[Painite pov]
Painite: ( Man this girl is fast.)
I've been trying to "tag" Spinel for a while now, while I have no idea what this is, I assume I just need to touch her.
Spinel: C'mon! You'll catch me eventually!
Painite: Are you mocking me or supporting me?
Spinel: What ever helps you! *giggle*
How in the world am I gonna catch her? She's fast, and stretchy! ...Wait a minute, I have a trump card of my own. I hope this counts.
Painite: Hey Spinel!
Spinel: Yes?
I took my arm off and threw it at her, hitting in the back of her head. I got my arm back and I put it back on.
Painite: Tag! You're it!
Spinel: *gasp* That's a cool trick!
Painite: Not much of a trick, just something a Painite can do.
Spinel: Wait, what do Painites do anyway?
Painite: Well, there aren't that many of us, but were ment to be rescuers.
I pulled out my chain whip.
Painite: This is unbreakable, and can make any shape.
I then pulled my arm off.
Painite: And our bodies can be put back together, making us nearly indestructible.
I put my arm back on.
Painite: So we can go in any dangerous situation.
Spinel looked like she was trying to solve a problem.
Spinel: Are you a male?
I looked down at the ground sadly, and nodded.
Spinel: Cool!
I raised my eyebrow. Spinel stretched over to me.
Spinel: I've never seen a male gem before!
I nervously laughed.
Spinel: Oh oh! Can you show me some tricks with your chain?!
I thought for a moment.
Painite: (Guess this could help me practice shaping my chain.)
I started spinning my chain and made into a shape on an octagon.
Spinel: Oh! Do another! Do another!
I spun my chain again and made it into a sword shape.
Spinel: This is so cool! Keep going!
I smirked a bit and made my chain into a shape of a scythe.
Spinel: Come on, do something bigger!
Painite: Okay, how about this?!
I spun my chain wildly, and Spinel stared in awe. I shaped my chain to look like her.
Spinel: *gasp* It's me!
I then made it do the goofy handstand she did earlier.
Spinel: It's like looking in a mirror.
I smiled a bit, she is really into this.
Painite: Okay, I showed you some tricks, now you show me some.
Spinel got huge grin on her face.
Spinel: Does dancing count as a trick?
Painite: What's dancing?
Spinel: Ya know, this!
A spotlight suddenly shone on her, where is that even coming from. She started to...okay what is she doing?
Painite: ...What are doing?
Spinel stopped doing...that.
Spinel: I'm dancing!
Painite: ....
Spinel: *gasp* You never heard of dancing?!
Painite: I guess not.
Spinel wrapped here around my shoulder multiple times.
Spinel: Oh don't worry. Your new best friend, your new best friend, your new best friend!
She wrapped her body around me a bunch of times.
Spinel: Spinel! Is here!
She her goofy handstand, which of course made me smirk. She stopped and looked at me.
Spinel: I, Spinel, will teach you the art of dancing.
I just nodded.
Spinel: Okay, show me what you got.
I stood there awkwardly. I tried copying what she did but...yeah I probably look like a clod. Spinel put her chin between her finger and thumb.
Spinel: Hmmm, yes, I see.
She circled around me.
Spinel: I'm clearly dealing what a low skill dancer.
Painite: Hey!
Spinel: Why don't we start with the basics? Show me how flexible you are.
Painite: Well, Painites can bend in any shape so.
Spinel: Oh, well you get an A plus then!
I rolled my eyes.
Spinel: Now, why don't we try something simple?
Painite: Like?
Spinel: Like the Hokey Pokey!
Painite: The whatey what now?
Spinel: C'mon! It's like the easiest thing in the universe!
Painite: If you say so.
Spinel started bouncing up and down.
Spinel: Here's what you do. You put your left foot in, you put your left foot out, you put your left foot in, and you shake it all about! You do the Hokey Pokey and turn yourself around! C'mon join in!
She wrapped her arms around me and put me right next to her.
Spinel: Just follow my lead!
Painite: Uhh, okay.
Spinel: Here we go! You put your right foot in, you put your right foot out, you put your right foot in, and you shake it all about! You do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around! That's what it's all about!
I mimicked her the best I could, I think I'm doing okay.
Spinel: Good job! Now you lead!
Painite: Me.
Spinel: Don't worry, you got this. Go on!
Painite: Okay, umm. You put your left foot in, you put your left foot out, you put your left foot in, and you shake it all about. You do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around.
Spinel: See! Isn't this fun?
Painite: I'm completely out of sync, and I feel like a clod but yeah it's fun!
Spinel: Let's go together now!
Painite: You're the boss.
Spinel+Painite: You put your right foot in, you put your right foot out, you put your right foot in, and you shake all about! You do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around! That's what it's all about!
Spinel: Jazz hands!
Painite: Uh, jazz hands.

[Third person pov]
Pink Diamond warped in on the warp pad. She was greeted with the site of Painite trying to mimick Spinel.
Spinel: C'mon, you can do it!
Painite: You said that like ten times already.
Pink Diamond: I see you two are getting along nicely.
Spinel: Yeah! He's really fun!
Painite smirked a bit.
Spinel: I can't wait to play with him more.
Pink Diamond: Now, don't forget what I said.
Spinel: Of course I didn't! ...What did you say?
Pink Diamond: *giggle* I said to hide and protect Painite if anyone who isn't me comes, even my Pearl.
Spinel: Got'cha!
Pink Diamond turned to Painite.
Pink Diamond: Are you enjoying it here?
Painite: I wouldn't if she wasn't here.
Spinel giggled.
Painite: I want to thank you again for this my Diamond.
Pink Diamond: There is no need. I only wish for you to be happy.
Painite smiled a bit at that.
Painite: You are to-
Spinel: Tag! You're it!
Spinel ran away giggling.
Painite: ...Okay.
Painite poked Pink Diamond.
Painite: Now you're it!
Painite ran away.
Pink Diamond: Hey! Get back here you two!
Pink Diamond chased them, all of them giggling.
Painite: (There's nothing that can ruin this.)
