Kage is flying fast towards the forest, with the Shady Man through a forest in Anima with his own motorcycle.
Kage: "How much further, pal?"
Shay D. Mann: "This should just about do it."
Kage stops her bike at a clearing.
Shay D. Mann: "You wait here. I'll go up ahead and make sure the coast is clear."
The Shady Man dismounts from the bike and runs into the bushes. Kage shakes his head in annoyance and discards his hood. Suddenly, someone pulls the trigger of a gun and Kage blocks the shot with a shield made of solidified shadow. The Shady Man reappears with several bandits in tow.
Shay D. Mann: "I can't believe you were dumb enough to let me lead you here."
The bandits present all have their weapons drawn at Kage.
Kage: "Is this everyone?"
Shay D. Mann chuckled as he spoke out to him.
"Yes, little punk. This is it. Well, unless you count the whole rest of the camp back that way."
He gestures behind him with his thumb. Kage points a finger in the same direction.
Yang: "That way?"
Shay D. Mann than grunts in confusion and looking at his tribe mates first.
"Yes. That way."
Kage: "Good to know. Thanks."
Shay D. Mann: Now to pay me back for this tooth, we're going to take your bike. And you're going to take your lumps
He punches his fist as he says this. Kage, however smiled, as he is waiting for a new friend of his to strike.
'Wait for my signal.'
Shay D. Mann than aimed his gun.
"You got the jump on me last time, sweetheart. But you really ought to think twice about fighting all—"
He cuts off when Kage engages the gun on his shadowy spike. The rest of the bandits gasp.
Shay D. Mann: "Alright... Get him!"
The bandits attack, but Kage than brings out a explosion in the sky that is made of shadow, and Sienna comes out of nowhere and defeats them. After the fight, Obscuro and Sienna than smiled sheepishly.
Shay D. Mann than coughed as he struggles to get up.
"Who are you? It doesn't even matter. When Raven finds out what you did, you're dead!"
Obscuro: Possibly. But I doubt it. I am the king of shadows, after all.
Shay D. Mann: (wide-eyed) "I'm dead."
The Shady Man falls to the ground, fainted. Kage than scoffed and looked at Sienna once more
"I have to say, you really are great at making the good calls. Alongside how you had healed back there."
Sienna spoke to Kage Gaster.
Flashback...Inside the Dark Abyss...
Kage is seen using an ancient spell of healing injuries. As he is now chanting, the wound began closing up.
Kage: "Gun hala un makan de kalon no ea kula/Heal of injured on righteousness to live on."
The magic once was used by a being of the Abyss. This is the chanting of healing, which allowed someone who chants it to heal those that they must consider as 'allies.' The drawback is that someone must use their own blood that is filled with evil and any that is corrupted. And Kage is the one that has this very thing.
After he finished, Sienna began to wake up, fully recovered. She than looked around, grunting.
"Ghhhh...where am I?"
She than looked around, and notice Kage next to her.
"Who...who are you?"
Kage than looked up and spoke out.
"My name's Kage Gaster. We've a lot of discussion that we must do."
Flashback ended...
Kage modded, before speaking out.
"It's time to go to the Branwen tribe. Come on."
He spoke and the both of them run to the direction the shady man points.
Back with Ruby's group...Training...
Oscar Pine and Ruby Rose are training hand to hand combat whilst Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren are looking on.
Jaune: "Man, Oz wasn't kidding. Oscar's picking up on this stuff fast."
Oscar hits Ruby straight in her face. Ruby recoils from the blow and looks visibly angry.
Oscar: "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!"
Ruby hits Oscar back and he lands a few feet away on ground as Jaune and Nora wince.
Ruby: "Ha! Yes! I did it!"
But Ruby's brief moment of cheering is replaced with concern as she looks back.
"Oscar?"
Ozpin: 'You forgot to engage your Aura, again.'
Oscar: "Why didn't you tell me?"
Ozpin: 'Because this method makes you less likely to forget.'
Oscar groans and gets to his feet.
Ozpin: 'Mind if I give it a shot?'
Oscar stiffens briefly while his eyes glow in a yellow light.
Ozpin: Not bad, Miss Rose. But Oscar doesn't have the years of training that you do. Or I do.
Oscar's body shimmers green as Ozpin engages their Aura. Jaune and Nora realize what Ruby is in for. Oscar determinedly approaches Ruby.
Ruby: 'Oh, ha, well, maybe we should uh... take a break.'
Ozpin attacks Ruby with a few punches aimed at her head, forcing her onto the defensive until he lands a blow to her face which knocks her back several feet. Ozpin closes the gap with a leap and kicks her in the face. Ruby leaps at Ozpin to throw a left cross which Ozpin evades by ducking and retaliates with a headbutt from below. Ruby is than lying down.
Nora: "Ouch."
Ozpin: "The next time you want to throw a left cross, remember to push off with the appropriate foot. And as always, do be aware of any openings."
Ruby strained as she sits up.
"Gooooot it."
Ozpin relinquishes his control and Oscar falls to the ground, panting.
Ruby: "Oh! Hey. Are you okay?"
Oscar: "How is this so exhausting?"
Ren: "Your body isn't used to this kind of training, not to mention generating a defensive Aura on your own. It takes intense concentration at first, but in time it will become second nature, allowing you to deflect attacks and gradually heal your wounds. After that, you can begin focusing on your Semblance, whatever that may be."
Oscar: "Semblance?"
Oscar looked confused, obviosuly never hearing this sort of thing.
Nora: "You know! Like your very own superpower! Everybody's got one. It's just a matter of finding it and mastering it. Ruby moves super fast, Electricity makes me stronger, Ren can mask emotions, and Jaune... can, uh, um. Hmm."
Jaune: I can't do anyth—"
Ruby: "Jaune's like you!"
Ruby takes Oscar by the hand and leads him over to Jaune.
Ruby: "He hasn't found his Semblance yet, but we all know he will. And you will, too. We all just have to try and help each other get stronger."
Yang: "While mine involves that when I get hit, I strike back with twice the power. Weiss can make glyphs, Papyrus also has speed to, and May has enhanced aiming. Penny even got one after absorbing a Crystal as a new power source, and gained the ability to 'Scan' anything."
Oscar: "Cool."
Ren: "A common philosophy is that a warrior's Semblance is a part of who they are. Some say your personality and character can define your Semblance while some claim that it is the other way around. Of course, there are still many who don't see a connection at all."
Nora: "It's hard to know when you know sometimes. Ren's Semblance was unlocked from intense stress."
Ruby: "And mine kicked in during training one day."
Oscar than turns to Nora and questioned to her.
"And what about you?"
Nora: "Oh. Struck by lightning. Didn't die. Craaaazy Thursday."
Jaune: "I just don't understand what's wrong with me. I train. I meditate."
Oscar's eyes glow momentarily as Ozpin takes control of his body again.
Ozpin: "Don't worry, Mr. Arc. Your journey is far from over. And the same might be said for all of you. Unlocking your Semblance isn't the end. It can still grow and evolve. Providing you're willing to put in the work, who knows what could happen."
Ruby than smiled and spike out to the others.
"Then let's get back to it."
In the other part of the yard...
Penny and Mecha are seen training as well. Penny is using her blades and crystals to train against Mecha, who is using his Bombs, blasters, and hard-light weapons that he can conjure.
Mecha is throwing his bombs at Penny, who used her swords do bat them away, while also shield herself perfectly.
"You are doing great, darling. But let's see how good.
Mecha does a dramatic pose, and launches a bomb at her, which exploded.
Penny than used her sword's gun mode, and opened fire on Mecha. The crystals glowed and made crystal shrapnels are hidden in the blast.
Mecha dodged them and used his lighting wings to blind her a bit, before launching a metal spike at her. Penny dodged and used her sword and aimed at him. While her swords no longer have the strings, and simply move at Penny's command, she can use the electricity that is emanating from the swords, and put them on her back. The same way she uses them, when he had them in string form.
When she positioned herself right side up, she than launched her swords in lots of layers, before shooting them at Mecha.
As she did this, Mecha than pulls out a force field made of white energy. This allowed him to block the blades without any dent. He than launched a Mecha Gaster Blaster attack on her. But Penny than made a green crystal in her hand, and planted it into ground, which made a crystal pillar and blocked it. Mecha than looks at her and spoke out.
"Not bad, Darling. Not bad at all. Your skills with the crystal are getting really more better. But we must train more on hand-to-hand combat."
Penny smiled and spoke out.
"I'll try my best there!"
Mecha nodded, before taking a stance, and so did Penny. After a minute, they then ran at each other. Mecha than did a punch to the arm, before Penny kicks Mecha in the stomach..if he even has one. With each hit, the sound of metal against metal is heard. Mecha than jumped over her and kicks her at the back, and Penny used her strength to punch him in the cheek, sending him flying. As she does this, Penny than noticed something...really unusual.
There is a strange being that is at the left of Penny herself. As she looks at it, Mecha came in and spoke out a warning to her.
"I'm coming!"
Penny noticed and prepares to block the punch, but Mecha stopped, noticing that ther is something wrong about her, strangely.
Mecha: "Penny...are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost."
He spoke to her. Penny sighed and spoke out, while sitting down on the stairs at the enterance.
While you were punched back...I saw something really...strange. It was a strange being made out of crystal and has a shadowy face, with a light-blue eye present. It was also floating...without any sort of wings helping. It was strange when I looked at him...his eyes. It's like I was staring into a deep, dark pit. Like it was ready to take away everything from me."
She spoke. She sounded scared. Mecha than put a hand on her shoulder. As Penny looked at Mecha, the robot of drama smiled at her.
"Nothing will suck everything away from you, Darling. You have a number of people with you. You have friends here with you. And here, the friends are family for us. So you know what, nothing will interfere with your life and how much you care for me and your friends. I can promise you that."
Penny looked rather surprised, it than smiled and spoke out.
"Thanks, Mecha. It means a lot to me very greatly."
He smiled, and the both of them rematches each other. Than they let go and Mecha spoke out to her.
"Now...let's go back to training with hand-to-hand!"
Mecha smiled and nodded her head, with great excitement.
"Okay!"
The both of them stand up, and Penny went to her previous position. Mecha did the same, but with dramatic poses, and running to it.
Back with Yang and Weiss...
Yang and Weiss were brought to the Branwen Camp by Raven. Raven has summoned them, because they want to tell her something that's really important. Before they could do that, however, 2 mysterious visitors decide to interrupt the important talk. Yang and Weiss were forced to hide inside the tent. The trend was, unfortunately, soundproof.
Bandit 1: "Look, our leader has nothing to do with you! Now get lost!"
But the person, who is supposedly still known as 'Obscuro' than spoke back.
"That is because she does not know what is still going to happen. And it is very important."
Them, a female called Vernal, grabbed Weiss weapon, and tried to strike lighting down badly.
"Enough!!"
But the lighting strike did nothing, as Obscruo summoned a shield to protect himself and his other friend, Sienna. Raven than looked very fumed.
"Why should I speak to you, Obscuro."
Silence, until 'Obscuro' spoke out, preparing to take off his hood.
"Because...of this."
He than takes off his hood, and when his face is finally revealed, Raven was shocked. The person in front of him has Sans' face. The black hair and the yellow eyes are what makes him very different.
"Why...do you have Sans' face?!"
Raven shouted at 'Obscuro' angrily.
"My name...is Kage Gaster. The older twin brother of Sans Gaster. If you listen to me...you will see why it is very important. This is a personal talk. No one else, not even your daughter or her friend, should know about this...until the time of reveal's right."
Raven was shocked, and Kage spoke out.
"So...do we have a deal here...Raven?"
