It was happening again, Nyx had been saying in her room for the past two days, unfit to come out. Her skin had paled and withered and she was coughing up blood. She wasn't well, this is what they call the rebirth. In Nyx's opinion, it's not as glorious as one would believe.
She knew it was going to happen any day now, it might even be in a few minutes. She wasn't particularly upset with the idea of leaving. It had been her least favourite life yet, it had also been the shortest. She wrote a letter to tom saying she was going through a rebirth and that if he did anything out of line she will have his head on a spike. That was a promise.
She also wrote a note to Sirius, had one of the house-elves deliver it. It was saying sorry and explaining her current situation and saying goodbye.
Nyx was ready for her new adventure, the feeling of excitement filled her abdomen. She had a feeling this will be her greatest adventure.
She closed her eyes in peace as she went up in flames.
