People flurried about, ready to start up everything, the hour was coming so quickly. And everyone knew it. Just above pierce was walking towards the entrance of the Head Quarters his eyes focused on the doors as he took long strides to reach them the members of the world security council all together now as they pushed open the doors to meet him. Now was the time, press smiles.
"And how was your flight here? Good I hope?" Pierce smiled as he looked at all the council men, and woman, his eyes trying to read their faces.
"Lovely, the ride from the airport not so much so" the only woman in the council smiled at him as they all began to walk down the hall causing pierce to nod a bit in understanding.
"Ah well....sadly S.H.I.E.L.D cant control everything!" Pierce laughs nervously almost looking at one of the men in the group as he scoffed at him.
"That includes captain America and the youngest Stark, how do you plan on protecting the people from them?" He man sneered almost at pierce as he just smiled a bit, though his eye twitches a bit in what seemed annoyance. Suddenly he brushed over the subject handing out pins for each council member clearing his throat.
"Hm well, these pins will give you unrestricted access, This facility is biometrically controlled" pierce muttered turning on his heel as each member placed the pin on their clothes. "Now if you'd follow me" pierce lead them through the building some more unaware to the events happening not to far from him as he lead the council members to the elevator.

Your eyes stayed focused as you sat on the roof top to one of the buildings you knew from your information that was the security for project insight. Computer in lap your eyes focused on the numbers and letters flashing across the screen as you typed something in causing Steve to look over your shoulder a bit curiously.
"What are you doing?" Steve tilted his head to the side as you glanced at him before humming a bit.
"I'm causing a distraction for you to get in that room what do you think I'm doing?" You wanted to laugh as you kept your voice to a whisper before focusing back on as you watched your screen until heading voices.
"I've been parking there for two months"
"But it's his spot!"
"So? where's he been?"
"I think Afghanistan"
You weren't too interested in the conversation now as you looked back at Steve who seems a bit unimpressed for only a second causing you to sigh, so this was what tony meant by him being a little underwhelming sometimes, he really must have no clue how you did this.
"Tell Sam and Maria they can head in in 30 seconds just gotta do something" you muttered causing Steve to nod slowly pulling away from where he was peering over your side to press a finger to his ear piece gazing at the roof door.
"Clear in 30"
"Copy that"
Steve turned to look back at you as you seemed so engrossed in what you were doing before suddenly pressing a button causing a chorus of ow's to enter what you all could hear of these guys chat.
"Ow! What was that?!"
"Must be the dish I'll check it out"
Finally after the two agents spoke you closed your computer standing up nodding at Steve as he moves close to the door just as you noticed Maria and Sam coming to tag along now.
"Triskelion command request we clear the area for launch" another man's faint voice was heard and you assumed it was from the ear piece before the door opened revealing one of the con tech agents who's eyes widened at what he was seeing.
"Excuse us" Steve pushed him to the side after his hands went instantly up and you couldn't help but stare at him for a moment before stopping.
"Shouldn't we tie him up? Isn't that what they do in the movies? Like James Bond style?" You almost wanted to laugh as you heard Maria sigh and Steve's face to look so confused.
"You watch way to many movies" Sam laughed almost as you followed after him down the stairs.
"Well what else am I supposed to do I'm lucky tony even let me fly out to Washington after my best friend disappear, then again..." you trailed off jokingly almost implying that trouble seemed to follow you lately before silently following behind everyone now leaving a fearful agent behind you all.

" I know the road hasn't exactly been smooth, and some of you would have gladly kicked me out of the car along the way" pierce gathered all the world security council members into his office now pouring glasses of some sort of drink passing them all out as he spoke giving one to each member before he simply picked up his own glass now. "Finally we're here, and the world should be grateful, because lady, and gentlemen we are finally about to achieve peace" pierce smiled as he lifted his glass to a cheer almost until suddenly turning around hearing a familiar voice he didn't want to hear at all.
"Attention, all S.H.I.E.L.D agents. This is Steve Rogers. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days, some of you were even ordered to hunt me down" Steve pauses over the microphone everyone could hear from seeming like he was seeking something as his eyes looked at you from the com room seeing you sitting in the chair at the computer nodding towards him with a warm smile giving him almost the courage to continue. "But I think it's time you know the truth. S.H.I.E.L.D is not what we thought it was, it's been taken over by H.Y.D.R.A, Alexander Pierce is their leader. The S.T.R.I.K.E and Insight crew are H.Y.D.R.A as well. I don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building" Steve pauses again for a breath now causing agents all over the building to glance at one another seeming almost concern, though who was the traitor and who wasn't no one showed their true colors just yet. "They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want: absolute control. They shot Nick Fury and it won't end there. If you launch those Helicarriers today, H.Y.D.R.A will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way, unless we stop them" Steve's speech was reaching people as all agents stared each other down some reaching for their weapons seeming antsy unable to keep still while others kept listening their eyes wide in shock. "I know I'm asking a lot, but the price of freedom is high, it always has been, and it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not" Steve finished his speech and that's when sides were taken in that moment either silently or aloud and you knew one thing, he could give one hell of a speech.
"Did you write that down or make that up on the fly?" The com ended there after Sam said something leaving the council members in silence as they all looked at pierce with wide eyes before one narrowed his eyes at pierce, the same man who asked about what they were going to do with you and Steve.
"You smug son of a bitch!" The man nearly yelled at pierce who just smiled as two agents entered the room. It was a mistake to think they were good, but a mistake the man took. "You two arrest this man!" The council member shouted before his eyes widened as the agents pointed their guns at him causing pierce to sigh placing the glass in his hand down on his desk as he almost smirked.
"Guess I have the floor" he almost seemed smug about it.

You told Steve to go on, you told Sam to go on, you told Maria to go on. Leaving you alone in the com room looking down at the key board, you didn't want to just sit here, even though Steve thought it would be best for you to stay behind anyway. But what if (B/F/N) was around? What if they were keeping her here all this time and you didn't know? This close and yet this far? But what would you do if you got attacked? Your eyes focused on the keyboard to a few more moments before getting up taking guns off the guys you convinced Steve to tie up after they seemed reluctant into taking sides before you rushed out into the main building looking around at the utter chaos seeing people taking sides and you couldn't help but be amazed. Seeing how quickly people wanted to defend their freedom, it was almost amazing but you needed to move or you'd be caught in a fight you don't want to be in.
If you wanted any answers you bet the main control room would be the place to look, hastily you made your way down there taking the stairs and running down before rushing into the control room almost just in time skidding to a stop seeing Brock again, that ass hole! But you kept your mouth shut slightly moving behind a wall with your chest heaving a bit clutching the gun in your hand over hearing the conversation.
"Preempt the launch sequence. Send those ships up now" Brock ordered the agent working at the controls causing you to hold your breath as you turned to look around the corner to watch. The poor guy looked visibly nervous causing Brock's eyes to narrow. "Is there a problem?" Brock almost hissed out to the agent now causing you to focus on him curiously wondering what he'd do. You watched as he took a few deep breaths he was hesitating.
"I'm..." the agent hesitated more words stuck in his throat causing Brock to become visibly impatient as the agent shakes his head hastily.
"I said. Is there a problem?" Brock nearly hissed through his words and you couldn't help but focus on the agent biting your lip in anxiety, would he do what you think he's gonna do? You sure hoped so.
"I'm.....I'm...I'm sorry sir" the agent hesitated again turning his head to Brock with an almost hardened look as he tried to seem confident. "I'm not gonna launch those ships. Captain's orders." The agent finally said causing you to smile as you watched before your smile dropped seeing Brock take out his gun.
"Move away from your station, NOW" Brock shouted, no barked almost to the poor agent who began to shake a bit causing you to hastily make your self known pointing your gun at Brock. You didn't even notice the other agents in the room watching carefully seeming like they were all afraid to do something too.
"HEY!" You shouted suddenly causing Brock to turn his head and stare at you as you bared your teeth a bit in annoyance. "Like he said, captains orders! Back off before I make you!" You shouted at Brock watching the agent next to him eyes widen a bit looking almost bewildered you were even talking and defending his action.
"Oh? And how do you plan to do that?" Brock seemed like he wanted to laugh before suddenly all the agents in the room pointed their guns at him.
"With us sir!" One of the agents in the back shouted causing a chorus of agreements to be heard causing Brock's eyes to widen a bit at how out numbered he just became. You were almost shocked you didn't expect anyone else to be in the room.
"You've all picked the wrong side!" Brock shouted causing you to tighten your grasp on your gun now staring him down as you narrowed your eyes.
"Hate to tell you this but you're the one on the wrong side buddy" you hugged a bit before slightly pulling the trigger. "Drop your gun now!" You shouted walking closer towards him trying to make him back up from the control panel which he was slowly dropping his gun with out a complaint before suddenly pulling a knife out on you cutting your arm in the process causing a yelp to leave you as Brock suddenly reached for the button, you tried to stop him but suddenly had to duck behind the desks as the agents in your side fired at Brock for hurting you. You couldn't stop him and you honestly tried to but you were too late, he reached for the control panel managing to get the Helicarriers to launch suddenly before he ran off ceasing the open fire, oh no oh no oh no!
Hastily you got up helping the other agent down there with you up not caring about the blood leaking from your arm as you looked to the large screen behind you your eyes widening before trying to figure out a way to reach Steve, you felt bad you couldn't look into (B/F/N) right now bit Steve was in danger and you know of the H.Y.D.R.A agents found you they'd pull you away against your will and take you to her, so she had to be safe! You hoped...
"Close the bay door! Close the bay door now! Close the bay door!" Suddenly an agent shouted causing you to turn around your eyes widening as they rushed in trying to warn you all until being shot down by H.Y.D.R.A agents. So they're sending them in now, you shouldn't of let Brock get away! Your eyes widened as you shot at a few backing up as they all started to fire, you had to get out there was no saving this room. You wanted to stay and fight but you did owe Steve a dance and how would tony feel if you suddenly went down like that? Not a chance, you just hoped they could all defend them selves as you dashed out taking the flight of stairs down before having to try and hack into the elevator trying desperately to get ahold of Steve. Who was now worried about you since Maria was sent back to check on you finding you weren't in the surveillance com room and had been watching the monitors.
"S-ste-" your com kept cutting off and Steve was only hearing bits and pieces of you now until finally you fixed it after he shouted your name a few times. "Steve!! They're initiating launch I was just in the control room! Brock he!-" you got cut off a bit by Maria who was watching the whole show down you were just apart of and escaped from finishing up.
"H.Y.D.R.A has control all agents in the control sector are down they're getting them in the air we've gotta take them out now!" Maria shouted into the cons a bit causing you to nod as you got the elevator to take you straight down to the restricted section, where project insight was being kept.
"Oh my god!" You groaned a bit causing Steve to shake his head.
"We're on it, (Y/N) do not come down here" Steve ordered you but like you were gonna listen to that.
"Oh yes I am" You shouted back causing Steve to almost argue until Maria stopped it.
"There's no time to squabble like an old married couple right now get those chips in the helicarriers now!" Maria shouted into the coms just as you entered the restricted section just on the other side of where Sam and Steve were.
"The ceilings are opening make it fast!" You shouted suddenly before you decided to sneak your way in, maybe this wasn't the best decision but it's the only decision you've got, besides what if (B/F/N) is on one of these things?! There's no way you're leaving her behind, and there's no way you were letting Steve on one by himself.
