Laksh was sitting in the balcony with books in his lap but mind elsewhere. Its been a while now and he is been thinking over it again and again. The thought was disturbing him since few months.

Nandini was still waiting for the reply. His whatsapp profile was open on her phone and it showed his last seen at 1:00am. The message was delivered long back but it wasnt read. Her face got a different glow and finally a big precious smile appeared over her face seeing offline turned into online and typinggg.... She couldn't hold her excitement back seeing the word typing. She never knew a simple feature would give her so much happiness all thanks to whatsapp... But it was showing typing since 5 minutes now but no reply
'Was he typing an essay?' She thought to herself. And finally it turned into offline. So the message was seen but not replied.
The same feature which gave her happiness a few minutes back was now hurting her..... She somehow convinced herself that he might be busy afterall being the director of malhotra industries isnt an easy job, it comes with hundreds of responsibilities and its his first step towards it.....

Manik read nandini's message when he just got a minute to breathe and sip his coffee. He was surprised reading the message and slapped his forehead as he totally forgot about what happened in the morning.... He quickly started typing that no it wasn't true what she was thinking and she was getting it all wrong! But before he could finish it his secretary soha came
Soha - sir, raj sir is calling you urgently in the conference room for the meeting!!!
Manik - kaunsi meeting? (Confused)
Soha - sir Mr khanna waali
Manik - ohhh fuck!!!(looking at the time) uske liye toh i m super late
Soha - yes sir
He quickly got up leaving his coffee and phone there itself and ran wearing his blazer on the way. He entered the room and apologized. The meeting started and went on for hours together.

Laksh wanted to desperately talk to his bhai about the mess which was created in his mind as only he was the one who could now bring him peace but his bhai was too busy but he couldnt take that anymore inside him so he decided to take someone's advice. He texted and left for the cafe.

Ragini was getting bored sitting in the house and watching tv. She was continuously switching the channels of tv trying to find something interesting but naah everything seemed very boring.
Ragini - yaar ghar par baithe baithe karu kya????(frustrated) padhai karlu?
Pagal hai kya padhai kaun karta hai! Toh firrrr.... Idea!!! Bandar ko pareshaan karti hoon.... But ek baar dekhleti hoon tv par kuch acha aa raha ho toh!
She once again swiched channels and her all time favorite movie was going on but guess what she skipped it then suddenly her favorite show was also going on but again she was not interested so she switched off the tv and messaged laksh
"Hey Mr. Stalker😎"
But he wasn't online so she ran to talk to nandini and pass her time but nandini was leaving somewhere.
Ragini - di i m getting bored!
Nandini - abhi nahi ragini mujhe bahar jaana hai aakr baat karenge
And she left so again ragini sat before the tv taking a big packet of potato chips and munching them while watching her favorite movie.

Laksh and nandini met at the cafe.
Nandini - so kya hua itne pareshaan kyu ho?
Laksh - woh bhabhi main itne time se iss baare mein soch raha hoon but kuch samajh hi nahi aa raha ke kya karu yaa exactly karu bhi yaa nahi and yeh soch soch kar mera dimaag khraab ho chuka hai
Nandini was hearing him patiently though it seemed like he was talking to himself and finally when he stopped she spoke
Nandini - laksh mujhe kuch nahi samajh aa raha ke tum kya bolna chahte ho
Laksh - woh bhabhi i didnt know aap mujhe samjhogi ke nhi yaa kaise react karogi but i am very confused....
Nandini - about?
Laksh - about choosing law as profession. Matlab its not ke i don't like it or something pehle main bohat excited tha isse lekar and i choose it being confident but now itna padhne ke baad i am feeling no this is not for me. Woh joh passion tha start karte time woh gayaab ho gya hai and ab jab main papa ko aur bhai ko business ki baatein karte dekhta hoon toh mujhe bhi mann karta hai ke main bhi usse conversations kaa hissa banu joh pehle kabhi nahi lagta tha. Ab mujhe aisa lagta hai ke kaash maine yeh choose nahi kiya hota aur main bhi dad ke aur bhai ke saath business mein join hogya toh kitna alag hota. Haa mujhe starting se lawyer banna tha par ab joh main uske liye padh raha hoon toh woh determination aur passion hi missing hai.
Nandini - (calmly) laksh answer one thing honestly! Kya tum lawyer bnna chahte ho?
Silence followed for a few minutes. None of them spoke as laksh wanted time to think though he knew the answer and nandini knew that so she gave him the time he needed. After a brief pause laksh finally spoke
Laksh - (closing his eyes) no!
Nandini - toh fir kyu kar rahe ho?
Laksh - kyuki itne saal padhne ke baad i m realizing this. Everyone in the family knows ke mein law kar raha hoon aur kuch saalo mein lawyer bhi bn jaaunga. Punjab se lekar mumbai tak jitne ghar waale hai sab jaante hai nd agar ab main kahu ke mujhe kuch aur karna hai toh woh kya sochenge ke main ek cheez par tik hi nahi sakta
Nandini - laksh woh log kya sochenge usse farak nahi padta, farak padta hai toh iss baat se ke tum kya sochte ho. Life itni choti nhi hai ke isse dusro ke liye yaa unke kehne par jee jaaye. Life bohat badi hai abhi tumhe aur 40 years kaam karna hai aur abhi toh tum sirf padh rahe ho uske baad. Socho tum 40 saal woh cheez kar paaoge joh tum toh nahi karna chahte par kissi aur ke dabao mein kar liya. 40 years laksh 4 months ki baat nahi hai
Laksh heard her patiently understanding her point.
Nandini - laksh its completely fine and normal toh kya hua agar tumne 3 years yeh padha hai see it this way naa ke abhi aur 2 years baaki hai and you realized it warna kitni baar toh aisa hota hai ki pura padhlene ke baad samajh aata hai.... And trust me padhai kabhi waste nahi hoti tumhe yeh bhi business mein kaam hi aane waala hai.....
Baaki chodo main khud law karni waali thi along with CS kyuki usse joh overall knowledge and salary package milta hai woh bomb hota hai but then after studying i realized ke mujhe sirf kuch years job karna hai for experience and then i will start my own practice so maine woh plan drop kardiya. Maine CS ke saath MBA kaa bhi socha tha like either law or MBA but ab kuch nahi kar rahi hoon. And CS se pehle bhi maine bohat kuch socha graphics, fashion designing etc so thats fine naa hota hai.
Samajh bhi rahe ho yaa lecture sunn kar so gye ( chuckling)
Laksh - (nodded his head smiling) aapko bta hai aap same bhai ki tarah baat karti hoon and i think i made the right choice about talking to you over this matter.
Nandini - i am glad ke tumne mujhse apni problem share ki (geniune smile)
Laksh - thank you
Nandini - tum apne bhai ko bhi thank you bolte agar meri jagah woh hote toh?
Laksh - (confused) nahi
Nandini - toh fir mujhe kyu? Subah yaad hai maine kya kaha tha ke tum bhi mere liye utne hi important Ho jitne manik ke liye.
Laksh - haa aur waise bhi aap aur bhai alag thodi hai... (Winking)
The line made nandini blush and there appeared ragini suddenly glaring nandini.
Ragini - di aapne iss bandar ke liye mujhe chod diya
Laksh - chalo aaj tumhe apni value toh samajh aayi
Ragini - u just shut up
Nandini - tum yaha kaise aayi woh bhi akele?
Ragini - woh main bore ho rahi thi toh socha kuch khane hi aajau
She sat on the chair and ordered something for herself.
All of them then spent some great hours talking chatting and pulling each other's leg.
Nandini reached home and texted laksh
"The decision is still yours but remember one thing choose wisely and for yourself because this one decision can make your life!!! And whatever decision you take everyone will support you😊 Better late than never😉"
Laksh read the message and replied
" Yesss, who won't agree with their bhabhi specially when she is the best😎😋😉"
Nandini - "yes u should😌"
Laksh the saw ragini's message which read hey mr. Stalker he smirked reading and typed back with same smirk
"Looks like someone is missing me😏"
Ragini's phone beeped and she checked it.
" ohh you so wish!😌"
" yess i definitely do😉"
"Flirting with ragini? You've got guts haa!!!😏"

It was 10:00pm when manraj entered the malhotra mansion from their office. Nyonika was waiting at the dining table alongwith laksh for them. They had their dinner along with lots of chit chat.
Manik was unstoppable. He kept on talking and giving every single detail of what he did in office.
After dinner laksh spoke about his decision to manik along with his and nandini's convo
Manik supported him in his decision and promised to talk to raj about it.

Nandini was lost in manik's thought and smiling remembering those beautiful memories of them. Who told ke it takes time to fall in love with someone it can happen so soon. Who can say they just met a few months back and within few meetings decided to share their entire life with each other and now she was hopelessly in love with him.
Manik was too smiling thinking about nandini he wanted to call her at that moment itself and talk to her. He wanted to share every little detail with her of what he did at office, every second but the time stopped him hr even wanted to thank her about guiding his jaan (laksh) and show her how proud he was of having her in his life but again he thought she might be sleeping and didnt want to disturb her.
He fell on the bed and fell asleep in fraction of second as he was tired.
