"I want her found! It has been 2 years she can't hide forever!" Mateo slams his fist on the table. "Keep looking! Every state, every country, every town. Search everywhere!"
All of the men got back to work tapping on their keyboards and tracing steps on maps. Mateo turns toward the window. "I will find you il mio amore" He clinches the photo in his palm and turns back to the group of men. "And this time, I wont let you go." Mateo walks out the room and to his office.
~4460 miles away in Pisa, Italy~
"Luca Alexander Cooper get over here right now and put her shorts on!" Rue yelled down the hall to her now 2 year old son.
"No! You will has to catch me first mommy!" Luca yelled back as he runs down the hall in his diaper. Rue runs after him.
"Luca! Shorts now! Or mommy will be late for work!" Rue yelled at her son.
"What is all this yelling about?" Ava asked as she walks around the corner to see Luca running towards her. "Luca what's going on?" Luca hides behind her legs.
"Mommy is trying to make Luca get clothes on but Luca say no!" He hides his head as Rue comes to a stop in front of Ava and Luca.
"Luca, come in honey. We need to get ready so mommy can go to work!" Rue begged.
Ava turned to face Luca, "I'll make you a deal, if you go and get ready I will make us come chocolate pancakes! But you have to get dressed right now." Ava told Luca whose frown turned into a huge grin very quick.
"Ok!" Luca answered as he ran down the hall to his room. He stopped at the door and look at his mom, "aren't you comings mommy?" He asked as he went inside.
'Thank you' Rue mouthed to Ava as she headed to Lucas room.
Rue hurried and got Luca dressed and fixed his hair.
Rue puts Luca in khaki shorts and a blue short sleeve button up shirt. She puts his blue vans on him and sends him to the kitchen.
Rue goes to her room and grabs her work clothes and goes into her bathroom. Rue starts the shower and starts to undress. Rue looks in the mirror as she always does and looks at the scar that goes from her left collarbone across her breast to her lower left rib. She can't help but recall the memory of how she got the scar..

"You aren't allowed to talk to other men!" Mateo yelled at Rue. He once again had to much to drink. "No men other then me!" He demands as he shakes the empty bottle around in the air as he gets more and more mad.
"I-I'm sorry." Rue mumbled.
"Your sorry? Your sorry?!" He shouted as he slams the bottle against the coffee stand and points the broken end at Rue, "You should be! You cheated!" He declared as he walked closer to Rue until she is against the wall. He takes a step back and looks at Rue. A flash of anger glistens across his eyes as he takes a fast step forward to Rue, but slips on the broken glass sending him to fall forward. The broken end of the bottle heading toward Rue. And before she could move the bottle sliced right through her shirt and down her chest. Rue let's out a scream of pain as she falls to the floor and holds her chest. Mateo looks up and her and to the bottle-

Rue rushes the memory out of her mind and wipes the tears falling from her eyes. Not today she tells herself.
