(Nat's POV, Avengers facility)
It had been four days since the incident with
y/n and there was still no sign of her or Bucky. My guess was that they where lying low, I honestly couldn't imagine the guilt they where going through right now, they just wanted to be good, but hydra had them wrapped around there fingers...
we had been on multiple missions trying to find Hydra agents, a few of the missions we had been successful but hadn't got any information from the agents about where the hydra base was located. Hydra was getting out of hand and to insure that both Bucky and y/n where safe and the world they needed to be shut down for good.
Peter wasn't taking the whole incident well.. I had never really talked to the kid much but I could tell he likes her.. a lot. He's come by the facility every day seeing if she's shown up and he gets the same answer.. "no"... poor kid, young love has you hooked and I talk from experience.
"It has been four days and there's no sign from either of them" Tony says as he paced up and down the conference room, "y/n must of lost her tracking bracelet during the incident otherwise it would be a whole lot easier to find them" Tony adds, "they're probably just lying low, they have been through a lot Tony" I say as he gives me the look as if "you're shitting me right".
"She's right Tony, there both extremely smart and then can protect each other" Steve adds as I catch a quick glance at a sad looking Peter. "It's not all about there safety, I know they can look after themselves, but y/n's powers have been released now, she probably doesn't know how to control them and you all saw what she's capable of, if she's not careful she's going to kill someone and when she's not in phase 3" Tony says as he continues to pace around the room.
"And is anyone going to bring up the fact that no one knows where Wanda and Vision are" he adds as I let out a rather loud sigh. "They've gone off record, they deserve the break" I say as Steve nods in approval, "apparently there in Scotland" Sam says rather proudly as I raise my eyebrows in amusement. "Don't you think they should know about this" Tony says after a moment of silence, "I don't think they need the stress" Steve says flatly as my glance turns to Peter again his head in his hands and his jaw clenched tightly.
"Tony maybe you should stop stressing, there fine" Rhodey adds as Tony's jaw clenches. "Maybe y/n's not fine! And yeah maybe I'm stressing! She didn't deserve what happened to her!! And god just maybe she was the closest thing I had to a daughter! I can't just let that go, it's not that easy" he yells as Pepper stands up and puts a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah well maybe we should stop talking about her! Because it won't solve anything!" Peter snaps unexpectedly as he storms out of the room. "Meeting over then" Tony says as he stares at the spot where Peter walked out.
I walk out of the conference room and down the hall hoping to get a bit of a workout in before I try and find y/n and Bucky again, god I have to say.. I really miss them.
(Your POV, unknown location)
Your eyes slowly blink open as you feel your head throb in mere pain. Once your eyes open you blink some more trying to adjust to the lighting of what seems to be a small unclean bedroom. You turn your glance to your right where you see another single bed placed and what looks to be Bucky sitting on it with his back facing you.
Your mind suddenly flickers remembered the events that laid out, it was your fault, everything was your fault, you couldn't change that. "Oh n-no" you say letting out a choky breath as Bucky quickly spins himself around and practically runs over to you. "You're awake!" He almost yells excitedly, "h-how long have I been out?" You question as his smile fades. "Four days.." he says sadly as you practically gasp.
"four days!! N-no that's not good at all no" you say as you feel complete panic enter your body. "What did I do, oh god what did I do, this is my fault, it's my fault that I got you into this, it's all my fault" you say as you feel burning hot tears run down your face tears? What? I've never cried in my life "Hey no it's okay, it's okay" Bucky says as he puts a comforting hand on your shoulder.
"They hate me, god everyone will hate me!!" You yell as he shakes his head. "Y/n it wasn't your fault, hydra forced you into this, none of this was your fault okay?" He says as more tears run down your face. "Th-the Avengers, t-tony, s-Steve, Nat, Peter oh god Peter, they all hate me!" You yell as you can sense pain from Bucky as well, he's hurt, not from what he did, but from seeing you like this, guess he's never seen you break down before, I mean neither have you.
He pulls you into a hug wanted nothing more than for you to stop crying, "I don't want to kill anymore Bucky-I'm done I can't... no I can't" you sob as the memories haunt your mind. "a-and the purple.. what was that... oh god was it my powers" you say as you pull away from the hug and cup your mouth with your hands. "I-think so" Bucky says as you concentrate on your breath trying to stop yourself from crying anymore.
"I think they where triggered by your emotions" he says as he looks to the floor, "you've finally found something to love and it messed with your third phase, I guess it was something hydra could never experiment on.." he says as you let out a loud sigh concluding your tears.
"I don't even know how to control it" you say as you lift up your hands, a small layer of purple mist only slightly covering them. "You'll learn" he says giving you a small but sad smile. "Where are we?" You question as you look around at the stingy looking room, consisting of two single beds, a small mini fridge and another door leading to a tiny bathroom, the rooms colour theme seeming to be mostly brown.
"A one star rated hotel, criminals usually stay here, I thought it would be best for us since I knew you wouldn't want to go back to the facility straight away" he sighs. "We have to go back y/n, they can help you better then I can, we can't stay here forever, they'll forgive you, it wasn't your fault after all" he adds as you shake your head, "I'm not going back, I can't, not after what happened" you say as he lets out a small sigh.
"How'd you think Hydra found you?" Bucky asks as you looked to the ground. "I honestly don't kno-" you begin to say but then a memory hits you. It was the first stage of living with hydra, it was efficient I guess, they implanted a small tracking chip in the back of your neck to insure they constantly knew where you where... guess there's only one way too remove it.
"The tracking chip, surely you remember it" you gulp as Bucky let's out a sad sigh. "I removed mine as soon as I left, wasn't exactly a painless process though" he says as if his asking for permission. "Just do it" you say after a long silence as Bucky gets up and opens a few draws before finding some scissors.
"I wish I didn't have to do this" he says, you knew he absolutely hated hurting you, he even hating have to practice fighting with you back at hydra. "It's okay" you sigh as he places two fingers on the back of your neck trying to find the indent of the tracking chip, his fingers finally stop moving indicated that he found it, you let out a loud sigh, preparing yourself for the pain.
"3...2...1" he says as you feel the scissors slice into your neck letting out a small shriek as they do so. You feel droplets of blood sliding down your neck as you clench your fists and bite your tongue trying your hardest not to scream.
"Almost done" Bucky says as you feel the scissors grab ahold of the small chip. You let out a horrid yelp as he finally pulls the chip out. "you're okay, you're okay, it's over" he sighs as you feel him stick a small bandage on your neck.
You turn yourself around to face him as he crushes the small chip with his metal hand, shutting down the tracking device. He then grabs a tissue and begins to wipe off the blood that ran down your back, you rest your head on his shoulder tiredly as he does so.
"You'd be a good dad you know Buck" you say as he lets out a small laugh, "I'm serious.. how about that Nat girl.. you guys would be a cute couple! and I see the way you look at her" you tease as he shakes his head. "I have way too many things to worry about then getting a girlfriend" he answers, "you didn't deny it" you add.
"You hungry?" He asks changing the subject, "I could eat" you answer as he begins to get up, "I'm going to get us some food, get some sleep, you need it" he says as he begins to walk out the door, "but I just slept for four days!" You yell after him, "don't care!" He yells back as you let out a small chuckle. He really is a brother from another mother.
You awake to the sound of footsteps as you blink your eyes open from the sudden noise. "Buck?? You back" You question as you feel an eerie feeling in your stomach. "Brother I already told you to shut up" says a familiar voice, "can't we just wake her up?" Asks a much deeper voice, "no we cannot, your the one who insisted on coming with me to Earth so like I said shut up and be patient" says the familiar voice again as you ever so slowly get out of bed and walk toward the light switch.
You finally turn the switch on and turn yourself around to where the voices where coming from, your heart beats rapidly as you discover the owner of the voice Loki. "You know she's younger then I thought" said the man standing next to Loki giving you a confused smile.
"Brother did you ever learn how to be intimidating" Loki snaps as he turns his glance to you giving you his signature evil smirk.
LOOOKKKIIII ISSSS BAAAACCKKK, But the question is, is he an illusion? Or is he really there.
