'Blue and Yellow Diamond find themselves standing in the technological sector of the homeworld Diamond base, a look of anticipation on their faces as a bright glow shines through the window infront of them'
'The glow slowly fades leaving the two Diamonds to breath a sigh of relief, Blue then turns to Yellow with a look of uncertainty'
Blue: "Yellow are you sure this is a good idea?"
Yellow: "Yes I am, it is time for this to happen, and quite frankly I believe the results will benifit him" 'Yellow says with a confident tone'
'Blue hums to herself as a group of Peridots come out with a large object covered in a tarp'
Yellow: "Is he still at his colony base?" 'Yellow asks carefully picking up comparatively tiny object in her hands'
Blue: "Yes, he has been over seeing it for the past star cycle" 'Blue says as the two Diamonds begin to walk out of the laboratory'
'Back on Chip's colony he can be seen walking among the Hematite gems along side Stretch pointing out areas to build structures'
Stretch: "Are you sure the storage compartment should be dug into this side?" 'Stretch asks with a slightly confused voice'
Chip: "Yep, through this wall is a pure carbon deposited it can not only be mined out for the storage area but we can also use the carbon to power the generators" 'Chip says while he scans the cliffside'
Stretch: "Huh...I did not think of that" 'Stretch says in a slightly impressed tone'
'Chip finishes his scan, a slightly more tired look crossing his face as he puts more weight onto his walking stick'
Stretch: "Are you feeling well?" 'Stretch asks as Chip stumbles slightly'
'Stretch reaches a hand out and places it on Chip's arm only for him to bring it away from her'
Chip: "Get your hands off of me" 'Chip says darkly, his voice glitching slightly'
'Stretch backs away visibly alarmed, Chip's Diamond shaped eyes have turned from a fully blue color to the bottoms of them being a dull red color'
'Chip's face turns slightly alarmed as he realizes his outburst, his eyes flicker momentarily before returning to normal'
Chip: "Oh...I'm sorry I-Im not sure...what-" 'Chip says chuckling nervously only to cut himself off as he stumbles once more relying on his walking stick to hold him up'
'Chip looks down to his gem noticing the glow in its center flickering inbetween blue and red'
Chip: 'Y'know what, I think I'm going to go rest for a bit in my throne room...." 'Chip says with a tired smile managing to get Stretch to relax a small bit'
'Stretch was about to respond only to be cut off by Chip making a portal to his throne room and walking into it'
'Once in his throne room he sits down taking a few deep breaths, his gem continuing to flicker'
Chip: "Initate full body scan" 'Chip says causing a large light to shine down on him from the center of the room'
'The light passes over him before disappearing, a notification appears on his hud causing him to squint slightly'
Chip: "No errors found?" 'Chip says with a annoyed sigh as he places one hand on his gem feeling the pain slowly fade'
'Chip feels his eyes slowly start to close, a overwhelming feeling of exauhstion coming over him'
'The moment he closes his eyes they shoot open once more only this time he finds himself standing in a massive black and grey colored hallway'
'Chip blinks in confusion, he subconsiously reaches to his gem only to feel it is no longer there'
'In a slight panic Chip looks himself over, he is back in his Metamorin form, he still has his new update only his gem seems to be missing'
'Chip falls into a sitting position, his eyes having turned black while he laughs to himself nervously'
Chip: "Well I guess I'm sitting here for a while untill I figure out what is going on!" 'Chip says with a shaky voice'
'Out of the darkness a Blue glowing see through hand picks him up by the back of his jacket lifting him into the air'
Chip: "Or not!"
'Chip finds himself sailing through the air only to collide with the door at the end of the greyscale colored hallway, the door flying open as he falls to the ground'
Chip: "Oww.." 'Chip says placing a hand on his head'
???: "Ah there you are! Nice of you to finally drop in...." 'A male voice says causing Chip to look up'
'Infront of him is a massive nearly the size of his half Diamond form a black diamond in the center of his chest producing a low red glow he can also be seen wearing a red and black lab coat'
'Chip watches in confusion before the familair face of Pink Diamond walks in a pink glow around her'
Pink: "Sorry! I was running late so I had to hit the ground running!" 'Pink says with a shrug of her shoulders as she stops next to the slightly taller gem'
???: "For hitting the ground running you sure are late, no warp pads?"
Pink: "Nope! I took the scenic route, grabbed a thing you might need!" 'Pink says pulling a large bottle like object out of her gem'
Pink: "Now is there any reason you're staring down the energon sample like it offended you?" 'Pink asks gesturing to the small vial of glowing white liquid in the Gems hands'
???: "No, I was just waiting for an epiphany, instead I'm getting a migrane..." 'He says with an annoyed sigh'
'While the two talk Chip stands up quietly, had they not noticed him? He was RIGHT there....or can they not see him?'
'Pink takes the sample from the gem with a small chuckle before placing it on the counter infront of them'
Pink: "Well here's some "Coffee" as you call it for your migrane" 'Pink says with a slightly confused but still happy voice'
???: "Thank you Pink...It is much appreciated" 'The gem says with a tired smile'
Pink: "Dont mention it Blood, so wanna catch me up?" 'Pink says causing Chip's eyes go wide as he watches the scene unfold'
'This was Blood Diamond? How is her seeing this right now? He didnt travel through time again....this is different'
'As Chip stands shaking, his eyes begin glowing a vibrant blue, a dark red figure floats next to him'
"You felt like somthing was VERY WRONG" 'The figure says in a doubled voice releasing a dark chuckle'
'Mere moments later the figure is covered in a Pink glow before its thrown to the side'
'Chip looks forward, Blood Diamond can still be heard talking as he gestured to a animal skull like robot to the side'
'Pink can be seen looking back at Chip, her left hand raised and covered in a pink glow and a concerned look on her face'
'Chip is about to say somthing only for Pink to shush him quietly only causing him further confusion'
Blood Diamond: "Pink? You got awfully quiet" 'Blood Diamond says turning slightly'
Pink: "What? Oh yeah! I'm done with my bit, your turn. Im going to guess you ran into some sort of road block?" 'Pink says turning back to Blood Diamond a single bead of sweat falling down her face'
Pink: "Start from the beginning, maybe thatll help you come up with a solution?" 'Pink says causing Blood Diamond to hum to himself'
Blood Diamond: "The begining...alright"
Blood Diamond: "Let's starts with the first problem.....the lack of soldiers and the growing hostility with the Metamorin species" 'Blood Diamond says as he begins pacing'
Blood Diamond: "Due to the increase in hostility from the Metamorin species and their advanced form of technology we have been searching for a way to combat them if needed. One way we have done this is with "The Artiface program"
Pink: "Right, taking a Metamorin Chassis and placing a gem inside of it to controll it"
Blood Diamond: "Correct, however there is a problem"
'Blood Diamond sighs before grabbing a jar of gem shards and then the sample of energon to his left'
Blood Diamond: "When we place a gem inside of a Metamorin body the Metamorin is still within controll, we have even resorted to using cadavers and repairing them and it STILL DOES NOT WORK, even the cadavers that have had their processors destroyed retain their personality!"
Pink: "Right, so the gem cant controll the body"
Blood Diamond: "Correct! It by all means, DOES NOT MAKE SENSE!" 'Blood Diamond says with his voice glitching as he clenches his fists'
Blood Diamond: "When a gem is shattered their soul becomes inert and fragmented, the only time their soul fragments regain consciousness of some form is when forced into fusion!"
Pink: "So their existence would technically go on as a memory" 'Pink says as if adding onto his rant'
Blood Diamond: "Right! But when a Metamorin dies it's like their soul and mind is BURNED INTO THE FABRIC OF REALITY"
Blood Diamomd: "I mean! Just look at the corpses in storage, there's hardly a consistent factor! What is it that is holding their personality to the Chassis?!"
'While Blood Diamond continues to ramble Chip stands listening with black eyesockets, a feeling of unerving dejavu begining to creep up his robotic spine'
Blood Diamond: "And the worst part is? That makes sense! Because Metamorins DONT MAKE SENSE!" 'Blood Diamond says throwing his arms down to the ground in annoyance'
'Blood Diamond takes a deep breath before composing himself fully'
Blood Diamond: "Anyway, what we have been able to accomplish is using Metamorin technology in conjunction with gem technology forming a weapon capable of being GIVEN to a gem" 'Blood Diamond says as a red figure begins to appear next to Chip again'
Pink: "You mean the "Diamond Blasters" 'Pink says causing Chip to tense up, his eyes beginning to flare a red color'
Blood Diamond: "That is not what they are called"
Pink: "That's how I put them down in my notes"
Blood Diamond: "Well its wrong, stop being a smartass"
"You dont remember this. Maybe you don't WANT to remember this"
"There's a confusing sense of nostalgia, but and even greater sense of DREAD" 'The red figure says floating next to Chip, his eyes slowly turning a vibrant red color'
"So what'll it be kid? Ignoring the problem?" 'The figure says in a voice similar to Chip's almost as if mocking him'
Chip: "Nah, not this time, infact I think I'm gonna be a bit more stern with my approach" 'Chip says as his right arm turns into a blaster'
Blood Diamond: "Ah....hello...there" 'Blood Diamond says turning to Chip, his face begining to crack slightly'
Blood Diamond: "I did not notice you before, I suppose you.must be curious about what happened next?" 'Blood Diamond asks while a somber look grows on Pink's face as she begins to dissolve'
'The large metallic animal like skull begins to shudder, its empty eyesockets turning on with glowing red Diamonds in each of them as it tears itself off the wall'
'Chip stumbles back slightly noticing the activation if the metallic beast'
Chip: "What? Nah that's allright I'll pass, didnt mean to intrude or anything" 'Chip says backing up through the red figure'
"YOU ARE LOOKING INTO THE FLOW OF TIME" 'The red figure says as the metal skull floats upward'
Blood Diamond: "The next experiment proved to be rather interesting... even if I did not intend for it to be like this"
"AND SOMTHING IS LOOKING BACK"
'Chip is stopped by a hand on his shoulder, he quickly turns around only to be face to face with a very damaged and cracking Pink Diamond'
Pink: "Look buddy...you gotta throw me a bone here..." 'Pink says as a red liquid begins to leak out of her mouth'
Pink: "You KNOW somthing is wrong, and you think you can 'deal' with it by yourself. But here's the real deal" 'She says as her left eye shatters and falls to the ground'
Pink: "You need to be careful with which fire you are fueling....cause if you dont....you wont like what happens" 'Pink says just in time for a mechanical roar to grab Chip's attention'
'A large red blast collides with Chip head on from the mechanical beast skull'
'Chip then instantly shoots awake in full combat mode, he stands in his throne room breathing heavily with his left arm turned into a massive energy cannon while he holds his walking stick in his right hand'
'After a moment Chip takes a few deep breaths slowly calming down, the door opens quickly grabbing his attention'
'Blue comes charging into the room with a worried look on her face, her gem flickering a bright blue'
Blue: "Are you allright?!" 'Blue asks picking Chip up quickly looking him over'
Chip: "I....think so? What happened why are you here?" 'Chip asks in a mix of confusion and shock'
Blue: "Me and Yellow were already on our way here....but then I could feel your gem it was....in distress you..." 'Blue says slowly begining to calm down'
'Moments later Yellow comes charging into the room her hands covered in electricity while Hematite stands on her shoulder with her spear drawn'
Yellow: "What is going on!?" 'Yellow ask as she looks around the room as if under attack'
Chip: "Yellow you can calm down, I think...i just had a nightmare again is all" 'Chip says placing a hand on his gem'
'Yellow and Blue share a look of uncertainty before Blue places Chip down'
'The Hematite rushes over to Chip's side with her weapon drawn, she stand beside him protectively waiting'
Blue: "Now, the reason we came here to begin with was to give you you're present!" 'Blue says trying to lighten the mood'
'Yellow places down the object before ripping off the tarp with her index finger and thumb, Chip's eyes widen in a mixture of shock and surpise as a whirring sound echoes throughout the room'
