Pearl: "I can not believe you managed to talk me into this" 'Pearl says as she walks ahead of Garnet who is giving Chip a piggy Back ride'
Garnet: "Trust me this will work" 'Garnet says calmly as Chip rests his chin on her hair'
Chip: "Is this...really....necessary?" 'Chip asks Garnet quietly'
Garnet: "Mission critical" 'Garnet says with a small smile forming on her face'
Chip: "I can walk...though" 'Chip says softly yet clearly confused'
Pearl: "Are you questioning your mother?" 'Pearl asks with a amused smile as she looks at the two from over her shoulder'
Garnet: "Yes are you questioning me?" 'Garnet asks with a playful grin as she continues walking'
Chip: "I'm not questioning you, I'm questioning your logic" 'Chip says forming his first proper sentence'
Garnet: "Hush Mother knows best" 'Garnet says causing Chip to go silent with a confused look on his face'
Garnet and Pearl eventually walk all the way up the large stair case reaching a large arena floating in the sky, Inside Amethyst is found sitting in the stands while Steven can be seen with Connie standing in the arena itself'
Steven: "Hey, what took you guys so long" 'Steven asks excitedly as Garnet and Pearl walk into the arena'
Pearl: "Somebody was having a hard time staying awake long enough to use the warp pad" 'Pearl says as she stands next to Garnet'
Garnet: "So we settled on a compromise" 'Garnet says with a smile'
Chip: "It wasnt a compromise...." 'Chip says quietly as Garnet sets him down'
Garnet: "What did I say before?" 'Garnet asks with a soft smile as she pokes Chip's nose'
'Steven smiles at the rather sweet scene infront of him as he stands beside Connie'
Connie: "Sorry but I dont think I've met you, I'm Connie maheswaran " 'Connie says with a smile as Garnet pushes Chip forward softly'
Chip: "My names chip, it's nice to meet you" 'Chip says shyly as his eyes shift to a blue with a purple hue near the edges'
Steven: "This is the robo-guy I told you about. He's a little shy" 'Steven says chuckling'
Pearl: "Alright we shall begin our training, Chip you shall be sparring against Connie, Steven if you could go sit in the stands with Amethyst" 'Pearl says as she hands Chip a sword'
'Chip looks at the sword doubtingly before tapping the point of the Blade against his index Finger while Steven makes his way to sit next to Amethyst'
Pearl: "Is there somthing wrong?" 'Pearl asks confused'
Chip: "This weapon just feels.....empty" 'Chip says with a confused look'
Garnet: "Then we shall let you chose a weapon" 'Garnet says as she walks to a wall of the Arena'
'Connie and Chip follow with Pearl close behind, Once Garnet reaches the wall she presses a brick into the wall causing a small portion of the wall to change into a large weapon rack holding different types of weapons'
Pearl: "Oh, I honestly forgot this was here..." 'Pearl says as she taps one of her index fingers on her chin'
Connie: "I didnt get to chose my weapon" 'Connie says with mock dissatisfaction'
Garnet: "Well Most of these weapons cant be wielded by a human due to their weight" 'Garnet says with a calm tone as Pearl looks through the Weapons'
Pearl: "Yes that is true, however I think you work best with a sword anyway, it compliments your style" 'Pearl says kindly causing Connie to smile to herself'
'Connie looks at Chip noticing a blue light coming from his eyes as he scans each weapon infront of him'
'Pearl stops at a blue longsword with star hilt, she smiles and takes the sword off its Rack'
Pearl: "Ah here we go! This is perfect for you" 'Pearl says as she turns around noticing Chip has moved, she turns her head looking for Chip before she notices him looking at a large War hammer like weapon'
'Pearl makes her way over shaking her head in slight annoyance'
Pearl: "I found a sword that I think will fit your fighting style" 'Pearl informs Chip causing him to look fro. The War hammer to her'
Chip: "I was actually hoping I could...try this?" 'Chip says softly causing Pearl to look at the large war hammer'
'The War hammer easily stands just as tall as Garnet it has a yellow glint to its metal while it has blue engravings scattered around the head of the hammer'
Pearl: "I dont know, it seems rather impractical given its size" 'Pearl says as she rests the sword she is carrying on her shoulder'
'Garnet places a hand on Pearl's shoulder as Connie can be seen trying to balance herself in the background as she attempts to carry a battle axe'
Garnet: "Remember, he should choose his weapon" 'Garnet says as if referencing somthing which causes Pearl to sigh as she rolls her eyes'
Pearl: "Oh allright, we shall see how it go- Wait Connie dont touch that!" 'Pearl says before running off to stop Connie from whatever she was doing'
'Garnet looks at the War hammer and takes it off the wall, the weight instantly hits her as the hammer collides with the ground cracking it'
Garnet: "Do you think you can handle it?" 'Garnet asks Chip with a calm face'
'Chip nods his head with a determined look causing Garnet to shake her head a small smile on her face'
'Chip takes a hold of the base of the War hammer before lifting it upward with ease causing Both him and Garnet to show expressions of surprise'
'Chip hoists the Hammer over his right shoulder with one hand a wide excited smile spreading across his face as he walks into the Arena'
'Up on the stands Amethyst is showing Steven a game on her Phone before her eyes go wide after Glancing up at the arena'
Amethyst: "Woaah! Look at the heat Chip is packing!" 'Amethyst says with a surprised smile'
'Steven looks out to the arena with stars soon forming in his eyes as he notices the Large War hammer Chip is carrying'
'Back in the Arena Pearl is standing beside Connie as Chip stands across from them, Pearl's eyes are wide in shock as Chip holds the obscenely large weapon with ease'
Pearl: "Wel I am rather surprised you can handle such a weapon so easily, allright get into your stances" 'Pearl says as Connie crouches down slightly with her sword drawn'
'Chip thinks to himself before taking the War hammer in both hands his right hand being the dominant one, Chip shifts his stance so his right foot is farther behind his left'
'Pearl walks around Chip examining his stance for any flaws before she stops infront of him'
Pearl: "Impressive, this is your first time wielding such a weapon yet your stance is almost perfect" 'Pearl says surprised causing Chip's eyes to turn a light green color'
Steven: "Go Connie!" 'Steven yells causing both Chip and Connie to chuckle lightly'
'Chip notices Garnet sitting in the stands waving a clearly homemade flag with a calm face, the words "Go Champ" have been stitched onto the flag'
'Pearl shakes her head smiling desmissivley as she turns her attention back to her pupil's'
Pearl: "One last thing, this is just a sparring match, so Connie do go easy on him, only use as much strength as necessary, however if he does put you on the back foot dint be afraid to kick it into high gear" 'Pearl says causing Connie to nod with a determined expression'
'Pearl then turns to chip with a stern look'
Pearl: "As for you, keep your breathing steady and remain calm, if you start to fade into combat mode lower your weapon and we will take a break" 'Pearl says causing Chip to nod clearly unsure of himself'
'Pearl backs away from the two, once she is a considerable distance away she takes out a bell and rings it loudly three times'
'On the third ring Connie lunges forward attempting to slash Chip across the chest, Chip quickly blocks her sword with the midsection of his War hammer, Chip's eyes widen in surprise as his eyes flash yellow briefly'
'Connie continues to attempt to strike Chip by throwing rapid slash attacks, Chip seems to be fairing rather poorly not being able to block any more attacks'
Steven: "C'mon Connie you got this!" 'Steven Cheers while Garnet watches with a calm expression, one would say she was completley calm if she wasnt bouncing her left leg subconsiously'
'As Connie is mid Swing Chip's eyes turn a glowing Yellow, he swings his hammer down at Connie causing her to block his strike, Connie grits her teeth from the force of the strike'
Chip: "Countermeasures ready" 'Chip says in a doubled voice as he Kicks connie backwards causing her to roll before stand up sword at the ready'
'Garnet has begun waving the flag slightly faster as she smiles excitedly while Steven has stars in his eyes while he watches the fight'
'Connie smirks confidently while Chip stands waiting, his yellow glowing eyes watching for movement'
'Connie charges once again, swinging ruthlessly, Chip blocks each attack with equal force never actually making a move to go on the offensive'
'Connie twirls her sword attempting to slash at Chip, Chip brings his hammer down on the blade of the silver sword bending the Blade between the stone floor and his metal hammer'
'A shockwave rings out through the arena from the sheer force of the blow causing Connie to get knocked backwards onto the ground'
'Chip walks towards Connie as she lays on the Ground, Pearl visibly becomes worried at the cold expression on Chip's face'
'Pearl's expression softens into relief once Chip extends his hand outward to help Connie up, Connie takes his hand causing him to pull her up rather forcefully causing her to yelp in surprise before calming down once she is standing up'
Pearl: "That was Wonderful!!" 'Pearl says clapping excitedly as she jogs over to the two trainees'
'Steven had ran down to Connie with stars in his eyes'
Steven: "You two were so cool! It was like somthing off of lonely Blade!" 'Steven exclaims excitedly causing Connie to blush lightly as she laughs nervously'
Garnet: "You did great" 'Garnet says to Chip as she places a hand on his shoulder, a proud smile on her face'
Pearl: "Yes I must say I'm rather impressed how easily you controlled your combat mode" 'Pearl says proudly'
Garnet: "This isnt his combat mode, His eyes arent red they're yellow" 'Garnet says calmly'
Pearl: "What do you mean? If it's not his combat mode then what is it?"
Chip: "I think it's like a...defense mode?" 'Chip says in thought'
Pearl: "A defensive mode? I've never heard of such a thing with a Metamorin" 'Pearl says in thought'
Connie: "That would make sense since he never actually attacked me, he only defended himself and then he disarmed me" 'Connie says as Chip blinks his eyes causing them to return to a glowing blue'
Pearl: "Well I'd say today was a success" 'Pearl says happily as she starts to walk off'
'Chip begins to place down his weapon but stops once Garnet crouches down to his height'
Garnet: "I'm proud of you, not only did you stay calm and collected you didnt use Violence to end the fight" 'Garnet says with a smile'
Chip: "I was just....acting on instinct" 'Chip says in a doubting yet quiet voice'
Garnet: "That's all the more reason to be proud" 'Garnet says poking Chips nose causing him to giggle to himself lightly'
Garnet: "Now come on, let's go home...oh and dont forget your hammer, it's your weapon now" 'Garnet says with a calm tone of voice'
'Chip's eyes light up bright green as he lifts his War hammer back up over his shoulder, he then runs to catch upto Garnet as they walk back to the warp pad to go home'
