Chapter 31: Submitting the Names and Mad-Eye Moody's Lesson
They're now submitting their names in the goblet.
I turned to Cedric. "Go, Cedric!" I said.
He smiled. "Alright, Y/N." He said then walked to the goblet.
He took a deep breath then put it in.
We all clapped. Cedric turned to me then gave me a hug.
I patted his back. He stepped back then went to his friends.
I soon saw Harry and Ron. "Hello, Harry, Ron!" I greeted happily.
"Y/N!" They said then hugged me.
"Geez. You both need a haircut." I said.
Then look who entered: Fred and George!
"Fred! George!" I said then hugged the tall twins.
"Hello, Y/N,"
"Good to see ya."
The students clapped as soon as Fred and George approach them. "Well, lads. We've done it!"
"Cooked it up just this morning!" Fred and George said.
"It's not going to work~" Hermione said.
Fred and George went to her side. "Oh yeah?"
"And why's that, Granger?"
Hermione pointed at the age line. "See this, this is an age line. Dumbledore drew it himself." Hermione said.
"So?"
Hermione scoffed. "So, a genius like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled by something pathetically dim- witted like an aging potion." Hermione said.
"That's why it's so brilliant," one of the twins spoke.
"Because it's so pathetically dim-witted."
They both backed away from Hermione then stood. "Ready, Fred?" George asked.
"Ready, George," Fred said.
"Bottoms up!" They said then drank the potion.
They hopped into the age line.
The students all clapped when Fred and George's potion is a "success."
Then after they submit their names, the blue flame pushed them outside the age line.
Hermione's right. A genius like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled.
We all laughed when both twins grew a white beard.
"You said!"
"You said!" Then they both tackled each other on the floor.
"Fight, fight, fight, fight," Ron-together with all the students- chanted.
Hermione sighed then opened a book, starting to read.
I sat beside her. "Idiots. But they did their best."
She nodded. "I know."
Then there was an awkward silence.
What's up?
We all turned to see who entered.
Not so surprisingly, it's Viktor Krum.
Of course.
I watched Hermione eye him as he made his way to the goblet to submit his name.
After that, he glanced at Hermione then made his leave.
I turned to Hermione with a smirk. "Okay. I saw you two. What was that?"
Hermione (still with a silly smile on her face and slightly red cheeks) spoke, "I don't know what your possibly talking about, Y/N."

"Alastor Moody. Ex- Auror, ministry malcontent, and your new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. I'm here because Dumbledore asked me. End of story. Goodbye. The end." Professor Moody...introduced.
What an introduction.
"Any questions?" He asked us.
We all stared at him. "When it comes to the dark arts, I believe in a practical approach. But first, which of you can tell me how many unforgivable curses there are?" Professor Moody asked.
"Three, sir." Hermione said.
"And they are so named?"
"Because they're unforgivable. If you used any one of them-"
"You will earn a one-way ticket to Azkaban, correct? Now, the minister says you're too young to see what this curses do," he said. "I say different! You need to know what they're up against! You need to be prepared- you need to find another place to put your chewing gum besides the other side of your desk, Mr. Finnigan!" Professor Moody exclaimed, grabbing the attention of Seamus.
"Disgusting, Seamus." I mumbled.
We all turned to Seamus. "Oh boy, the old codger can see at the back of his head." He muttered.
Moody turned then threw the chalk at Seamus. "And hear across classrooms! So, which curse shall we see first? Weasley," Moody called, making Ron turned to look at him.
"Yes?"
"Stand." Moody ordered.
Ron stood. "Give us a curse." Moody said.
"Well...my dad told me about one. The Imperius Curse." Ron said.
"Oh yeah. Your father would know all about that." He said then brought out a spider from a jar.
I shivered. "Merlin help me."
"Engorgio!" Moody said then the spider grew big.
I turned to look at Ron, who is now whimpering.
Poor guy.
"Imperio!" Moody said then the spider went to Seamus and Neville then to Crabbe.
I chuckled. "Crabbe, I didn't know you're scared of spiders." I said.
"Shut up, Y/N." He said.
Then the spider went above Ron's head, making Moody laugh.
He is clearly enjoying this.
Draco laughed. "I didn't know Weaselbee's terrified of spiders!"
Moody turned to Draco. "What are you laughing at?"
Then the spider is on his face.
Draco's eyes widened. "G-get i-it of me-e!"
Moody continued laughing. "Talented, isn't she? What will I ever do next? Throw her at the window?"
We all watched the spider land on the window.
"Drown herself?" Moody continued.
"Witch and witches claimed that they only did You-Know-Who's bidding under the influence of the Imperius curse, but here's the rub: how do we sort out the liars?" Moody asked us.
We slowly raised our hand.
"Come on," Moody told Neville. "Longbottom, isn't it? Professor Sprout tells me that you have an aptitude for Herbology."
"I-i-it's the Cruciatus curse." Neville stuttered.
"Correct! Correct! Come!"
Neville stepped closer, and is now facing the spider.
"Crucio!"
The spider began to make some noise, making me uncomfortable.
Draco held my shoulder. "Y/N-"
"STOP IT!" I told Moody, catching everyone's attention. "Can't you see it's bothering him?! STOP IT!"
Moody stopped then cleared his throat.
He walked towards me then placed the spider on my desk.
"Perhaps you could give us the last unforgivable curse, Ms. Rosecharm." He said.
I quickly shook my head. "No."
Moody pointed his wand at the spider.
"Avada Kedavra!"
Then the spider is dead.
"The Killing curse, only one person is known to survive this," Moody turned to Harry. "And he is sitting in this room."
