3rd person's POV
"That Jungkook did all of that just because he was so obsessed with his stepsister?"
Taehyung felt a pang in his chest as if his wounds were still fresh from that memory. His hand that was holding the knife shakes as he felt his arms turning limp. He suddenly lets go of Jimin who was just there stoic like he is, unbothered to even move even though he was somehow already freed.
How could Taehyung forget that part of Jungkook's life?
He can't possibly do that since it was a part of his painful past too. (A/N: Remember the last paragraph in Chptr. 49? If not then go back for a little while xP)
Taehyung was always there with Jungkook although he was scared and conflicted. Seeing Jungkook push that girl off of the windows as if it's nothing still haunts him but it never became a reason for him to hate Jungkook.
He could never hate Jungkook because he is so in love with the boy.
He isn't stupid though. He knew that Jungkook still doesn't feel the same towards him even though they were together for a while now. He just shrugged all of it, giving Jungkook time to love him back because he believed that that day would come.
After that incident with the dead girl though, Taehyung noticed something going odd in their town. The reports about people getting murdered became too often that it started getting alarming for every resident of their town.
The Busan police even nicknamed the unknown murderer as the "Bloodhound Killer" since they reported that the killer seemed to know its victims' whereabouts as if the killer was trained for hunting them. The victims were always found either in every place where they often go to or in their workplaces when no one would be around at the time when they were killed.
Taehyung told Jungkook about it one day because he wanted to warn Jungkook about not going out late at night for his safety. But Jungkook's response only made him turn pale.
"It's not something to be scared about, Tae," Jungkook started patting his hair with a smile. "People are destined to die anyway."
It was as if he got his answers back then even without a question being raised.
He didn't tell anyone about it.
But he definitely knew that Jungkook had something to do with all of those murders happening in their town.
Then one day, he got the news that Jungkook's father suddenly got remarried and now Jungkook's stepmother and stepsister would finally stay at Jeon's residence.
Everything just turned even more messed up by then. Jungkook changed. They almost never hang-out anymore. Jungkook almost forgot about him... or maybe Jungkook already did.
And it all just happened in a span of a whole week of stay of Jungkook's new family.
He visited Jungkook once in his home. But instead of seeing Jungkook alone in the house, he saw the latter kissing someone on the couch.
His very own stepsister to be exact.

"Isn't that right, Jungkook?" She chuckles before staring right at Jungkook's eyes, breaking Taehyung's thoughts.
"Say something... Your little boyfriend here might be curious to know what happened back then." She winks at Jimin who couldn't even move an inch, the latter's eyes still boring on Jungkook as he cried silently.
Jungkook suddenly felt an immense pain in his head that made him groan from how much it throbs. He gritted his teeth and screamed for the pain to stop but it only seemed to get worse, he felt as if his skull would almost break into two.

"Jungkook-ah~"
Jungkook heard her voice. Her voice sounds sweet and cheery like always. He hated it when he first met her but now he realized that it was the most gentle voice he ever heard. He didn't know that it would feel really different being with someone else other than his father in the house.
He didn't like the idea of his father remarrying another woman. But when his father said that his mother died from committing suicide, he never expected that he would be thankful.
At least all of the pain in his body would finally stop coming. All of those purple bruises hidden beneath his clothes he wore every day wouldn't decorate his body anymore.
And he wouldn't feel the need to hurt anyone anymore just because he felt it was so unfair for him to suffer alone.
Ever since her stepmom and stepsister arrived, he somehow felt peaceful. Especially because of Jieun.
His older stepsister.
They've been staying in their home for a week now and Jieun always wanted to hang-out with him. He never allowed it at first but she always had her ways on him. There's just something about her that he could relate himself to although he couldn't pinpoint what it is exactly.
He didn't realize it but they're getting closer and he's slowly getting interested in her.
"Jungkook-ah! What are you doing here?" She asked him as she sat beside him on their leather couch, some random show on Netflix echoing in the living room.
He didn't answer her at first because he wanted to tease her but he did not expect her to just tickle him on the side making him slightly jump. He gave her a glare but she still continued teasing him so he decided to tickle her back.
"Jungkook-Pfft--stop it, no--Hahahaha!" She giggled and laughed as Jungkook didn't stop tickling her sides.
It was when she fell with her back on the couch accidentally pulling Jungkook that made them stop. Jungkook realized that he was now hovering over her as she pants still smiling. She just looked pretty in Jungkook's eyes that he didn't realize that he already leaned closer kissing his stepsister.
He pulled away almost immediately with his widened eyes staring at her surprised ones.
"I-I'm so sorry, Jieun-noona! That shouldn't happen I was just--" Instead, he was shut up when she pulled him on the collar kissing him back.
Jungkook knew it was wrong because they were somehow now related. But it was a first for him. He somehow stopped hearing those voices in his head at that moment.
He thought he could finally get better.
Maybe he could also get rid of all of those voices and dark thoughts in his head.
Maybe Jieun could help him.
Jieun was a nice girl. She would always tell him how much he means to him. She would shower him with so much attention and would always show how much she cared for him. Jungkook felt important for the first time in his life.
"Jungkook-ah... can I ask you a favor?" She asked him once whilst they were having dinner alone because their parents are in some sort of a late-night date.
"What is it, Noona?" Jungkook asked with a smile.
"You see... I met someone in this neighborhood days ago whilst I'm having a walk around. And um... I heard that your school is pretty nice... So I figured that I want to transfer to your school?" Jieun held Jungkook's hand as she smiled at him. "Do you think you can help me say it to your--our father?"
Jungkook agreed immediately, not thinking about it as a big deal.
But then one day, Jungkook noticed something odd about Jieun's behavior. She seemed more excited every time she would go to school after her transfer to Busan High. Jungkook liked that she was happy.
But there's just something that started bothering him somehow.
Since he always comes home with Jieun now, he would always wait for her to come out of school. It was the same that day, he waited for her so they could go home together. Jieun was running late as the students started disappearing from the school as time goes by.
He waited until the sun was finally crawling down from the sky but beamed when he saw her walking out of school and even thought that she was running towards him with that smile he never saw on her before. But his smile faltered the moment he saw her run towards a man who looks like one of her professors.
Jungkook didn't fail to see her shy glance and smile towards her professor as they talk. Jungkook couldn't hear anything from where he stands but the moment he saw Jieun tiptoed as if she was about to kiss the man, he felt his whole body froze in place.
Jieun got pushed away even before she could kiss him and Jungkook saw the man's disappointed eyes on her.
Jungkook could see how the man mouthed some words and his sorry before he left Jieun and drove his car away.
That day, Jungkook realized that Jieun and he weren't on the same page.
Their kiss was just a one-time thing for Jieun and he was just irrelevant.
He figured it out when she came home right after he dashed away from school walking straight towards their house alone.
The moment she stepped into the house, she was already crying and sobbing from getting rejected. She didn't know that she would fall that deep for someone she barely even know but it happened the moment she saw him. She didn't think about anything else and ignored the fact that the professor whom she was in love with already had a family of his own.
Although she hated him for choosing his family over her who could give him so much more if he would just let her.
"He dumped me, Jungkook-ah," Jieun told Jungkook with her painful sobs, chuckling as if something's funny. Jungkook was just there on the couch with his head hang low listening to her.
"He told me that he could never reciprocate my feelings because he loves his family more than anything." Jungkook heard her bitterly scoff with her sobs still not stopping, "He treats me nicely and he always helps me out at some lessons I pretended I didn't understand. Why did he do that?"
Jieun turns to look at Jungkook with her eyes still full of tears. She slowly walked towards Jungkook as she sat beside him wanting to get comforted.
"Why, Jungkook? Why did--"
It was just a matter of seconds before she was pinned on the couch with Jungkook hovering above her.
But this time with a different intent in Jungkook's eyes.
His hands were around her neck as she coughs and gagged at how Jungkook chokes her.
"Why?" Jungkook asked, his voice sounded hoarse, deep, and somehow dark.
"Why did you pretend to care about me?" Jungkook's grip on her only tightened and she felt all of the air from her body slowly running out.
"Did you only did all of that so you can use me to get close to that bastard, huh?" He chuckles in amusement but his eyes never left her eyes that were turning blurry by now.

"Do you remember how mad you were that day, Jungkook-ah?" Jieun asked him as he still couldn't remember all of it. These familiar scenes flashed in his head but he still couldn't grasp all of it. His memories are still not clear.
"But don't worry, you didn't kill me that day since I'm still here. Thankfully, you stopped that time and you told me you were sorry... that you wouldn't do it again..."
"A few days after that though," She laughs before she now made her way to where Jimin was standing like a statue, Jimin's eyes looked lost. She stands behind Jimin, whispering her next words to the latter as her gaze never left Jungkook.
"You found where he is."

Jungkook dragged Jieun in his car telling her that he had a surprise for her. Jieun felt unsettled but she just let Jungkook drive the car.
They stopped first at this house she had never seen before. She was confused at first but then she saw his professor bidding goodbye to a boy who looked so much like him before he went in the car with his wife.
"Jungkook, why are we here?" Jungkook stared at him with a knowing smile as if he was telling her to relax.
"I told you, didn't I? It's a surprise." Jungkook told her before he started driving the car once again, following the car where she saw his professor hopping in.
Jieun had never seen that look in Jungkook's eyes before. Jungkook's eyes were just full of untold darkness that she couldn't comprehend.
Jungkook continued following the car. The road was busy that day but it didn't seem to bother Jungkook as he just stepped on the acceleration causing the car to roar surpassing every car that gets in their way.
"What the fuck, are you trying to kill yourselves?!" Someone shouted at them because of how fast Jungkook was driving followed by those angry beeps directed at them.
"J-Jungkook-ah... p-please drive the car slower," Jieun told him but Jungkook looked unfazed, his overcast eyes not leaving the car they were following.
And it was then when they were out of the busy road that Jieun realized what Jungkook had in mind.
They were getting closer to the empty-looking bridge where the car was heading when Jungkook stepped on the acceleration once again.
"NO!... NO, NO, NO, JUNGKOOK STOP!!!"
She stopped him.
But Jungkook already crashed their car to the one in front of them.

"Don't look down, Jungkook-ah... Look at your beloved boyfriend as you tell him how you killed his parents because of your twisted mind... Tell him how obsessed you are with your stepsister enough for you to do that... Come on, Jungkook... Unravel everything and do the honors." Jungkook saw utter disgust and hate in Jimin's eyes.
"Is it true, Jungkook?" Jimin spoke for the first time, his fists clenched on his sides as he blankly stared at Jungkook. He doesn't know what to believe anymore.
Jungkook felt the need to explain himself. He wanted to tell Jimin that even though he couldn't still remember everything that happened, he didn't mean to do it.
"I didn't mean to do it, Jimin! Please trust me... I... I couldn't have possibly done it..." Jungkook tried to find the right words but his tears just rolled down his cheeks begging Jimin to believe him.
"It wasn't me, Jimin." Jungkook pleads as he stares directly at Jimin's eyes that were now filled with nothing but resentment towards him.
It was only silence after that until Jimin spoke once again.
"Then who was it if not you, Jungkook?" Jimin spat without thinking much about his words now.
He had enough of all the lies that Jungkook feeds him.
"Who should I blame then?" Jimin asked him without even batting an eye, scoffing bitterly as he made sure to make his point across to Jungkook.
"You are one the same person, Jungkook."
