It was 7:30 and Liah still wasn't up yet. So I went down the hall to her room. I opened the door seeing Liah and Jahseh sleeping.

I smirked lightly "Goals as fuck" I closed the door and walked back downstairs.

I walked to first period seeing everybody was already in there.
"Hey Ayleks, Where Liah?"Billie asked
"She's slept in"I said
"Why didn't you wake her up?"Bella asked
"I didn't want to wake her and Jahseh"
Ling gasped "They're back together?"
"I don't think so...but from the looks of it, they will be soon"I said
Liah pov
My eyes fluttered open, seeing the day light. I looked up seeing Jahseh sleeping peacefully. I can't even lie and say that I don't miss him...cause I do. I hope our talk we had helps he stop self harming because that's not gonna help anything. I grabbed my phone, which was under the cover. It was 10:12
"Shit"I mumbled
I slowly tried to get out of his hold but his arm tightened around me. "Where you going?"he asked, his voice was soft but raspy at the same time
"It's 10:12...were late"I said
"It's no point in going then"He mumbled
"I still wanna get up"I tried to move but he held me close
"No...lets just stay here"His eyes were still closed
"You wanna lay in the bed all day?"I asked
"Yeah...this is the closest we've been in 2 weeks"
I chuckled "you act like that's a long time"
"2 weeks without you feels like 2 years"he mumbled
I smiled lightly "I missed you too Jah"
"You did?"
"Yeah, a lot actually"I said looking up at him
He grabbed my chin and gave me a serious look "I love you more than anything...don't forget that"
I don't know what came over me but I crashed my lips onto his and crawled all the way on him. He gripped my waist, our lips stayed together as he carefully flipped us over and got between my legs. He quickly took off his shirt and smirked.
He gave me two more lingering kisses before removing my shirt. He then started to suck on my neck roughly.
"Does this means we're back together?"He mumbled kissing on my neck
I frowned"No Jahseh"
He groaned loudly getting off of me "Why the fuck are you leading me on then?"
"I don't know"I mumbled
"Don't lead me on Liah...if you don't wanna get back together just fucking say it"He mumbled putting on his shirt
"I do...just not right now"
"When?"He asked flaring up his nose
"I'm not sure...yet"
He scoffed shaking his head "Well since you don't know...I guess I'll just go"
"Jahseh-"
"Where my phone at?"He asked looking under the covers
"Jahseh you don't have to go..."
"Nah, Imma go home cause you-"
Before he could finish his sentence, my phone lit up. He looked at it and clenched his jaw "Are you fucking serious Li?"
I gave him a confused look before grabbing my phone
"I understand that you're upset about what happened in Chicago but...Nahmir? Really?!"He yelled
"Jah, it's not like that-"
He grabbed his hoodie and quickly put it on.
"Fuck, where is my phone?!"He said a bit loud
I rubbed my temple "Jahseh, this is exactly what I'm talking about...can you please let me explain?"
He sighed deeply before staring at me.
"Nahmir texted me last night and said he's going back to Chicago next week...so we're just hanging out before he leaves"
"That's it?"
"That's it Jah"I assured
He sat back on the bed and put his head in his hands "You're right, we can't be together right now..I'm way too toxic for you"
"Jahseh you're not toxic"
" I am...and I don't want any stress on you cause I know it's not good for the baby so I guess we can think about getting back together after the baby is born"He mumbled
He had his hands halfway through his dreads. I moved closer to him and wrapped my arms around him "I love you Jahseh"
(I don't know if y'all can imagine that but he's sitting on the edge of the bed, so Liah's hugging him from behind....if that make sense🤦🏾♀️)

As I was on my way to my car I heard Trippie calling my name. I sighed turning around.
"What?"
"You can't keep ignoring me like this"
"I actually can"I replied
"So you really don't want anything to do with me anymore?"He asked
"No, now can you leave me alone?"
"Ok fine. You want me outta your life...then so be it"He said before walking away
I rolled my eyes before getting in my car. I put my book bag in the passenger seat.
As I was driving I grabbed my phone and called my cousin.
"Yoo"he answered
"I wanna drop the song tonight"I said
"You sure?"
"Yeah"
"Bet...what time?"He asked
"Around 10"
"Okay, I gotchu"
Jahseh pov
3:50 pm
Even though I was suppose to leave this morning. I stayed here and went back to sleep with Liah. We were watching some show called "Euphoria" but she fell asleep.
I think I need to go to Therapy.My anger is what led my dumb ass into getting drugged. I hate the way I push away Liah when I get angry. I need to get better for her and our child.
I slowly got out the bed, she moved a little laying on her back, but she went back to sleep.
"I'll get better LiLi" I placed my hand on her stomach "For the both of you"
I pulled the blanket up to her neck. I ran my thumb across her cheek before walking out the room
Liah pov
I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I didn't even looked to see who it was I just answered it.
"Hello"
"Yo..I been outside for about 10 minutes"Nahmir said
"Shit..I'm sorry I fell asleep, Um do you wanna come in until I get ready?"I asked
"Nah I'm good...I'll just wait on you"
"Okay, I'll be down in a min"I ended the call
I sighed seeing the empty spot next to me. After seeing Jahseh's cuts last night, I have this eager feeling...like I need to help him.
"Liah?"Ayleks said coming in my room
"Wassup Ayleks"
"What time did Jahseh leave?"She asked
"I'm not sure...he left when I fell asleep"I shrugged getting up
"Are y'all back together?"
"No"
"Then why did he spend the night?"
"Cause...he said he didn't want to sleep alone"I sighed walking towards my dresser
"Oh"She walked closer to me "You okay Liah? You look bothered"
"That's because I am"
"What's bothering you?"She asked
I turned around and putting my head down "Jahseh's been self harming"
She gasped lightly "Are you serious?"
I nodded "Yeah... I saw the scars last night"
She sighed "damn..."
"He told me that...he thinks it's a good idea if we stay separated until after the baby is born"
"Do you agree?"
"I guess so...look I gotta get ready Nahmir's been waiting on me"
Nahmir pov
About 30 minutes later Liah came walking out the house.
"Hey Liah"I smiled as she got in
"Hey Mir"she gave me a side hug
"How've you been?"I asked
"I have my days but I'm okay"She sighed
"You wanna talk about it?"I asked
"No"She replied quickly
I nodded and cranked up the car
