You stuffed your mask into the duffel bag and zipped up your suit, sling the bag over your shoulder and headed to the door. Just a simple mission. Break in, get the jewel and get back out. Well it was a little more complicated than that but you could manage. It had been stolen and you were assigned to get it back. Tony suggested you go in through the 3rd floor bedroom window but you thought it would be faster to go through the bathroom-
"Hey" you almost ran into Peter when you opened the bedroom door. You stepped back and looked at him. He was in his suit, and also had a duffel bag
"Why are you in your suit?" You asked him, and squished past him towards the elevator
"Mr. Stark said I should go with you-"
"I work alone" you told him, not turning back. You didn't mean to be mean you just... worked better alone.
"But Mr. Stark said-"
"Look Peter, I really need to get going and I don't have time to argue so please understand: I work alone. I don't need your help" you interrupted him and stepped in the elevator. The doors closed and the last thing you saw was his saddened face as the elevator took you up to the jet.
When the doors opened again you saw Peter still standing there, and you wondered if the elevator had moved at all.
He showed you his hands, and you realized he had scaled the building through the outside. You sighed and shoved past him towards the jet. Then you felt something hit your back and then wrap around you
Peter had thrown a web at you to stop you from moving and he was now in front of you, attempting to convince you to bring him on the mission
"Peter" you sneered, annoyed
"I'm sorry but you have to listen to me." He said, taking his mask off and revealing his puppy eyes that begged for you to listen. His hair stood up and he smoothed it down with his hand
"I know you like to work alone, but this is a kinda of dangerous mission and I could really help-" he rambled, twisting his mask in his hands
"-and your dad said that it would be safer if I went with you because he just wants you to be safe and I do to" he said, and your brows furrowed together
"What Im trying to say is... I know you want to be alone but maybe... maybe I can be alone with you" His last words came out as barely a whisper. Was he saying that he liked you? Peter Parker, the cutest nerd you'd ever met, admitting his feelings to you?
His rich brown eyes looked at yours, and you took a deep breath before answering
"Alright- You can come with me" you said, and his face lit up, " on one condition,"
He bobbed his head up and down and you couldn't help but giggle a little
"You're taking me on a date after" he smiled at you and his cheeks turned slightly red,
"Deal" he said, putting his mask on excitedly and running into the jet
"Peter!" You yelled after him, and he turned around
"Oh- sorry!" He ran back and helped you get out of the web, then you both got on the jet and off to the mission
