Tumango lamang si Lance.
“Boss, we’ll make a short stopover at DresRossa to get more fuel.” StarWolf
Tumango si Lance. Wala na syang ibang sinabi bago magtungo sa kanyang silid.
Sa kasalukuyan ay sakay sila sa isang Airship. Isang barko na naglalakbay sa himpapawid. Isang makabagong imbensyon ng mga Mechanical Alchemists. Ito ang pinakasikat na uri ng transportasyon sa panahong ito. Tanging malalaking pangalan lamang ang nakakaafford ng ganitong klaseng Airship.
“This is the worst.” Buntong hininga ni StarWolf
“Master is too sad.” LoneWolf
“I’ve never seen him this down before.” BloodWolf
“I just cant believe that Mistress would die just like that.” LoneWolf
“She’s Master’s first love.. How could the gods do this to our Master?” BloodWolf
“Im really worried. This is his first heartbreak.” StarWolf

Nagkatinginan ang tatlo at sabay-sabay na nagbuntong hininga.
Hindi nagtagal ang stop over nila sa DresRossa. But it was enough for two people to sneak in.

“I caught two assassins.” BloodWolf
“Did you finish them off??” LoneWolf
“Not yet.. I throw them in the cell.” BloodWolf
“Are you crazy? They’re assassins! They can find ways to escape!” StarWolf
Nagbuntong hininga si BloodWolf.. “Not these two.. They’re…. How should I put it?? Err.. Weak? They’re too weak that I actually want to teach them how to properly punch people..”

Of course, these two little assassins are no other than Amara and Aurio.
“We got caught. Huhu…” Aurio
“It doesn’t matter.” Amara

Hindi makapaniwala si Aurio sa kanyang narinig.. “Isnt it obvious? We’re in the wolves den! Hindi mo ba alam kung gaano nakakatakot ang reputasyon ni Phantom Emperor??”
“He just have a bad reputation. It doesn’t mean he’s that bad in real life, right?” Amara
Naiiyak na si Aurio.. “Hindi ko alam kung bakit pa kita sinamahan dito..”
“You’re worried about me. And Im worried to leave you behind. So here we are.” Nakangiting sagot ni Amara
“You’re unbelievable.. Wuwuwu…” Aurio
“Stop worrying too much.. You once asked me if Phantom Emperor is somehow related to the original Lauren, right?” Amara

“But that doesn’t mean that he cant be related to the fake Lauren.” Amara

She accepted this job in order to find him. She knew about Lance’s secret identity eversince she met him in Bronei. She knew about his hidden guards too. She don’t want to hurt them so they got captured.
“We’re going to die..” saad pa ni Aurio

“You still want to assassinate him?!” hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Aurio

Nabalot ng katahimikan ang munting selda ng Airship.
Pinili na lamang ni Aurio na mag-isip ng paraan para makatakas.
Nakita ni Amara ang seryosong ekspresyon ni Aurio.
“Shut up.” Amara
“But I didnt even say anythi---” Aurio
“You were thinking. It’s annoying.” Amara
“……..” Aurio… Why is she so unreasonable??
“Stay here.” Saad ni Amara bago sya naglaho.
Lumitaw si Amara sa isang silid.
Nakabukas ang mga kurtina kung kaya nababalot ng natural na liwanag ang buong silid.
Nabitawan ni Lance ang hawak nyang libro.
Kahit pa nakadamit panglalaki ang taong bigla na lamang lumitaw sa kanyang silid, hindi sya maaaring magkamali. Her eyes. Her smile. The color of her hair. The way her eyebrows crease. The face of the girl from thousands of years ago is standing right there. Across him, within this room.
“Amara.”
Hindi sya maaaring magkamali.
“Hello, Ember.” Nakangiting tugon ni Amara
Mabilis na nakalapit ang binata.
Nagulat si Amara nung bigla syang yakapin nito.
“I thought.. I lost you… again..” saad ng binata sa mahinang tinig.
Nanginginig ito… Dahil sa takot.
He’s anxious.

“Im sorry…” tugon ni Amara
Lalong humigpit ang yakap ng binata.
They stayed like that for a really long time.
Ilang katok sa pinto ang umagaw sa atensyon ng dalawa.
“Master, dinner is ready.” Boses ni BloodWolf sa kabilang bahagi ng pinto.
“You look terrible. Have you been skipping meals lately?” tanong ni Amara dahil napansin nyang pumayat ang binata simula noong huli silang nagkita.
“I… I thought you’re dead.” Paliwanag nito
Hindi agad nakatugon si Amara… It was actually her fault.
“Sorry.”
Lance planted a small kiss on her head before letting her go.. “Between you and me, there is no need for the word Sorry..”
Ngumiti ang dalaga.
“Okay..” Amara
“Master????” tanong pa ni BloodWolf sa labas ng pinto
“Join me for dinner.” Saad ni Lance saka hinawakan ang kamay ng dalaga
Tumango ito at sabay silang lumabas ng pinto.
“Master, we prepared your dinner at the deck of the ship—” natigilan si BloodWolf
Namamalik mata yata sya?
Bakit may kasamang binatilyo ang kanyang Master?
A-at magkahawak kamay sila!!
“Boss! Inihanda namin ang mga paborito mong pagkai---” natigilan din si StarWolf noong makita ang dalawa
“Go get another chair.” Utos ni Lance.. Nakita nyang nakanganga sa kanya ang tatlo.. “I said.. Get another chair.”
“O-okay Master.” Nagtataka si LoneWolf pero agad syang sumunod.
Hindi pinansin nina Amara ang tatlong Lobo. Umupo sila sa upuan na tila napakanatural lamang ng mga nangyayari.
“Back then, I was worried that you have no recollection of the past.” Saad ni Amara.. She was talking about what happened in Bronei.
Tumango si Lance.. “I had the same worries.. You look different, I was afraid to lost you again if I say too much.”
Nagkatinginan sila at sabay na napangiti.
“Am I seeing things??” bulong ni StarWolf sa dalawa
“N-no… Im seeing it too.” LoneWolf
“Who is that kid??” StarWolf
“I think… He’s one of the two assassins that I caught earlier.” BloodWolf
Nagpatuloy ang bulungan ng tatlo. May sarili namang mundo sina Lance at Amara.
“Actually, I’m here to assassinate you.” Saad ni Amara
“Okay.” Lance
“………” Amara
“……….” The three idiots
“Im actually here to give you some valuable information.” Natatawang saad ni Amara
“Okay.. But eat first.” Tugon ni Lance na naging abala sa paglalagay ng pagkain sa pinggan ni Amara
Napanganga naman ang tatlong Lobo na nakasaksi sa pangyayaring ito.

“You should eat too.. Here.. Say ahh.” Saad ni Amara saka sinubuan si Lance ng pagkain
The two look like a lovey-dovey couple.
Gusto nang maiyak ng tatlong saksi.
“Master! You’re broken hearted.. But why this kid? Please no!!” sa isip ni LoneWolf
“Master there’s a lot of beautiful women who wants to marry you! Gods! Why?! Just why?!” sa isip ni BloodWolf
“Boss, he’s pretty.. But you cant be like this! He’s a…. dude!” Sa isip ni StarWolf
“By the way, how is your body?” tanong ni Amara
“Still the same.” Lance
“Have you found the Phoenix Eye Herb?” Amara
Umiling ang binata.
“I will stay with you tonight. Damnable’s flame is not as effective as the actual antidote, but it can help you.” Saad ni Amara
“Master please say no!!!” sa isip ng tatlo
Tumango si Lance..
Sa pagkakataong ito.. Naiumpog ng tatlo ang sarili nila dahil sa sobrang frustration.
