"What the-?" Katherine starts off, she is taken aback.
I walk up from behind Blondie, "Aww Katherine," I do a pouty lip, "You seem stuck," Then a huge smile takes over, "Good. You deserve it. Real quick, I just wanna say it's not been one hell of a ride. Good riddance," I blow her a kiss, "Se you in hell." She looks at me very shocked before sighing and rolling her eyes.
"Stefan?" She calls out without even looking as Stefan walks out.
"Hello, Katherine," He greets.
"Good-bye Katherine," Caroline waves and leaves.
My goodbye was much better. I've been rehearsing. I stand in the door way, but making sure not to enter. I didn't want to be a part of the show, just enjoy it.
"You really don't think that you can kill me with that, now do you?" Katherine taunts.
Stefan thinks for a moment, looking at his chair-leg stake,. No. But he can." He refers to Damon as he walks out of the closet with a big weapon and shoots her in the back.
"Yay!" I clap as she groans.
Stefan stabs her again in the arm. I need popcorn. Stefan goes for another one but this time Katherine stops him.
"Boooo," I put my thumb down as she shoves him.
Damon takes out the stake from her back and goes to stab her but she grabs his arm too fast. God damn it, boys can't do anything. She then throws him against the wall. Stefan uses the wrist weapon to throw some more at her, but she ducks the first one and catches the second one, joy. I would go in but my brothers specifically told me to not to. Now she is throwing Damon to the side. He got up fast and tries for another stab but Katherine bends his wrists backwards.
"You need to leave now," Damon tells me with a strained voice.
"No!" I shout.
"We'll finish this," Stefan orders me.
"Yeah Mystal I would listen before you accidentally get yourself stuck in here, 3 is company, 4 is a party," She smirks.
"Be safe," I mutter.
As I turn around and head downstairs Jeremy runs past me, practically plowing me over. Rude. I need a bathroom to splash some water on my face and then a whole bottle of something strong to distract myself.
3rd Person POV
Once Jeremy revealed that Katherine and Elena were linked, the fighting stopped, and now all 3 are trapped in the room.
"The three of us together like old times," Katherine makes conversation. "Well there is suppose to be 4. The brother who loved me too much. The one that didn't love me enough. And the sister who blindly became best friends with me," She taunts, and tells the brothers she's bummed that they made Mystal leave.
"Hello Katherine," Damon greets.
"Where am I?" Katherine asks, very confused.
"Where you should have been all along," Damon states, " I thought you would have learned your lesson by now about messing with a Bennet witch."
"You should have killed me," Katherine chokes out.
"Death would've been to kind," Damon snaps.
"No! Damon, don't," Katherine pleas, "Damon, don't. You need me. Elena and Mystal are in danger."
"From who?" Damon pauses from pushes the stone over the entry way, "you're lying. You're always lying."
"Why do you think I haven't killed Elena yet? And why I didn't kill you sister tonight? Because Elena's the doppelgänger and Mystal got herself into some deep stuff that she hasn't told you and Stefan yet. They need to be protected," Katherine informs Damon.
"Then I will protect them," Damon tells Katherine bravely, "while you rot in hell."
"No. Damon, don't. I'll do anything. Please, Damon. You need me. Damon! You need me! You need me!" Katherine begs and yells as Damon shuts her in.
Back to Mystal's POV
I've had probably too many drinks, but ya know, a girls gotta celebrate. Damon and Stefan have been blowing up my phone, knew I shouldn't have given them my number. I've ignored them in attempted to enjoy my fun. Stefan would scold, Damon would probably join though. But no worries, I'll make sure we all celebrate once I get home, even Stefan.
I finally make my way out of the Lockwood's Mansion. What a night. I can't wait to see Katherine dead!
Just then I hear footsteps coming up behind me. I figure it's just someone walking out of the party too until they get closer. I turn around to see someone in a mask that's a little creepy for my taste. Before I can proceed the person snaps my neck, and of course, I'm too drunk to react fast enough. Mother fucker is my last thought before I go unconscious.
