It's the day after the festival... And I feel amazing. I got dressed and my currently straight hair was pulled back in a ponytail, even styled with two curls on the sides of my face. I was ready for the day and was about to leave the room before-
"Cmere," Cold slender fingers wrapped around my wrist, pulling me into a hard chest. A small smile grew on my face and my face started to heat up as his hands wrapped around my waist and he snuggled his head on my shoulder. "You're gonna leave without saying good morning?" He kissed my neck. "You were knocked out... I didn't wanna wake you up." Shivers spread throughout my body.
"That's no excuse." He turned me around, placing his hands around my waist and put a kiss on my lips before quickly pulling away. "We're going on a date today." He directed before kissing me again as my eyes widened at his words. I pulled away and placed the back of my palm on his forehead. "Do you have a fever or something?"
He gave a cute smile before taking my hand on his forehead and placing a kiss on my faintly bruised knuckles. "I mean it baby." His voice had lowered as his crimson eyes pierced mine. "It'll be fun."
"Are you sure...? You don't wanna get drunk with Captain again?" I suggested as he rolled his eyes. He let go of my hand and bent down to my hips, easily throwing me over his shoulder.
"Ban!!" I giggled at the sudden movement. My shirt turning into a midgrift. He slapped my butt before leaving the room. "Put me down!!" He walked downstairs. I watched over the tavern, seeming everyone occupied with either drinking, conversating, or just still asleep.
Diane as in the middle of talking with King, whose back was facing me. I looked down at Diane as she gave a small smile. "Morning Y/n!" She gleamed.
"Hi, Diane." I huffed. "Whatcha doin' up there?" I shrugged my shoulders. "I have no ide-" "Cap'n! Me and Y/n aint workin' today."
"Of course you are!"
"See! Captain said we're working! We can't jus-" Ban slapped my butt causing me to shut up as the room became silent.
"We just want off for the afternoon. We'll be back before the suns gone." I could feel Ban give Captain a grin, letting the blonde know that he was gonna get what he wants.
"Alright, but don't be out too late. I cant lose 2 of my best employees." I heard Captains voice chime nonchalantly.
"Thanks Cap'n!" Ban quickly turned around, allowing me to be greeted with Captain and Elizabeth. "Have fun Lady Y/n!"
"He's gonna kill me."

Ban had finally decided on placing me on the floor while we started walking through town. "What did you have in mind?" I asked with my arms crossed, looking up at the pale man, being greeted with his hands behind his head. "I don't know."
I chewed on my lip for a moment before turning back to kids running through the street, having fun at most.
I stuffed my hands in my pockets and walked ahead of Ban. "I heard there's a cute little restaurant in a few blocks. Let's go there." I spoke aloud, thinking Ban was next to me. "That'll be fun." A voice said behind me.
I turned over my shoulder and saw a man with a beer gut and a creepy smile on his lips. "Ew." I gestured to his whole body. "No." I looked behind him and saw Ban staring at him with piercing eyes. I smiled slightly and grabbed the bluenettes hand. "C'mon dummy." I dragged him next to me but he let go of my hand and wrapped it around my waist, pulling me close to his body.
"I'm not losing you again in this damn crowd." He muttered under his breath, still causing a smile to grow on my lips. I looked up at him and softly grabbed his chin, pulling him down to my height and kissing his lips. "I love you." I smiled up at him, watching his pale cheeks softly turn into very faint pink. I'm sure if I weren't so close to him, I wouldn't have seen it... But it was there.
He gave me a sneaky grin before pecking my lips again, this time slightly biting on my bottom lip. "I love you too babydoll."

It wasn't long until we both had made it to the restaurant. The drinks were adorable along with the nice plates and now we were sitting in a wooden booth.
"Did you bring any money? I think I left my wallet at the tavern." I pat my sides and tried to fine some but to no avail.
"Nah, It's right here." Ban said, pulling my wallet out of his pocket.
"Thank you?" I reached across the table to take the wallet from his hands but he pulled his hand back. "Ban?"
"It's a date Y/n, I'm not lettin' you pay."
"Ban, I really don't mind."
"The gentleman always pays." He smirked and I rolled my eyes.
"What a gentleman you are." I joked and his grin only widened.
"Thank you darlin'" He put my wallet back in his pocket and we both started up a new conversation while we waited on our food.
When our food came we continued to joke around until we finished. Now we sat at the table and started to reminisce about the past.
"Oh! Oh! Do you remember one time when we fought that talking bear in the forest?" I said in between giggles and Ban watched my every move.
His playful grin tugged at my heart strings right before he answered. "'Course I do! It wouldn't shut up about how it was protecting the princess."
"The princess being a golden apple tree." I added and we both started laughing again.
"Wait! Remember the time when we all got super drunk and King threw that giant temper tantrum because Diane was cuddling Captain and not him!"
"Or the time that Escanor almost destroyed an entire town just cause Merlin needed help from that old mage!" He added and I held my stomach in a fit of laughter.
"He was all like 'I'm strong enough, she only needs help from me'!" I tried my best Escanor impression which only made Ban laugh even more.
"He doesn't sound like that! You gotta add more bass!"
"You try it then!"
"My dearest Merlin, please fall in my arms so I can easily catch you in my strong and muscular arms."
I gasped and covered my mouth. "You sound just like him." He smirked and I smiled. "How did you do that?!"
"In Baste Prison, I did everyones voices."
"Do Captain."
He cleared his throat. "Alright everyone, it's time to open up shop and sell some ale!" He said with a chipper accent.
"Damn... You're good." I giggled, clapping at his performance.
"Thank you, Thank you." He said. I turned over to the side and looked out the window, the sun was starting to set and time had passed faster than I expected.
"We gotta head back." I stood up from the booth and Ban groaned.
"We were just startin' to have fun." He said, staring up at me.
"I know baby, but, you did promise Captain we'd be back before the sun goes out and," I looked through the window again. "It's goin' down."
"What if we didn't go back? We just stayed out the rest of the day." He wrapped an arm around my waist and kept looking up at me.
I ran my hands through his hair. "It's very, very tempting but," My hand went from his hair to his cheek. "Captain needs his favorite jailbird cook."
"And I need my favorite girl in my arms." He mumbled before pulling me closer, now hugging my waist.
"You can have me later Foxy. It's time to go." I played with his hair and he groaned.
"Alright fine, if you don't move I'll use Sweet Slumber on you or just electrocute you with my body." He didn't answer me. "Choice is yours."
Right before I let electricity flow from my veins, Ban pulled away and stood up. "Fine, let's go."
He dropped a handful of coin on the table then we walked away, with his hand on my hip.
"Ya know, this was really nice." I said, looking up at him.
"Told you it'd be fun." He said and we continued to walk in silence. The street was mostly bare and Ban and I didn't say a word, we just enjoyed each other's company.
I turned to the side for a moment and saw a beautiful red jade necklace sitting behind a glass window. It had a gold chain and the red jade pendant. It had something else engraved on it but I couldn't see it fully.
"Wow." I whispered.
"What?" Ban questioned and I looked away. "Nothing, let's keep going or we're gonna be late."
Ban looked over at the window too before his eyes fell to me again. "You sure?" I smiled and looked up at him.
"'Course I am, let's go." I walked ahead of him and his hand on my waist almost fell, but when he noticed he was losing his grip he pulled me back into his side and we kept walking together.
We made it back to the tavern just before the sun was gone and once we walked inside it was quiet.
"Captain?" I called but we got no response. "Maybe they went out?" I questioned and turned to Ban. He shrugged and walked behind the counter.
"Well, at least they cleaned the place up." I wiped a finger on a table and surprisingly didn't feel dust or anything sticky.
"So, what now baby doll?"
Ban asked, leaning against the counter.
"Well, we did come back when Captain told us to so he can't be mad." Ban hummed along with me and I soon sat on a bar stool. "You hungry? I can make us somethin to eat." I placed my chin in my palm.
"I could eat." His eyes looked me up and down but I decided not to comment on it.
"Hmm... I think I can make some soup, or bake a chicken." I said, looking behind him at the supply of food we had in the kitchen.
"That's not what I'm hungry for." He said before standing up and walking around the counter. "You got any ideas?" I asked waiting for an answer.
"You." His arms wrapped around my waist and I felt his head fall onto the crevice of my neck.
"Ban..." I stared and I felt faint kisses on my neck.
"No ones here... Just us... Let's end the night on a good note..." He whispered on the shell of my ear, softly biting on it as well.
"We don't know..." I paused, closing my eyes and unintentionally leaning into his touch. "We don't know when everyone will be back." I whispered.
"Then let's have some fun before they get here." I could feel his grin and one of his hands travel down my stomach.
"Ban,"
"Hmm?" He hummed and I tried to think of something to say.
He pulled away from me and spun the stool around so I was facing him. I opened my eyes and he held my chin in his hands. He placed a long kiss on my lips before the door chimed he pulled away.
He leaned against the counter and we watched as everyone flooded into the tavern.
"There you two are!" Captain said. "We left to go find ya cause ya took too long!" Captain kept going, sitting at a table.
"About that," I stood up and dusted myself off. "We won't be workin tonight either."
"WHAT?!?" Captain yelled
"We aren't?" Ban questioned.
I leaned over to Ban's ear and whispered. "Upstairs."
Then looked back over to Captain. "We'll work tomorrow. We need a break like every person does." I started walking near the stairs and looked back at Ban. "Right Ban?"
Quickly, Ban stood up straight and nodded. "Happy workers, happy customers. And happy workers need breaks Cap'n."
"But-" Captain started and I was already halfway up the stairs.
"See you tomorrow Captain!" I called and walked into Ban and I's shared room.
Once inside, I waited for Ban and just in time, he walked inside.
"That was very sneaky Y/n." He closed the door then walked over to me and picked me up.
"I learned from the best." I chuckled and leaned into him. "Now, let's continue where we left off." He whispered against my lips.
