Chapter 16: Harry's a Parselmouth
So long story short, Harry's a parselmouth.
"I heard you speak parseltongue! Snake language!" Ron said.
"I spoke a different language?" Harry asked.
We nodded. "But I didn't realize it. How can I speak a language without knowing I can?" Harry continued.
"I don't know, Harry, but it's like you're egging the snake or something." Hermione said.
"Harry, listen to me. There's a reason the symbol of the Slytherin house is a serpent. Salazar Slytherin was a parselmouth. He could talk to snakes too." I said.
"Exactly! Now everyone is going to think you're his great, great, great, great, grandson or something." Ron said.
"But I'm not!" Harry said. "I...can't be."
"For all we know, you could be." Hermione said.

We were writing when the other kids are glancing at Harry.
Harry looked up then faced them, making them quickly look back down. Even Ginny is acting strange.
Harry faced us. We gave him a small smile.
Harry closed his book then gathered his stuff.
"I'll see you back in the common room." He said, making the three of us stopped writing.
"Harry, are you alright?" I asked.
"I'm fine, Y/N." He said then walked out.
Draco's POV
I watch Y/N stood then faced Weasley and Granger. "I'll be right back." I heard her say then followed Potter.
I scoffed then looked back at my paper.
"She's with Potter again." I said.
"Why can't you just tell her?" Goyle asked.
"Tell what?" I asked, facing Goyle.
"That you like her." Crabbe said.
"You what?" I heard Pansy Parkinson say.
I rolled my eyes. "I don't like Y/N." I said.
"Yeah. You love her." Crabbe and Goyle said then chuckled.
Blaise nudged then both. "Shut up, you two." He said then turned to Pansy.
I looked down with a red face. Do I like Y/N?
Y/N's POV
"Harry! Wait up!" I said.
He turned. "Y/N?"
I nodded. "Yeah."
Then he started looking around. "Y/N, did you hear that?"
"Harry, there's no sound." I said.
We started walking. I grabbed Harry's wrist.
"Harry, look!" I said, pointing at the sight of a petrified Nearly headless Nick.
His eyes widened. "Not just that, Y/N." He said, pointing at the petrified Justin.
I gasped. Harry went to Justin.
"Caught in the act." I heard the voice of Mr. Filch said.
We turned. "No- you don't understand!"
But he left.
