*One month later*
October 2013
Toby's POV
Tonight is Halloween and I'm really excited because Tori is planning a Halloween party here at our house! All of her friends are gonna be here, my friends are gonna be here; it's going to be fun! I'm currently getting ready for school and I'm brushing my hair. I already took a shower and brushed my teeth and my outfit is a white buttoned up long sleeved shirt with black stars on it, black jeans and gray high tops. Lita came in wearing a red sweater, white jeans and red high tops. Her hair was straight down and curly, she had on small earrings, clear lip gloss and black eyeliner.
"Wow you look really nice today." I said.
"Thank you Toby." She pecked my lips.
"Are you excited about the Halloween party tonight?" I asked.
"Totally! I can't wait!" She said grabbing my hands.
"Are you going to dress up?" I asked her.
"Maybe, I don't know what I'm gonna dress up like." She said. "What about you?"
"Nah I don't think so, I'm kind of too old for it." I said.
"Oh so you're a man huh?" She teased me.
"You're funny." I said squeezing her hands.
"Hey guys are you both ready to go?" Tori asked walking in the room.
"Yeah!" Me and Lita both said.

At school me, Lita, Maya and Josh were sitting at lunch eating and talking about the party.
"A Halloween party? That sounds exciting!" Maya said.
"Are you guys gonna dress up?" Josh popped a grape in his mouth .
"Totally! I'm gonna be a candy girl!" Maya said.
"I'm gonna be a pirate." Josh said.
"I'm gonna be a cat." Lita said.
"Are you gonna dress up Toby?" Maya asked as they all looked at me.
"Nah, I don't think so." I said.
"Please, for me?" Lita grabbed my hand.
I scratched the back of my head then looked at Lita and smiled.
"Okay fine, I'll do it." I squeezed her hand.
"Yay!" Lita reached over and hugged me.
"What are you going to be?" Maya asked me .
"Maybe I'll be a bodyguard." I said.
"A handsome one." Lita said.
"Right." I blushed.
"Hey Toby did your dad ever find those guys that beat you up?" Maya asked.
"Yeah, he did like last week." I said.
"I'm glad that he did." Lita said.
After lunch we threw our trash away.

Later on in the hallways, I walked up to Lita as she was getting something out of her locker. I put my hand on her shoulder causing her to quickly turn around and drop something.
"Hey sorry did I scare you?" I asked.
"No you didn't." She smiled as she picked up what looked like a photo.
"Hey what's that?" I asked.
"Oh this?" She held up the photo."
"Yeah." I nodded.
She walked closer to me and showed me the photo.
"These are my siblings." She quietly said.
"You have siblings?" I whispered.
"Yeah, this is my older sister Mercedes." She pointed to an older looking girl.
I put my arm around her as she continued.
"This is my other sister Carmen, and these are my three brothers. This is Diego, Hector, and Zack." She explained.
"Wow you have five siblings?!" I asked sounding shocked.
"Yeah." She giggled.
"How old are they?" I asked.
"Well... Diego is 25, Mercedes is 20, Hector is 18, Carmen is 12, and Zack is 10." She explained.
"Wow that's incredible!" I said.
"Yup, It's Diego, then Mercedes, then, Hector, then me, then Carmen, then Zack." She explained.
"How come their not with you?" I asked.
"Mercedes has her own house. Carmen and Zack stays with her. And Diego he's in the Military and Hector also has his own house."
"Oh that's cool, how come I've never seen them?" I wrinkled my eyebrows.
"They all live in Beverley Hills, I would really like for you to meet them." She smiled.
"Yeah that would be awesome!" I chuckled.
She then put the photo back into her locker and closed it. She walked over to me and wrapped her arms around me and buried her head in my chest.
"Can I ask you something?" I looked at her.
"Sure what's up?" She looked up at me.
"Does your siblings know that you get abused by your Dad?" I asked.
"Well to be honest no, Mercedes took Carmen and Zack with her because of him. But they don't know that he abuses me." She explained.
"Why didn't you just leave with them?" I asked.
"Because of school and I needed to be here with my Mom." She shrugged.
"And me." I grinned at her.
"This was before I met you silly." She giggled.
"Right, well now you don't have to worry about getting hurt anymore." I smiled.
"And it's all because of you, I always can feel safe whenever I'm around you Toby." She smiled.
She locked her fingers in between mines and stared into my eyes. I leaned in and gave her a quick peck on the lips.
"Is that what you wanted?" I laughed.
"Yeah." She blushed.
After another quick peck we went off to start our next class.

It's currently four in the afternoon and the party starts at seven. I'm in my room right now watching television.
"Hey Toby, what are you up to?" Tori asked me as she walked in.
"Nothing, just watching tv." I said.
"Are you ready for the party tonight?" She asked me.
"Yeah, I'm excited!" I said.
"Great, I'm going to go get decorations and our costumes do you wanna come?" She walked over and put her hand on my shoulder.
"Uh yeah sure. Can Lita come?" I asked.
"Of course! Where is she anyway?" She asked.
"She's at Maya's house." I said.
"Okay, we'll pick her up." She said.
"Alright I'll call her and ask if she wants to come." I said pulling out my phone.
"Okay, I'll meet you downstairs." She walked off.
I clicked Lita's name on my contact list and it started ringing.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Hey Lita!" I said.
"Hey Tobs what's up?" She asked.
"Listen, me and Tori are going out to get decorations for the party tonight and I was wondering if you wanted to come?" I asked her.
"Yeah sure I can go." She said.
"Great, see you soon!" I said.
"Okay see ya!" She said.
I hung up and went to go meet Tori in the car. I got in and put my seatbelt on.
"You ready to go little bro?" She smiled at me.
"Yeah let's go. I smiled back at her.
She started the car and we drove off to Maya's house to pick up Lita first.

After we picked Lita up from Maya's house we arrived at the party store. Tori was in an isle looking at decorations for the party while me and Lita were in the costume isle looking for costumes. Me and her were holding hands until she finally saw a kitten costume and she let go of me.
"Here's a kitten costume Toby!" She excitedly said.
"It's cute, and I think I found a bodyguard outfit." I said.
Before I picked it up I decided to mess with Lita, while she was still looking at her costume I saw this scary monster mask! I put it on my face and walked up behind her, I tapped her on the shoulder and when she turned around she jumped and gasped.
"Oh my God Toby you scared me!" She said.
I started chuckling and she did to.
"I'm sorry but I had to." I said.
"It's okay but don't do that again." She said while walking towards me and wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Okay I promise." I said while putting my arms around her waist.
"You better." She said kissing me.
Tori then came around the corner with basket full of decorations. It was a lot of stuff.
"Finished already?" I chuckled.
"Yup! Did you two find your costumes yet?" She asked.
"Totally!" Lita and I both said as we held up our costumes.
"Great! Now let's go and pay for the stuff!" Tori said as she pushed the cart.

Still Toby's POV
It is now six p.m. And I just got out of the shower. I blow dried my hair and brushed it then I put on my costume.
Lita then walked into the room with her
costume on.
"Wow you look great Lita!" I said.
"Thank, so do you!" She smiled.
"It sounds like some people are downstairs, ready to go?" I asked her.
"Sure let's go!" She said.
I kissed her forehead and we locked hands as we walked downstairs. When we got down to the living room everything looked fantastic! Their were tables full of snacks, drinks, food, games and so much more!
"Wow it looks great in here!" Lita said.
"Yeah it does, you really went all out Tori." I said.
"Thanks lil bro, everyone is on their way." She said.
Right when she said that their was a knock on the door. I went to open it and saw Maya, Josh, and Alice standing there. Maya had on a candy girl costume, Josh had on a pirate costume and Alice had on a butterfly costume.
"Sup guys, nice costumes!" I said as they came in.
"Thanks!" Maya said.
"I kind of had a hard time finding mines but luckily I did." Josh said.
"Nice costume Toby." Alice said
"Thanks Alice." I smiled.
Tori then came downstairs with her costume on, she was a witch. And then Trina came down, she was dressed as a singer even though she's terrible at singing.
"Tori you look great!" Lita said.
"Thank you Lita, so do all of you." Tori said.
The doorbell rung again and Tori went to answer it. When she opened the door Andre, Beck, Jade, Cat, and Robbie with Rex all came in. Andre was a Astronaut, Beck was a Vampire, Jade was a Gothic girl of course, Cat was a Cave Woman and Robbie was a Cave Man.
"Wow all of your costumes look fantastic!" Tori said.
"Thanks Tori, you look great too!" Cat said.
Later on more guess had arrived. Music was playing, everyone was playing games and having a goodtime. I saw that Lita was outside on the back porch so I decided to see if she was okay. She was staring at the stars in the sky when I walked up beside her and put my arm around her.
"Hey, what are you doing out here?" You should be inside having fun" I smiled at her.
"Oh I'm okay it's just that... I needed to take a breather for a sec." She smiled back at me.
"You do know that if theres something bothering you I'm here for you. You do know that right?" I asked.
"Yeah, It's just... I think that I'm a little homesick that's all. But I know that I can't go back because of my Dad." She explained.
"Do you miss your Mom too?" I asked her.
"Y-yeah, my Mom... I- I do miss her." She barley got out.
I looked at her and I could see that tears were starting to grow in her eyes, I grab her and gave her a hug. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Toby you're the best boyfriend that I could ask for." She said.
"Thanks Lita, I'll always be here for you no matter what." I said.
"Thanks Tobs." She said.
"You wanna know something else?" I asked her.
"What is it?" She asked.
I took my hands and place them on the sides of her face and I looked her right in the eyes.
"You look very pretty in the moonlight, your eyes shine so bright in it." I said.
"Oh Toby that's sweet." She said while blushing.
"I love you." I said.
"I love you too Toby." She said.
I leaned in and we kissed for about thirty seconds. After we stopped we gave each other a tight hug.
"Ready to go back inside?" I asked her.
"Yeah I am." She said.
We grabbed each others hands and walked back inside the house. When we got in we saw that everyone was still partying. Maya, Josh and Alice came up to us.
"You guys okay?" Josh asked.
"Yeah we're fine." I told him.
"Lita have you been crying?" Maya asked her.
"No no I'm okay really." She smiled.
"Hey are y'all having fun?" Tori came up to us.
"Totally!" We all said.
"Great, Robbie just got finished bobbing for apples and it was hilarious!" Tori laughed.
"He didn't almost drown his self did he?" I jokingly asked.
"No not this time." Tori laughed.
"Hey guys I'm going to the bathroom real quick I'll be right back." Lita said.
"Okay." I said smiling at her.

Lita's POV
I just came out of the bathroom and that's when my phone started buzzing. I took it out of my pocket and saw that it was my Mom calling me so I answered it.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey Lita." She said in a soft voice.
"Hi Mom how are you?" I asked.
"I'm fine how about you?" She softly asked.
"I'm doing great, It's just that I've been worried about you lately." I said.
"It's okay sweetie, I'm still hanging in there, no need to worry." She said.
"Has Dad still been giving you a hard time?" I asked.
"Yeah a little, but I'm okay sweetie." She said.
"Oh okay. As long as he's not still hurting you." I said.
"Yeah, but what are you up to now?" She asked me.
"Oh I'm currently at a Halloween party at the Vega's house." I said.
"Sounds fun, how are things with you and Toby?" She asked.
"Wonderful! He's the best!" I said.
"That's good to hear, I'm glad to know that you're safe." She said.
"I feel safe, I miss you Mom." I said trying not to cry.
"I miss you too sweetie, I love you." She said.
"I love you too." I said.
"I have to go now your Dad's home. Have fun." She said.
"I will, bye Mom." I said.
"Bye sweetie." She said.
I hung up the phone and wiped a stray tear off of my face then headed back downstairs.

Toby's POV
I was in the kitchen with Josh, Maya and Alice, we were sitting at the table talking and sharing a bowl of chips and waiting for Lita to come back.
"Lita's been gone awhile, I hope she's okay. Josh said.
"Yeah I hope so too." I said.
Just as we were talking about her Lita finally came back to the table and sat with us.
"Hey sorry it took me so long." Lita said.
"It's okay, were you okay?" I asked grabbing her hand.
"I'm fine I was just on the phone with my Mom." She said.
"Oh how is she doing?" I asked.
"She's... doing fine." She smiled.
"Cool, want a chip?" I offered her.
"Sure." She giggled.
I took a chip out of the bowl and fed it to her. She started laughing and so did I.
"Aww that was so cute!" Maya said.
"How adorable!" Alice said.
Lita then leaned towards me and I put my arm around her.

It's now getting late and everyone was about to go home. Some of the guests had already left but Tori's friends were still here. It was a great party but now I'm super tired.
"I'm glad that you all had fun." Tori told her friends.
"This was a great party Tori!" Cat said.
"Yeah, even though I almost drowned myself." Robbie said.
"Ha! You Suck!" Rex said.
"Zip it Rex!" Robbie said.
I couldn't help but chuckle a bit, Rex is one funny puppet.
"Yeah I had fun too, it reminded me of those halloween parties that my Grandma used to take me to when I was a kid. Well... that was before she lost her mind." Andre said.
"Yeah you really know how to throw a party Tori." Beck said.
"Thanks Beck." Tori smiled.
I was standing around as Tori was talking to her friends when Lita patted me on the shoulder causing me to turn around.
"Toby, I'm getting sleepy." She said in a soft voice.
"Why don't you go ahead and get out of your costume and get comfortable, I'll be up in a few." I smiled.
"Okay, Goodnight Maya I'm gonna go on to bed. Lita said.
"Yeah me and Alice are leaving now, our Mom just texted me and said she's outside right now. Maya said.
"Josh do you have a way home?" I asked him.
"Yeah my Dad's outside too." He said.
"Goodnight guys." Lita said.
"Goodnight." They said.
She gave Maya and Alice and I gave Josh a pound and they left. Later on Tori's friends left as well. Lita gave me a kiss on the cheek and she went on upstairs.
"So Tori do you need me to help with anything?" I offered.
"Me and Trina will take care of it, you go on to bed okay?" She smiled.
"Okay, goodnight Tori and Trina." I said.
"Goodnight Little bro." They both said.

I was finally in bed as well as Lita, she was laying there looking at the ceiling. I reached over and grabbed her hand.
"You okay" I asked her.
"Yeah, I just hope that my Mom is okay." She said.
"Hey, I'm sure that she'll be fine. I smiled.
"I hope so, I just wish my Dad would just stop abusing her." She said.
"Why don't you just call the police?" I asked.
"My Mom is too scared to do so" She explained.
"My Dad is a police officer, I could tell him about it." I offered.
"I don't think that will be a good idea. If you do that then he'll just beat on my Mom even worse." She said.
"But if I do you and your Mom won't have to worry abut his abuse anymore. Please trust me on this Lita." I said.
"Okay, but I hope this goes well because my Mom is under a lot of stress." She said.
"It'll get better don't you worry. Now get some sleep." I smiled at her.
"Okay, goodnight Tobs." She said put her hand on the side of my face.
"Goodnight Lita." I said.
We gave each other a quick peck on the lips and we drifted off to sleep. I hope everything works out for her and her Mom.
