(Peter Parker's POV, Midtown HS)
"But miss you don't understand, she's really sick!" I say raising my voice as I try to explain for the 5th time to the grumpy office lady why I need to leave school. "Who?" She questions as I Internally scream, "y/n Williams, you remember her right?? You signed her in this morning, she's sick and that's why she left without signing out and I need to go find her since I'm her closest friend" I say confidently as the office lady rolls her eyes at me.
"She needs a note for leaving" she says as I sigh, "and so do you, you know the policy no note, no leaving" she says grumpily. "What if I called a family member and got them to talk to you?" I question as she raises her grey eyebrows at me "fine" she mumbles under her breath as I get out my phone and call May.
"Hey Peter" She says seeming distracted, "Hey May, um I kind of need to leave school" I say as I hear her stop what she's doing. "Why?" She questions dramatically, "spider man stuff" I reply with as I hear her calmly sigh. "You're going need to expand on that Peter" she says once again calmly. "Uh well you remember y/n right? You know the girl I talked about a lot, the really pretty one, who's kinda evil but now she's good" I say hoping she remembers. "Oh yeah Hydra girl" May says excitedly, "yeah well she kinda got kidnapped and I really need to tell Mr Stark" I say quickly. "Can't you ring him?" She questions "I've tried he won't answer his calls! Happy's already waiting outside for me, please May let me leave, it's important, I really like her and I don't want her getting hurt" I say as May sighs once again, "fine, but whatever you're doing better not be dangerous I still haven't gotten used to the fact that you're Spider-man" she says as I grin, "thank you May!" I say rather excitedly as I hand my phone over to grumpy office lady.
As soon as the phone call is over I run down the stairs of the school and straight into Happy's car. After what feels like forever we finally arrive at the Avengers facility and I run inside and find Mr Stark in the common room along with majority of the other Avengers.
"Kid, tell me everything that happened" he says seeming rather concerned, "ugh how'd you kno-" i begins to say but he cuts me off, "I could hear everything through her earring, We know hydra has her" Mr Stark says as he looks off too the side. "So what happened" he quickly snaps after a long silence. "Agh we where having lunch and a kid named Flash came and sat next to y/n, he started flirting with her and she kind of got mad and attacked him" I say as I notice a small smirk appear on Mr Starks face, "then what I thought was a new teacher came over and asked y/n to go with him, she wrote the word Hydra on a napkin and quickly shoved it in my pocket, so I assumed he was gonna you know, kidnap her or something, that's when I tried to ring you, but you wouldn't pick up" I finally finish as he lets out a small sigh.
"Kid, she's gone psycho, she's in phase three, she has Bucky triggered as well, We need to find them before-" he says but he's cut of by the news report on the TV behind him. "Breaking news, two unknown suspects are currently attacking the centre of New York City, they are killing and harming innocent people, please stay safe and if you come across these two people, do not approach them" the news lady says as footage is then shown of Bucky and y/n quite literally destroying the centre of New York.
I look over at Mr Stark who seems to be frozen in front of the Tv, trying to decide what to do... "suit up" he finally says facing the other Avengers, "that includes you" he says as he turns himself around to face me.
(Your POV, NYC)
The warm light of the sun shone down on your back as you killed, killed like it was the only thing you ever knew, truth is..that's because it was. Phase 3 felt good... you had no stresses...no emotions...nothing...it was almost like a breath of fresh murder filled air.
You ran throughout the centre of NYC with Bucky killing every single person that got in your way, just as hydra had told you to do. It was weird.. something about this phase 3 transition felt off... it was like you had something..familiar hiding deep down..like a lie.
You saw a small child hiding near a dumpster... they looked terrified... you smirked at the mere fear you could sense from them. You ran full belt toward the screaming child, your knife out ready to kill. You where only inches away from the child when you sensed an abject flying toward you, you quickly turned your glance to see an almost familiar red and blue shield flying towards your head.
You caught it seconds before it could hit you giving it's owner a small yet evil smirk. You where about to fling the shield at the now crying child before what looked to be a web shot at it, "Hey don't think that belongs to you" a voice says as you look up to see a boy dressed it red and blue spandex. He quickly swings his web making the shield hit you directly in the face, you stumble back and fall, pretending to be unconscious oldest game in the book.
"Nice work kid" the deeper voice says as you hear him run up beside you, "uh thanks Cap, but don't you think that was a little too easy" the younger voice says and at that moment you open your eyes and kick the older man directly in the stomach making him fly back. "Knew it" the spandex boy whispers under his breath as you fling one of your knives at him but he easily dodges it.
An uneasy feeling lies in your stomach as you fight the boy, an almost emotion filled feeling? Yet how is that even possible, phase 3 is emotionless, that's its whole point. Yet fighting these all too familiar people made you feel physically sick, but why?
You end the fight with a simple yet affective punch in the face, as the boy stumbles back, blood seeping through his spandex mask.
"Hey that's not nice" says a sarcastic voice, you look up too see a man dressed in a red and gold metal suit. He lands on the ground directly in front of you as he takes off his mask revealing his way too familiar face. "Y/n I know you're mad, and I know you're in phase 3, but god I don't want to fight you, remember me...please" he says as you frown at him, his voice almost calming you down. You look too your side to see Bucky fighting the red and blue shield man reminded you of your true purpose to kill. "I am Caroline not y/n" you say as you punch the man in the face.
"I didn't want to do this" he warns as the fight begins. In your opinion he seems to be going too soft, which in his own outcome, gets him more bruised and bloodied. But oh god it was eating at you, these people... you didn't want to fight them... but you knew you had too.... you could feel emotions practically creeping there way back inside of you.... you felt uneasy.... you hated it.
"Just goddam remember me!!" Metal man yelled as he punches you hard in the gut sending you flying back colliding into Bucky.
"I know these people" you say as Bucky helps you up, "don't be stupid" he says as you scold at him. You here about to reply but a sudden mass of armed men swarm the area, pointing there guns at you giving you angry expressions, bucky runs off effortlessly but for some reason you do not know of you stay where you are, feeling as if your feet are glued to the ground.
"DO NOT SHOOT!!" Metal man yells as the emotions suddenly hit you like a hard punch. Sadness,guilt, anger, oh god the anger. You clenched your fists in pure rage as the the armed men scream at you but you ignore them, the anger was getting out of control what was this? Emotions never entered during phase 3 the anger took control of your body as you felt your feet levitate off of the ground.
you let out a scream of complete agony as you felt power rise through your body, "A wonderful thing power is" said the man you so merely dreading, Thanos in all his glory. You quickly opened your eyes knowing it would get rid of his devilish self only to feel your heavy eyes close again, "he's got you now" says the man you somehow knew as Loki.
You opened your eyes once more and let out another angry shriek who are they? what is this?
(Tony Starks POV, NYC)
Her body levitated off of the ground, her body beginning to glow a strange purple colour, her eyes with it. She looked confused, angry, frustrated as the purple power consumed her.
It was happening, right here, her powers, this was her power, phase three mixed with her emotions must of set it off, something hydra could of never tested, she finally had something that set off her emotions, us, her family, love, a foreign feeling she never knew of until now There was a sudden loud bang as her powers consumed what seemed like the whole of NYC, maybe I'm being dramatic, but that's what it seemed like (if you are confused look at what I attached to see what it looked like, skip to 1:20).
We where all nocked too our knees dramatically. As I got up I stared over to where she was, laying unconscious on the ground as she was clearly thrown from the wave of her own power as well, Bucky then ran over to her picking her up bridle style and running off with her, I didn't even bother stopping him.
"I think we found her powers" I say into the comm, "yeah no shit" I hear Nat sigh as I let out a heavy breath.
Okay sorry this part wasn't very good I literally wrote it at 1am..
