Sometimes we shutdown people's comments. We tell them oh no I wasn't that good. We think that putting ourselves down is in some way humbling ourselves but it's not. I know personally I would do this.
Instead the humble way is to thank God for the praise and move on. Don't get caught up in yourself. It doesn't matter if your boosting about yourself or even talking yourself down and saying your not good enough. Let yourself be freed from your own problems. Don't get so consumed by yourself. God will take care of you so you can take care of others.
