Almost everything I asked for God provided even when he didn't need to. Even when I got what I wanted I was still longing for satisfaction. Nothing could truly satisfy me. I never felt truly complete or happy.
That's when I realized I was looking in all the wrong places. I was looking for what could satisfy me here on earth. The truth is nothing on earth can truly satisfy you. It might make you happy for a few days but then that joy will run out.
Instead find your satisfaction in God. Read his word and live your life according to it. Spend your time with him and he will take care of the rest. Let God take control and you will finally feel fulfilled.
" lord, all my desire is before thee; And my groaning is not hid from thee."
