Wayne's POV
"Nigga wake the fuck up! Its 12 in the afternoon!" Vince yelled banging my bedroom door.
"Vince shut the hell up. You know there's people that live here too!" I heard Drew yelling at Vince.
I been in my room for the longest since Ebony got shot. I felt like a mess. While I was watching TV out of nowhere Vince and Drew got inside my door.
"How the hell you get in here when the door was locked?" I asked.
"I got my ways nigga." He said. "And come on ya been in ya bed since Ebony got shot.' He said.
" So why you bothering me?" I said.
"Cause we have to go to the mall." He said .
"Why?" I said putting my face into my pillow.
"Well cause I'm um.... Finna propose to Ava." He said. I picked my head up and smiled.
"Damn nigga, I see tryna get it together before the kid pop out." I said.
"Yea Bruh, I'm tryna make ha wifey." He said.
"So what does this have to do with me?" I asked.
"Well since Ebony in coma, I want ya to help me find a ring for her." He said.
"Listen I know we been niggas since diaper days but don't mean you bout have me look at wedding rings with ya." I said.
"That's why we taking Autumn and Drew since they always with Ava they probably know what type of ring she might like." He said.
*At the mall*
We been in this food court for an hour since Autumn, Vince and Drew fat asses wanted to eat. Then the part that pissed me off the most was when they tried to bring the food into the jewelry store knowing damn well they can't eat in there.
"Are y'all fat asses done eating?" I asked. They all nodded their heads . We made our way to the store.
"Autumn show us which ring Auntie Ava said she was in love with." I said.
"That one." She said pointing to a silver wedding ring with a nice big ass rock on it.
"How much is the engagement and wedding rings?" Vince asked the owner.
"Well together it $34,000." He said. Vince paid the owner and we were leaving until I heard someone say my name.
"Wayne." The voice said. I turned to see Tika and some dark skin tall guy next to her.
"Hey Tika." I said as we hugged.
"Hey. This is my husband Lance, Lance this is Wayne my uncle was telling you about." She said.
"Nice to meet ya." Lance said. " I'm sorry to hear about your girl." He said.
"Yea hopefully she wakes up soon. Oh my bad, this is my best friend Vince, Ebony's little brother Drew and my daughter Autumn." I said.
"How you doing princess?" Lance said.
"I'm good. Are Ms. Tika husband?" She asked.
"Yea. Hopefully our daughter comes out as beautiful as you." He said.
"Aww thank you." She said .
"So I'll see you at the hospital." Tika said.
"Yea." I said.
Ava's POV
"Hey girl. Its been a 2 weeks already since ya was in coma. Wayne's been missing you, well everybody misses you. Well your godchild is fine. Girl when you finna wake up, I need you sometimes when Vince is at the trap with Wayne I don't have anybody to talk to on the phone late at night to keep me company. School has been pretty good, that fine ass professor asked where you was." I said to Ebony's lifeless body.
I miss her so much. Everything was so boring without her.
"The only nigga you should be calling fine is me." Vince said walking in with Drew, Autumn and Wayne.
"Whatever. Where was y'all at?" I asked.
"At the mall ." Vince said.
"What was y'all doing there?" I asked.
"Um we was um... Drew!" Vince said.
"We went the uh I .. Autumn ." Drew said.
"Well auntie we ate some food and um uh.. Daddy!" Autumn said.
"We went to go eat there and brought some um um shoes." Wayne said.
"So y'all all left me in this hospital by myself just for shoes?" I asked.
"Yup." Vince said.
"Whatever. So what we doing tonight?" I said.
"We going on a date." He said.
"But I wanna stay home." I whined.
"Don't whine like that before daddy give you something to whine about." He said.
"Ooh then give me what I want." I said seductively hitting my lip.
We then heard someone clear their throat.
"Don't y'all know we in here." Wayne said.
After a while of chilling , we finally went home and got ready for our date. I wore a blue dress with mesh long sleeves with black heels and my hair straighten.
"Baby ya ready?" Vince said walking in with a blue long sleeve button down shirt, black true religion jeans with his all black retro 13s. My baby looked cute.
"Yea." I said. We went to the car and it took us like 20 minutes to get some nice looking restaurant.
"Bae is this place closed? Ain't nobody here." I said.
"Nah its open." He said.
We walked into a restaurant, it was completely empty. We followed the rose petals to a candle light dinner .
Vince pulled my chair for me. I sat down and he kissed me passionately before sitting in his seat.
While we were eating desert. I seen Ginuwine walked in, I nearly had a heart attack. I turned to Vince to see him smiling at my reaction.
"This is for you Ava, the most special lady to Vince Freeman." Ginuwine said before he started singing Differences which was Vince and me's song.

Then he left leaving Vince and I alone.
"Ava, I know we been through a lot since we started dating in freshman year, but I feel like we need to closer. Lord knows I will do everything in the world for you. I don't wanna be your boyfriend anymore." He said then getting on one knee. " I wanna be your husband forever baby. Will you be my wife, Ava Skai Williams?" He said.
"Yesss. I will be your fucking wife Vincent Kaleb Freeman!" I screamed.
He put the ring on my finger . First I'm having a baby with him and now I'm marrying the man of my dreams.
Wayne's POV
I couldn't believe what I did that night. Ebony been so loyal to me and I went behind her back and cheated. I know for a chance if she wakes up she won't forgive me.
My started ringing and I picked up.
"Yes Tika?" I said.
"Well we did surgery on Ebony and removed the bullet. She's finally awake and good." Tika said.
So hey y'all , I wanted to make another update since in Jersey we didn't have school since Thursday.
