"Come on Hermione get up!" Ginny mostly yelled while throwing a pillow at her head. Hermione sat up to glare at the girl, who just continued walking around her room getting ready. Gronning she finally got and the got ready quickly and started down the stairs tired.
Mrs. Weasley was in the kitchen and getting everything ready that wasn't already done the night before. "Hermione dear...there's some toast on the counter help yourself."
Hermine smiled at the woman and grabbed a piece of toast and started eating when more hurried footsteps were heard. Most of the Weasley family was down except for two people. Hermione finished her food when Molly stopped her again.
"Hermione. Do you mind making sure those two boys are up? If they aren't they are going to miss breakfast."
Hermione nodded and walked back up the stairs to Ron's room where he and Harry were sharing. She walked in and saw the two asleep, smirking she walked over to Ron and started whispering loudly, where-in his tired stated would hear clearly. "Weasley..." she waited until he moved a bit, "there's a spider on your arm..."
"WHERE!" Ron jumped out of bed waving her arm up and down scared. Harry jumped out of bed too startled at the noise.
"What's wrong?" Harry questioned as Ron stopped waving his arms in the air like a maniac. Realizing that Hermione was there they stopped and looked at her.
"Was that necessary?" Ron questioned her and she smirked.
"Molly said if you don't get up you miss breakfast...you better get ready quickly before she decides to murder you two for being late," Hermione turned and walked out back to Ginny's room to make sure everything was packed and ready to go.
"I'm so prepared for this game! I'm positive Ireland will win!" Ginny was talking to Hermione while the two girls carry their smaller bags with them. Hermione didn't care for the conversation, but for her friend's sake, she tries to like it.
"You're voting for Ireland I assume?"
"OF COURSE! Best team of the year if I say so myself!" Ginny happily explained then Fred and George appeared behind them.
"I do agree with you dear sister but I wager..."
"That while Ireland wins the seeker of Bulgaria will finish up the game," George finished.
"Hmm...I take you on that bet. What are we wagering?" Ginny questioned.
"The dishes for the rest of the summer."
"Mum's always hassling about doing that."
Ginny smirked, "Fine. Hermione and I will take this wager!"
Hermione glared at the girl, "Wait why are you dragging me with you?"
Ginny ignored her as Ron and Harry caught up with the group with Aurthur, Bill, Charle, and Percy trail right behind them.
"Alright, everyone! Just up the hill is the other two we are meeting!" Arthur yelled making sure everyone started moving. After the small hike up the large hill, they saw two people waiting with a large boot laying on the ground. Everyone approached them and smiled, Hermione forcing more of a half pained smile. Ginny punched her at her horrible attempt at a smile.
"AMOS! How are you this morning?" Arthur excitedly asked the big large man.
"I'm well Arthur. Just a little tired from work yesterday. Ms. Kettley gave our department extra paperwork since most of the department is off for the game. Stayed up most of the night!" the man smiled lightly.
"That's Ms. Kettley for you. Never a moment of peace..." Arthur whispered and Hermione watched as under Arthur's breath he seemed to mutter something along the line of, "hag..."
"Alright let me introduce you two!" Arthur smiled before gesturing to the two, "This is one of my co-workers at the ministry, Amos Diggory and his son Cedric, a SEVENTH year if I heard correctly!"
"Yes, and what a fine young man he is," Amos happily spoke about his son.
"Oh and this is my family," Arthur start pointing to each one of his children, "Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, Ron, Ginny, along with their two friends Harry Potter and Hermione Granger!"
Amos quickly shook everyone's hand and stopped at Harry and Hermione. "Harry Potter it's so wonderful to meet you! And Ms. Granger from what I hear even the older student knows of how brilliant student you are!"
"Thank you, sir..." Harry and Hermione whispered and soon the man backed up to his boy. Ginny smirked while looking at Cedric and Hermione couldn't help but be curious why. So as the boys were talking Hermione walked to where Ginny was standing a bit away from the group.
"Hey what's got you smirking so much?"
"He's hot," Ginny gestured to Cedric with her head and Hermione's eyes widened.
"What?" Hermione was confused.
"Have you never looked at someone and just thought they were hot?"
"Err...no..."
"Are you serious?! I swear Hermione you've lived under a rock. Is there NO ONE you just looked at and appreciated their looks.
Hermione tried to look back at Cedric and see what she was talking about. She did notice he had nice hair, a soft face, and kind eyes, but overall nothing was like making her to happy she just felt normal as she looked at the boy.
"Sorry, Ginny I guess I just don't understand..." Hermione shrugged and they heard Aruther yell.
"Hermione, Ginny come here it's about time to go!"
Hermione and Ginny joined the group and saw that everyone had at least a finger on the boot. Ginny already put her finger on and Hermoine joined.
"Alright on the count of three...one...two...three..." The world seemed to spin as they were flown off the ground which Hermione didn't like one bit. But as soon as it started everyone started to let go. Eyes wide Hermione followed suit and fell on the ground on her back. She groaned as harry landed like her. The others just walked down from the sky and landed on their feet.
Cedric walked up to her, "You alright?" He offered her help up and she accepted.
"I'm so not used to...that?"
"Portkey...it's not a very common way of traveling, but for longer distances, it's the best way," Cedric explain and Hermione couldn't help but listen after all it was new information.
"Interesting I wonder if there could be a way to make it less...nauseating."
Cedric smiled at her and Harry got up. "Wish I was warned about the landing," he muttered and Hermione smirked.
"You and me both."
"Well, we're here. See you around Granger...Potter," Cedric said and walked back to his dad who was waiting.
The rest of the Weasley's walked to where Harry and Hermione were. "Okay, our tent is in section K and number 356." Arthur leads them through everyone and the sights were interesting, but most was just people trying to sell their small merchandise for the game.
"AH! Here we are, everyone, in!" Arthur held open the small tent opening. It looked so small to be able to fit everyone, but she followed and to her surprise, it was a large as a house.
"Alright, the two girls have the right side of the tent and the boys well make room for everyone. We have about four hours til the game, have fun!" Arthur finished and Hermione found her bunk under Ginnys. She decided to lay there until it was time to go.
As promised four hours later Hermione found herself stories above the ground in the stadium. To say she was not happy would be an understatement, but seeing everyone else enjoying themselves as they bought souvenirs from people, she bared with it.
They got to their seats when everyone heard a voice, "Well well well...looks who's here...I wonder how much the Weasley's had to sell to even get here and this high up, too. Must have been everything you had or did you leach off of Potter." Draco Malfoy was walking down the stairs with two adults that were caught up in conversation with the minister.
Harry and Ron growled and the other Weasley looked up surprised, while Hermione rolled her eyes. Of course, Malfoy would be here just to taunt them. Whatever Malfoy said didn't bother her because she knows he's just trying to get under their skin for a reaction, like a normal bully.
"Still the usual insults Malfoy you would think you could come up with something original. I suppose there is a reason you're only second place after in school," Hermione talked calmly folding her arms looking at him blankly.
It was Malfoys turn to growl, but before he could retaliate Lucius Malfoy, followed by whom Hermione realized was Draco's mother, Narcissa Malfoy went up and put his cane on Draco's shoulder making him stiffen a little and stand straighter.
"Now now Draco behave yourself," he said loudly then looked at the group before them. Draco got the message and back up to stand with his mother. Hermione looked at Draco's mother and couldn't help but think she's pretty. Her blonde hair was bright even, her blue eyes stood out on her pale face, and she stood tall and proud, Hermione thought she gave off an air of confidence and the same time everyone around her was beneath her.
When Hermione finally started listening in on the conversation and it seemed like Arthur and Lucius were about to fight, like back in her second year.
Hermione spoke up, "I do believe the game is about to begin. I would be a shame to miss the excitement over some petty insults. Please have a good day Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy."
She pretty much dismissed them and to their faces, they were not expecting that and they huffed away arms folded in Draco's case and noses in the air.
"Brilliant Hermoin!" Fred grinned, "Their faces were priceless."
"And we should get to our seats. She was right it's about to start!" George grinned and everyone took their seats looking into binoculars to see as the player came out onto the field.
Hermione watched just to pass the time. The introduction of all the players was exciting and interesting but other than that it was just a game. It wasn't until about two hours then they finally released the snitch, and the search was on. Another two hours passed before like what Fred and George bet. Victor Krum the seeker of Bulgaria caught the snitch, but Ireland won because of the goals made.
Ginny groaned and threw her head back, while Hermione glared at her for now dragging her into the chores. The twins laughed and patted the two on the back making Hermoine scowl even more at them and Ginny.
By the time they could get out of the stadium the sun was starting to set and they were back at their tent with most of the group talking excitedly. Hermine also was sat down with them as the started mocking Ron about his man-crush on Krum.
Hermione was finally lightening up with them after about an hour of talking when it started making everyone freeze.
