When Jin said it was my birthday I thought he was joking. Then he hugged me and I knew he wasn't. I didn't hug him back. Everybody hugged around me and I just stood there, his words echoing in my head.

"Im sorry we couldn't get more."
Jin said, a small amount of sadness seeping into his voice
"Hyung! you did so much today, I wasn't even expecting presents!"
A small smile formed on his lips as Namjoon handed me the gift boxes. I slowly peeled away the paper, everybody watching with looks of anticipation plastered on their faces. In the first box there was a new outfit. A yellow jacket, white shirt and jeans (AKA euphoria outfit) In the second box there was sport equipment.
"Thank you guys so much!"
Everybody smiled, glad that i liked my gifts.
"Okay! Tae and Kook, you can do whatever. Everybody else you're helping clean up."
Taehyung and I went up to the attic, putting my gifts on the dresser and falling onto the bed.

I closed my eyes, listening to Taehyungs breathing.

"How are you feeling with everything?"
"What do you mean?"
Taehyung paused, taking a deep breath.
"With everything that happened with Song..."

I looked down, swirling around the water.
"I try not to think about it, but sometimes it's hard not to..."

"It's not your fault Tae. You are the reason I got out of there, and you're the thing that keeps me going. Without you I don't really know what I'd do."
Taehyung hugged me tightly,
"Then I'll never leave you."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
We sat for a little longer, no talking was necessary. When we finished Taehyung gave me one of his hoodies and a pair of boxers. We got into the now clean sheets, falling asleep tangled together.
Yikes- I haven't written smut in like forever so sorry abt it being kinda shitty. Also at the end I didn't really know what to write so this whole chapter is kinda shitty overall lmao. Probably wont post till this weekend, I have like 3 tests this week 🙃
