"Are you sure you want to leave today?" Lyra asked me.

"Yea. We shouldn't stay in one place for to long." I replied.

"Can you even walk yet?" Star asked. I nodded and stood, then fell straight back down as I winced at the pain.

"You're staying another day. You even have Scorcher to protect you." Lyra said.

"Fine." I grumbled.

"While you rest I'm going to help star catch her next Pokemon." Lyra said after a minute.

"Alright. Good luck Star." I said.

They left me in the Pokemon center alone once again. At least Scorcher is by my side once again. I rubbed his head as I sat with him beside me.

"Ty." He purred. I fell into a light sleep.

Star Pov.

We walked south from the Pokemon center until we reached the edge of town. Fang was in my arms, nudging my arm with her noes. She must be ready for a fight.

"Ok Star, when you find a Pokemon you want. You must weaken it before you try to catch it. If you throw a pokeball at a Pokemon before it's weak, it'll get away." Lyra explained. I nodded. We continued to walk partially into the forest. I began to scan around for a Pokemon I would like.

A few leaves fell to my right. I looked up in the tree and saw a...Caterpie. I moved back slightly and continued to look. I don't really like bug Pokemon, so I tend to stay away from them.

A bush to my left began to shake. Fang jumped out of my arms and waited for my commands. An Eevee came out of the bush. I want her.

"Fang, use scratch." I commanded as I pointed toward the Eevee. She looked our way and growled. Fang ran toward the Eevee, claws glowing white. Eevee ran toward Fang. Fang's claws made contact with Eevee's shoulder. Fang jumped back and Eevee stumbled slightly. She shook her body then charged at Fang again.

"Fang dodge! Then use water gun!" I quickly said. Fang jumped up right before Eevee could tackle her. Fang looked down toward the helpless Eevee and shot water from her mouth. The strong stream hit Eevee hard in her face. She fell to the ground. Fang landed behind her, turned and grinned. I took this chance to catch the Eevee.

"Go pokeball!" I shouted. Eevee just looked up when the ball hit her forehead. She turned into red light and was absorbed into the capsule. It shook once rapidly. I held my breath as it shook again. So far, so good. It shook a third time then stopped.

"Alright! I caught Eevee!" I cheered. Fang ran over to me and jumped up and down, cheering with me.

"Totodile!" She cheered. I picked up my new friend's pokeball. I don't know who I want her to become, so I'll name her Shard. I tossed up her pokeball and she landed gracefully beside Fang.

"Hi Shard, I'm Star and this is Fang." I introduced us and Lyra walked over to me.

"Very good Star. You caught Eevee like a pro." Lyra complemented me.

"Thanks! It was with your help that I caught my new friend!" I said. She nodded.

"We should head back to the Pokemon center. Shard would need to rest and I think we need to help Sharon look out for Silver." Lyra said. I nodded and returned Shard to her pokeball. Fang was at my feet, so I picked her up. We began to walk back to Goldenrod City. I noticed dark clouds in the distance. At least they aren't from Lugia. We walked in silence and listened to the distant rumble of thunder.

Sharon Pov.

I woke up to an Eevee sitting on my stomach. I was a bit surprised. She stared at me. What does she want?

"Hi Sharon, I see Shard had woke you. Sorry about that." Star said as she picked up the Eevee named Shard.

"So she is your new pokemon?" I asked. She nodded. I sat up some more, not much pain left. We should be able to leave tomorrow morning. The front door opened and in came a girl and a guy. Star looked over and she smiled.

"Those two trainers are the other trainers professor Elm gave pokemon to." She said. They glanced over at us, glared, then continued to the counter.

"They don't seem friendly..." I said.

"Yea, Josh and Jay are kinda the mean kids in my neighborhood. But I worry about their Pokemon. They use to have a Growlithe, but one day I never saw him again." Star explained.

We stopped talking after that. I just stared at the two who sat at the other end of the room. There is something about them, but I can't figure out what? Scorcher actually began to growl at them. That's really odd. The center doors open again, in came the boy with blue hair and the girl with red hair. To me now know as Latios and Latias. They walked over to us.

"Hey Sharon, glad we finally found you!" Latias said.

"Yea, next time warn us when you teleport." Latios scolded.

"Sorry...I didn't expect to teleport." I said.

"You also need to be careful!" latios scolded me more.

"Ok sorry..." I grumbled.

"Hey Sharon... Who are they?" Star asked.

"Uhh...they are..." I began to say. I looked over at the two legendaries in human form.

"It's ok. You can tell her as long as she keeps us a secret." Latias said. Latios rolled his eyes at his sister, then nodded in approval at what she said.

"They are the legendary pokemon, Latias," I said pointing to her, "And Latios." I finished pointing at him.

"You can't tell anyone that we are here." Latios warned her.

"You don't need to scare her. I can trust Star enough to keep your travels with us a secret." Lyra said. She placed her hand on Star's shoulder. "Right Star?"

"Yea, I won't ever tell. And could I scan you two with my pokedex? I want to fill it up with every pokemon I meet." Star asked the two.

"Sure. As long as there is no catching involved, I will allow it." Latios replied with a warm smile.

"Thanks you two." She grinned.

The next morning came and I felt so much better. My back was bruised but didn't hurt as bad a the previous day. Scorcher was beside me, happy to see me standing without falling to the ground. The Latis had turned into Eevees while they slept at the foot of my bed. Once they woke up, they turned into there human forms once again.

"Morning Sharon!" Latias said, excited for some reason. Latios just stared at his sister in annoyance.

"Morning you two." I replied. I got out of bed and made it nicely. I met Lyra and Star at the Pokemon center entrance. I noticed those other two trainers from yesterday are staring at us as we leave. Once outside, Lyra turns toward me.

"Alright. Now we can go to Sinnoh and find Cynthia." Lyra grinned. I nodded.

"No you aren't!" A male voice behind us said. I turned to see the two trainers.

"What do you mean?" Star asked. "We have the rights to go wherever we want." I looked at the two carefully. I noticed a red R on their shoulders.

"So you are from team Rocket. Am I right?" I asked them with a grin.

"Yes and we will be taking Latias and Latios now!" Josh yelled. He threw up his pokeball, revealing a Typhlosion. Jay threw out her pokemon, a Meganium.

"You already evolved your starters!" Star said shocked. The grinned.

"Of course." Josh grinned. Fang jumped from Star's arms. She looked angry at the Pokemon she once called friends. The Typhlosion spat an ember toward her. She was really angry now. She shot a water gun in his face. The two looked ready to kill each other.

"Fang get away from Typhlosion!" Star scolded her Pokemon. She obeyed and stood by her trainer's leg. I didn't have time for this. I released Scorcher from his capsule. Lyra brought out her Lapras.

"If you want the Latis so badly, you'll have to get through us!" I growled. Their Pokemon stood face to face with ours.

"Scorcher, Fire Blast!" I commanded. His maw quickly filled with fire. He released the shot toward Jay's Meganium. He was engulfed in fire, fainting from the leftover burns.

"Lapras use Hydro pump!" Lyra commanded her Pokemon. Josh's Typhlosion didn't even stand a chance against the Champion of this region. They growled at us as the returned their Pokemon. They then ran into the forest.

"Now can we go?" I asked. Lyra nodded.
