Pearl: "Garnet you cannot be serious" 'Pearl says furrowing her brow at the taller Gem infront of her'
Garnet: "I am serious, this will be good for him" 'Garnet says with a sigh'
Pearl: "He is too young to learn a bout that! He hardly knows anything about the world still"
Garnet: "He's more than that he is evolving!" 'Garnet says raising her voice momentarily as she turns around to face Pearl'
Pearl: "What...Do you mean?"
Garnet: "He is growing and learning at a pace that I am having a difficult time keeping up with, on top of that he is having issues regarding his memory having been reset"
Pearl: "So your solution is to take him to what is essentially a Metamorin Grave site?" 'Pearl asks bluntly placing a hand on her hip'
Garnet: "I'm not taking him just to any sight from the War, I'm taking him to the broken spire" 'Garnet says her voice taking a slightly more somber tone'
Pearl: "Garnet....you dont have to do that" 'Pearl says with a soft tone in her voice'
'Garnet sighs to herself before a small smile spreads across her face'
Garnet: "Its been two thousand years since what happened that day, I have had enough time to except what happened and....I think it will help him to hear about his people and what they did for us" 'Garnet says taking out a small coin like object'
'The coin is much larger than any earth currency but to Garnet it looks rather small in her hands, the center of the Coin has a dull glowing green sword carved into it'
Garnet: "Allright, I suppose the two of us should get ready" 'Garnet says with a smile as she begins to glow'
'Ruby and Sapphire unfuse showing the two smaller Gems in a rather different set of clothing than usual'
'Ruby is wearing a black bomber jacket with what looks like her idea of Black jeans while Sapphire has as usual a dress on, however the dress has a more casual look to it do to the red and blue pattern it has on it'
Ruby: "Woah! Do I look awsome or what?" 'Ruby says looking at her jacket a big smile on her face'
'Sapphire chuckles to herself as she places a hand on Ruby's face, Sapphire runs her thumb over what looks like a small scar under Ruby's right eye'
Pearl: "I completley forgot you had that scar...." 'Pearl says sighing softly'
Ruby: "Ehh I dont mind it, Gems normally cant get a scar but this one reminds of how much butt we kicked the day I got it!" 'Ruby says enthusiastically once more earning a laugh from Sapphire'
'Sapphire and Ruby walk up to the magic door both placing their hands on it causing it to open up into Chip's room'
'The two walk in to Chips room curiously looking around noticing the lack of a certain Cyborg'
Ruby: "He isnt in the secret room under his bed" 'Ruby says as she stands next to Sapphire'
Chip: "Sup mini moms!" 'Chip says as he hangs down from the ceiling infront of the two, Ruby jumps backwards managing to fall while Sapphire stifles her laughter'
Sapphire: "What are you doing up there?" 'Sapphire asks curiously noticing Chip is quite literally standing on the ceiling'
Chip: "Oh, I made these magnetic boots and I wanted to try them, I cant turn them off so I've been stuck up here for the last hour and a half" 'Chip says as Ruby stands up dusting herself off'
Ruby: "Allright gimme a sec" 'Ruby says jumping up grabbing Chip's hand, she hangs off of it trying to pull him down before she gives up and hangs off of him'
Ruby: "I have a feeling this didnt work out the way I planned it would..."
Sapphire: "I believe this requires a...colder touch for lack of a better term" 'Sapphire says as she floats upwards looking at the boots'
'Chip crouches down pulling Ruby with him, Sapphire places her hands on the boots causing Ice to slowly spread over them'
'Once the boots are covered in ice the glowing lights on them flicker before going out, Chip swiftly falls to the ground managing to stop himself using his foot thrusters'
Ruby: "Awsome, now we can get going!" 'Ruby says as Chip sets her down before lowering himself to the ground'
Chip: "Where are we going anyway" 'Chip asks curiously as Sapphire leads the group outside'
Ruby: "That is a surprise!"
Sapphire: "Correct, however we will need you to fly us there if you are feeling upto it" 'Sapphire asks smiling softly causing Chip to tilt his head with his eyes glowing a turquoise color'
Chip: "But how can I fly there if I dont know wh-"
Ruby: "Dont question your mother, fly now ask questions in the air" 'Ruby says pointing a finger at Chip accompanied by her squinting her eyes suspiciously'
Chip: "Allright, How are we going to do this?"
Sapphire: "I can hold onto your back if Ruby is allright with you carrying her" 'Sapphire says earning a thumbs up from Ruby'
'Chip crouches down letting Sapphire climb onto his back before he picks up Ruby by carefully wrapping his arms around her midsection'
Ruby: "And now...WE FLY!" 'Ruby proclaims loudly as Chip takes off into the air at a rather calm pace'
Chip: "So where do I go?"
Sapphire: "Fly south please, at this rate we should be there within the hour" 'Sapphire says carefully holding onto Chip's shoulders'
Chip: "I could go faster"
Ruby: "How fast?" 'Ruby asks curiously'
Chip: "I dont know,I havent gone full speed yet"
Sapphire: "Well, now is a good time to learn" 'Sapphire says gently patting Chip's head'
'Chip's Body flows blue for a moment before the thrusters on his back and feet erupt with a blue beam of energy that dissipates after a short distance'
'As Chip speeds up a sonic boom erupts almost immediately as he breaks the sound barrier'
Sapphire: "Oh my stars!" 'Sapphire says loudly as she holds onto Chip, a bright smile on her face'
Ruby: "Now this is what I call flying!" 'Ruby says cheering loudly'
'A small smile finds it's way onto Chip's face as he hear's his two adoptive mothers excitment, Chip fly's down by the water causing it to push out away from him due to the speed he is traveling at'
Sapphire: "How did you learn you could do this?" 'Sapphire asks curiously while Ruby traces her hands out along the water'
Chip: "I learned about it while we were at the motel, I managed to fly back home to cool down" 'Chip says causing Sapphire's expression to drop slightly'
'Sapphire looks up at Chip as if she was about to apologize, she stops herself noticing The bright smile on both Ruby and Chip's face's, Sapphire sighs to herself in slight relief at the lack of tension while continuing to enjoy the flight'
'In the distance a large castle like building can be seen in the mountains, on top of the castle is a large tower that seems to have fallen apart. The surrounding area of the castle and tower seem over grown with vines and foliage'
Sapphire: "Oh! That's where we are headed, land in the field!" 'Sapphire says patting Chip's head softly'
'Chip does as he is told landing on the field with a muffled thump as he drops from the air, Sapphire floats down onto the Ground while Ruby stands up stretching, her hair being spiked out from how fast they had been flying'
'Chip turns around looking around the area, large cobblestone buildings can be seen broken and over grown with even larger looking machines torn down and destroyed strewn about the area, a few of which even seem in rather good condition'
Chip: "Where are we?"
Sapphire: "This is "The broken spire" it was one of the last battles of the Gem War" 'Sapphire explains walking next to Chip'
Ruby: "Yeah, this was where the Metamorin's helped us, without them the assault would have overwhelmed us"
Chip: "What...do you mean?"
Sapphire: "We chose this place, because we wanted to tell you a little about what your people were like"
Ruby: "We figured it would help with your identity crisis you've been having" 'Ruby says rather Bluntly while Chip runs his hand along a behemoth sized machine sticking half out of the ground'
Sapphire: "Let me tell you the story of what the Metamorins called "Operation Blacksteel" 'Sapphire says as she looks out at the over grown remnants of the small village'
