Y/n POV
A sound spills out from between my lips, but I soon realize.... I have no words to sing. I continue to wait for the familiar itch of the words sliding off my tongue. It never comes. But the melody, oh the melody, sounds as if there is more than one voice, and it is a symphonic sound. I love sound, and I also can appreciate the absence of it. I hate my voice, but the sound, the sound shooting up from a place deep in my soul, it is beautiful. It's odd. I'm not humming; my mouth is open. I'm not singing words, gibberish and none of that la la la shit. I'm just simply.... singing.
