First day of high school is not easy. Definitely not like the movies. Why wasn't anyone singing and breaking into intricate dance choreographies? You were heading to Chemistry, rushing past everyone in the busy hallway.
With your bag half open and a bunch of papers in your arms you tried to go as quickly as possible, but everyone seemed to walk so slow. You looked at your watch to check the time and crashed into someone, causing your papers to scatter all over the floor
"I'm so sorry I didn't see you there" you apologized as you scrambled to pick up all your papers. A cute brown haired boy got on the floor and helped you pick up the papers
"I'm sorry I wasn't looking where I was going either" he apologized back
"You're (y/n) right? You're the schools photographer" he asked, handing you a paper
"That's me" you said, giving him a smile. You both stood up and you noticed how pretty his eyes were
"I-I'm Peter." He introduced himself. He ran his hands through his hair which made it all messy, but he still looked cute
"Thanks for the help Peter" you gathered all your papers and he smiled adorably at you
"Don't worry about it" he put his hands in his pockets, "Your hair looks nice today. I mean it looks nice everyday- not that I'm stalking you or anything-" he stuttered out, causing you to giggle
"I should get going but, I'll see you around" you smiled at him. He smiled back and you continued walking down the hall to your class, now with a dorky smile on your face
