Back Home Jade lays Ruby down on the couch and takes his Necklace off Ruby. Pyrrha quickly went and put clothes on the girl.
He takes off his mask and tossed it on the table.
Pyrrha: so what happened out there?
Jade: she swung really low and broke her face on a lamppost.
Pyrrha: she, what?!
Pyrrha peeked her head from around the corner of the kitchen.
Jade: it was a figure of speech. But she did crash and break a lamppost.
Pyrrha comes from the around the corner wearing an apron. She was also wearing a black sweater and black jeans he almost fainted but stopped himself.
Jade: you look like a housewife right now.
Pyrrha blushes a bit and didn't know what to say.
Pyrrha: well, since Lily isn't here, I just thought I would cook...
Jade: you look great.
he smiles at her making her blush a bit more.
He walked over to an empty section of the wall and it opened it to reveal multiple spider suits and a lot of stuff Jade's worked on.
It was a mostly dark room except for the light given off by the lights by the spider suits.
He walked over to an empty one and opened it throwing all the armor he was wearing in there.
Jade: I forgot how comfortable these boots are!
Pyrrha walked in and looked at the seven suits.
Pyrrha: what are these?
Jade: in order, it's the big time suit, Stark suit, stealth suit, upgraded suit, spider armor mark three, the electro-proof suit and, this iron spider.
He was now in a black T-shirt with normal black paints and walked out of his lab. The wall closing behind him.
Ruby wakes up and holds her head. Jade reached into his utility belt and pulled out headache medication and tossed it to Ruby. She makes a perfect catch and looked at it.
Jade: I'll get you some water.
He and Pyrrha walk to the kitchen.
Pyrrha: why don't you wear anything of them anymore?
Jade was looking for a cup until he stopped and turned to Pyrrha.
Jade: well, because I have no need. Most either got outclassed by my iron spider or the reason got replaced. The big time suit was used for invisibility until I learned that I can just go invisible. So I made the Stealth suit which was just armor on top of a basic design. The electro suit gets rid of my electric power so that's a no go-
They both hear some glass break and rushed to the living room only to see nothing.
Mina: your lab...
Jade: aw, what the fuck...
The wall opened up and he dashed inside to see Ruby with a dead spider on the ground next to her.
Jade: oh no.
He goes over and picked her up quickly putting her on the couch.
He paced in front of her.
Pyrrha: what happened?
Jade: did that spider bite you?
Ruby: what?
Jade: did! It! Bite! You!
He stopped standing in front of her.
Ruby: yeah. After a tripped on a web grenade a fell and knocked over the container. It bit me on the back of my neck.
Jade goes over and crouched in front of her grabbing her hand.
Jade: be thankful that you are my sister. Because that spider kills anyone that it bites that isn't related to summer. There's still the chance you will die though.
Her eyes shot open as Pyrrha checked the spider bite.
Jade: but!
Pyrrha: what kind of spider was that?
Jade: the kind that turned me into what I am today.
Both of them were frozen in shock.
Ruby: ....so... the spider that turned you into Spider-Man just bit me...
Jade slowly shakes his head.
Jade: the side effects should be kicking in any second...
Ruby: wait what?

The next day Ruby was in the guest and hasn't woken up from collapsing yesterday. Mina has been telling Jade and Pyrrha that she's all right the entire time.
For now, they were in the room standing by the door.
Mina: I told you, she'll be fine!
Jade was standing in his iron spider with his mask down.
Pyrrha: it's all fine right? The A.I said so?
She sounds uncertain as she had her hands clasped together.
Jade: she looks fine and the fever she had went down. She looks to just be sleep. Let's just come back later, Mina will alert me if anything is happening. She can also take control of one of Lily's suits in the other room.
Mina: you make it sound like I'm a certified medic.
Jade: your an A.I don't pretend.
He crossed his arms.
Jade: I gotta change my clothes so I'll be with you in just a moment.

A few hours later It was night. jade and Pyrrha were just outside of his house.
Pyrrha: are you sure we should've beat those guys up?
Jade: they were causing a public disturbance and I seen them yelling at some fanus. They deserved it.
He opened the door to see Ruby sitting on the couch. She was surrounded by foods of all types as they all just stare at each other.
Ruby: I think this is the most food I've ever eaten in my life... I'm still hungry.
They run over and dive at her with a hug.
Jade: we thought you died!
Pyrrha: well, he thought you died but I believed you made it!
Ruby was awkwardly giving them a hug back as she was completely confused as to why they were hugging her.
They all get up and Jade realized that she suddenly got taller. She was at least 5'5 now.
Jade: oh no. uh, Ruby, arm wrestle me.
Ruby: what? No! I'll lose!
Jade: just do it. It's for an experiment.
He quickly cleared a table by sweeping everything on the floor and threw down his elbow.
Jade: come on over little sis.
It didn't help her confidence that he was wearing a short sleeve. Ruby cautiously walked over and got into position.
Jade: Pyrrha can be the ref.
Pyrrha: hm? Oh yeah!
They all get into Position and Ruby was sweating slightly so Mina turned on the central air.
Pyrrha: go!
Ruby used all her strength and tossed Jade across the room breaking a mirror.
Jade: ow, I'm good...
Pyrrha rushes over.
Pyrrha: the glass shard in your side says otherwise!
After bandaging up Jade they had a few more test and it turns out Ruby has all the same powers as Jade.
Now in the living room Sits everyone was sorta happy.
Jade: I mean, I might as well give you web-shooters. I'll give you my suit too.
Ruby: what?
Jade: I've been working on a new one! The tournament is in two days. I'll be training in the ways of the spider all of tomorrow so prepare yourself.
Ruby: if I say no?
Jade: then you'll probably cut someone in half using the full strength.
Ruby eyes widened.
Ruby: yeah, I'll take those lessons...
He takes of his necklace and tosses it to her. She catches it easily and put it on.
Pyrrha: oh, I have to go and grab something from your room. I'll be back in a second.
She gets up and heads upstairs. She entered Jade's room and picked up her scroll and put it away. She heads back downstairs and freezes once she sees Jade and Ruby talking to each other on the ceiling.
Pyrrha: hm, this is gonna be really weird to explain to everyone...
