Two weeks have passed since Taehyung and Lisa returned to Seoul after the honeymoon. Since then, both of them have been preoccupied with busy schedules; BTS are extremely busy preparing for a comeback while still going on concert tours to several countries in Asia, while Blackpink has just held a showcase for their first debut in Japan and were also busy attending fan meetings.
Taehyung was right. In fact, after the honeymoon, they barely met. Taehyung even had to stay in the dorm for a couple of times due to a very busy schedule which required him to stick together with the members.
However, they never once forgot to call or just send a simple message like 'good morning' or 'I'll call you tonight, take care!' to each other.
Kim Taehyung began to get used to her presence and even felt empty when they have to separate. He used to hear her chirpy voice, seeing her cute pouty lips or her cheerful laughter which often made him feel homesick.
Over time, the bonding between them grew stronger, and the mighty Kim Taehyung needs to admit (at least for himself) that he began to miss her, his pretty Lili.
Aww.
"Lili, wake up" Taehyung shook her body slowly, afraid he might startle her.
He had just returned from practice when he found his wife asleep on the couch in a curled position. He felt bad because she must have insisted on waiting for him even though he had told her to sleep first when he called her.
Yya, why are you waiting for me, huh? Look at you, you must be cold, right? Aishh this stubborn girl – he chuckled, but still smiling like a fool while staring at her angelic sleeping face.
"Hey, I'm home"
Lisa stretched her body slowly, opening her eyes once she heard his melodic deep voice in her ear. "Ummh oppa, you're home?"
"Umh," He smiled, tidying her hair which was a bit messy, "... why are you sleeping here, huh? Let's move to the room. Should I carry you there?"
Lisa let a small laugh at his question. Simple yet managed to make her blush. She immediately stood to hide her blushing cheeks, "Gwenchana. I'm awake now"
She smoothed her disheveled hair before following him toward the bedroom. "Have you had dinner? You wanna eat or drink something, oppa?"
"No, thanks Liz. I'm tired, and I only have 2 hours before Sejin oppa picking me up"
"Huh? You'd stay?" She frowned, checking the clock as she remembered that BTS had to leave for USA on the first flight this morning. So she thought he was just stopping by to pick up stuff that might be left behind, not to stay as she'd just heard.
"I thought you'd stay in the dorm?"
"Yeah, I changed my mind 'cos I miss my wife" then he suddenly walked toward her before wrapping his arms around her. He rested his chin onto her shoulder and closed his tired eyes.
Luckily Lisa was getting used to having skinship with him, even though her heart was still pounding like crazy. But at least they're no longer awkward to do so and begin to enjoy their closeness.
"Tch, liar"
"I'm not"
"Really? Let me see your face then" then she made a gap only to cup his cheeks and playfully pinched it, "... aigooo you must be so tired, oh? Let's sleep, I'll wake you up if Sejin oppa come"
"Gwenchana, I can sleep on the plane. It's you who should sleep now, you're tired enough today" He told her, flicking her forehead softly.
Yeah, of course he knows what she did all day, besides their personal manager who always informs, they themselves are now getting used to exchanging news.
"Hehe ahrasso" She grinned before seating herself on the bed while watching her husband taking his stuff on the cabinet.
"Lili, are you really okay if you have to stay alone? You know I'm leaving for a week. You'll be lonely here"
"Gwenchana, I'll ask manager unnie to stay here"
"Seriously?" Now he really focused on her. He walked toward her and knelt before her worriedly, "... I think you better stay in the dorm with your friends or ask eomma to come to accompany you while I'm away. I don't want you to be alone at home"
"Humm, yeh ahrasso oppa"
"Don't skip your meal. Don't stay up late. Don't be too hard on yourself..."
"There you go, oppa. You really sounded like mom" she grunted with a laugh
His laughter faded once he said the last order, "... and don't be too sweet to other men. Remember that you're married, you're mine, oh?"
YOU'RE MINE – she repeated in mind. She wanted to smile widely. It was like she was about to fly to the seventh heaven if only he didn't squeeze her arm lightly and stab her with his sharp gaze only to convince that he was serious about that.
Aigooo, she didn't think Taehyung could be this possessive yet sweet and cheesy though in fact, she likes it though.
"You too.." she finally ventured herself to say the same thing as she caressed his bangs, "... don't be too tired. Don't skip your meal. Don't forget to take vitamins. Sleep as much as you can and ... don't flirt with other girls"
Taehyung smiled ear to ear at the row of her request before flicking her forehead lightly, "Your message is even more than mine, ckckck" he chuckled, ".. but yes maam, I got it! So, can I have my reward for being an obedient husband?"
"Huh? What is it?" she frowned
Taehyung then playfully tapped his cheek as a sign of reward he wants to get, "kiss me"
"Yya!"
"What?" he played innocent
"Why should I kiss you?"
"Wae? Isn't it normal for a married couple to kiss? Yya, what if now I want to kiss your lips?"
Lisa reflexively backed away, shouting "Oppa!" which earning laughter from the husband,
"Yya, you shouldn't reject it yeobo-ah. As a good wife, you must grant every your husband's wish"
"Andwae, oppa andwaeee" she half laughed as she bowed her head away from his intense yet naughty gaze.
"Ah I'm disappointed. I'm not sure I'll be successful in this concert without my wife's support" He stood, playfully teased her by playing a sad expression.
"Oppaa~~ don't do this to me, yyaaa"
Taehyung couldn't refrain from laughing at her embarrassed expression. Jeez, she's unbearably cute like a panda. That's why he always wanted to pinch or bite her cheeks.
"Fine, I won't force you. Ahh maybe I would find another girl to kiss me there"
Damn you, Tae. You really know her weakness.
He was just about to turn around when Lisa suddenly held his arm. She knows it would be so embarrassing. She didn't dare to imagine how his opinion about her after this, but one thing she knew that she wanted him to know that she will do anything to make him happy. She wants to be the wife who always supports him whenever, wherever and however the way it is.
So, for the very first time since they met, Lisa finally ventured herself to kiss her husband at first.

That naughty boy was smiling broadly at the reward he had just gotten even though it was just a quick kiss that landed on his left cheek.
What was that?

Oh no Taehyung, don't overdo it, baby. You're just too happy, ckck.
Realizing she was bowed shyly, Taehyung immediately took the initiative to embrace her. He stroked her head and softly said, "Thank you, Lili. This will be a strength for me"
"Umh, so ppali come back home" She honestly said, wrapping her arms around his waist as she inhaled his body scent.
It was undeniable that he felt warm at her honesty. He smiled before tightening their hug and kissed the top of her head so deep.
"I'll be back soon, dear"

11 pm
It's undeniable that his life has changed. At least that's what he felt in the past few months. Her presence somehow made his stressful days feel good. Taehyung also needs to admit that Lisa has changed his mindset about married life that he thought would be so hard and complex at first.
This may be because they're both young and work in the same industry, so they can easily understand each other. Well, this is the first time Taehyung liked the fact that he already married.
If most of his friends would spend time alone in loneliness after the concert ended, nah, now he has Lisa to share stories. He couldn't wait to go back to the hotel and immediately call her (and if he's lucky enough, they sometimes do video calls), no matter how late it is. He also always took the time to buy gifts for her.
Yeah, I know, it wasn't the first time he bought a gift for women. Hey, it's the casanova Kim Taehyung, ladies and gentlemen. In the past, he almost never missed buying a gift for his favorite noona, only this time... it was different.
"Yya, Taehyung-ah, you sure you wanna buy this kind of stuff for her?"
Park Jimin still can't believe he is now inside a souvenir shop that sells various accessories, dolls and action figures.
After the second day's concert, Taehyung asked his best friends; Jimin, Jin, and Jungkook to accompany him buying gifts for his wife. Chim believes it's not Tae's style to buy something cute like dolls for a girl.
He used to buy jewelry, branded bags or luxurious perfume for Irene, but it seems that his current 'girl' has a unique and different taste from most women in general.
... and based on information from Rose, Lisa always took the time to buy something related to Minion every time they went abroad. Yes, Taehyung also knows that his wife is crazy about that one-eyed yellow figure, since it's not difficult to find Minion in her room.
In the end, he slowly learns whatever she likes and dislikes. He even intends to buy a lot of products in one of the famous cosmetic brand when he found out that she's also a makeup junkie.
But this time he wants to give something cute she likes. Hence he decided to drag his three brothers into a small shop that is now filled with hundreds of Armys waiting for them outside even though it was already midnight. For the umpteenth time, his manager should clean up the mess they made.
"Yya chim, which one you think is better?"
With a big grin on his face, Taehyung ignored his best friend's question instead showed a limited edition of minion figure in his right hand while his left holding a giant doll of Minion.
Jimin could only rub his face in disbelief and laughed. Aigoo now he looks cuter with that cute stuff in his hands. Oh Tae.
"Yya Taehyung-ah, are you serious Lisa likes those stuff? I mean, isn't she looks swag on stage? I thought you'd buy a leather jacket instead of these all" even the oldest joined to tease him.
"You're right" Jimin added
"Seriously she really likes Minion and something cute like pigs or cows.."
"PIGS?!" now they burst in laughter.
"Seriously, you should come to our house then"
"Whoah your wife is daebak!" Jimin raised two thumbs up
"Lisa is like having dual personalities, right? She looks cool and swags on stage while in reality, she's a cutie" Jungkook chuckled
Taehyung let a small laughed and nodded, "Indeed"
Ah if only they knew that Lisa was also a coward and every single night she was always waiting for him to be accompanied to sleep. Aigoo that little kid.
"Hyung, I think it's nice for her" Taehyung was a bit surprised when Jungkook gave a notepad that resembled a Minion's head. Well, it does look cool and unique, so he took it without a doubt.
"Waah gomawo Jungkookie, you have a good taste" he patted the maknae's shoulder. He immediately took it to the cashier with Jimin followed from behind while the other two were looking around.
"You're in love, Tae" Jimin made a statement which automatically made his best friend smile.
Taehyung turned toward him with his lips pressed to prevent his smile getting wider, "How do you know?"
"Aigoo, your face says it all, dude" they chuckled,
"Hmm I don't know, can't be sure. But, I do feel comfortable with her"
Jimin exhaled heavily before patting tae's shoulder, "Like I said, it's not hard to fallin' love with Lisa. She's very kind and lovable"
"Hehe"
Nah, from the way he laughs shyly Jimin could easily know the answer. No need to answer, Tae. Your face has said everything. You're so obvious.
Jimin patted his shoulder one more time, "Nice, glad to know that, bro!"

Meanwhile, thousands of miles away from Newark, Lalisa even falls deeper on her feelings for Taehyung. She could no longer lie to her heart. She didn't want to deny her feelings anymore. She's tired of looking for excuses not to love him.
Because the truth is... she loves him so much, even the universe knew how much she loved him.
From the moment he left, Lisa didn't for a moment stop thinking about him even though she tried hard to busy herself.
But still, she kept checking her phone from time to time, in case her husband sent a message or called her.
Oh she hates this situation. She hates herself who has fallen in love with her own husband, while she knows he likes another girl. She was afraid to be disappointed.
She was even more afraid of losing him, afraid that one day he would leave her for that girl. And for some reason, she felt sad and hurt every time she thinks about it. She hates herself that begins to depend on him.
"Chaeyoung-aaahh..." Lisa naughtily poked her best friend who was playing game with her phone.
"Waee?"
"I really really miss him, why he hasn't called me?"
Rose took the time to glance at Lisa who pouted while pinching her Cony doll like an angry kid. Yes, it's been five days Lisa slept in the dorm and chose to share a bed with her best friend, Park Chaeyoung, who is the only one knows about her true feelings for Taehyung, instead of sleeping in her own room.
"Call him first then"
"Shirro, I'm afraid to disturb him. After all, he was supposed to call me first" Lisa said with an aegyo.
Aigooo Rose could only chuckle hearing those ridiculous reasons. "Tch, then just wait 'till you get old"
"Mean!"
Rose responded by sticking out her tongue before continuing to play the game.
"Park Chaeyoung you're sooo meaaann!!" Lisa was literally screaming before burying her head under that giant doll.
Moments later the room was quiet again as Rose continued to play the game while Lisa returned to busy watching makeup tutorials on youtube. As always, the girls are always immersed in their respective activities outside their group schedule.
The silence suddenly broke when her phone suddenly filled with Taehyung's pic indicating there was a video call. Lisa automatically screamed hysterically as she got up and jumped around.
"It's him, Chae! It's hiiimm!!! AAKK OPPA IS CALLING MEEE!!"
Rose couldn't help but to smile at her overreaction. She shook her head amused and said, "Then answer him, paboyaaa!"
"Oh wait, do I look okay? I mean I'VE REMOVED MY MAKEUP, oohh ottokaeeee..." Lisa was literally running everywhere, "... omo, should I wear a lip tint or just a lip balm? Ahhh my hair, oh my Gosh!!!"
"LALISA MANOBAN!!" Rose snapped her to shut her instantly, "First, your phone will stop ringing if you don't answer immediately. Then secondly, you don't need anything darling, you just have to talk to him and tell him that you miss him. That's all"
"Huh?"
"PPALIII!!"
With heart-pounding, Lisa swiped the video logo upward and seconds later his pretty bare-faced appeared filling her phone screen. She automatically smiled.
"Hey,.." he waved cheerfully, "... you already sleep?" His husky voice filled the room.
She shook her head, still with a big smile on her face, "Not yet"
"Wae?"
Oh, her heart pounded as she saw his worried expression. There you go, Tae!
"Chaeyoung just told me about a man to me"
CRING! Rose was shocked to hear her makeup story. Cih, wasn't she who endlessly talking about her beloved oppa?.
What was that, Lisa? What were you talk about, huh?
Seriously, she scolded herself for choosing such a ridiculous reason. God, she was extremely nervous that she had no idea what to say. Chaeng, I'm sorry – She said silently.
"Yya!!" Rose glared sharply while the girl on the phone just grinning innocently.
"Who? Do I know him?" Taehyung suddenly became curious.
After hearing him ask further, Rose couldn't help but voice out. She walked up to Lisa and made sure her face was caught on camera to talk directly to her brother in law.
"Yya, don't listen to her, Tae oppa. She's lying!"
"Ah really? Waah Jungkookie will be disappointed if it's true" He laughed
"Nooo" Rose waved her hands and three of them were laughing.
Rose was getting panic when she heard Jimin asked Taehyung from behind about the man they meant and Taehyung just shrugged his shoulders, answering "Molla"
"Yyaaa it's not trueee! Lisa just made up story"
Lisa laughed so hard to see her desperately trying to convince the boys. She finally voiced out, "No, no I was lying to you, oppa. I was the one who invites her to talk"
"Talk about what?"
"YOUU!!" Rose reflexively exclaimed, returning her ignorance by telling the truth. Nah, be ready Limario!
"Jeez, did you know oppa that she's been bugging me all the time, asking why you haven't contacted her and what you're doing there. She even thinks you're walking with foreign.. AKKK"
Her words stopped when Lisa suddenly covered her mouth until both of them rolled backward and frantically said, "NOOO!!! Don't listen to her, oppa"
Taehyung just laughed at the umoured of these two besties. "Sorry for bothering you, Chaeyoung-ah"
"Gwenchana oppa, I'm used to it. Lisa is indeed crazy about y-"
"PARK CHAEYOUNG!!"
They laughed like idiots before Lisa endlessly threw some pillows and dolls to her best friend's face.
"You know what I mean, oppa. Please come back soon or else I'll kick her from here"
Taehyung laughed before nodding his head and raised a thumb up, "Yass, I'll be there soon to pick her up. Gomawo Chaeyoung-ah for taking care of my wife"
AWWW he said 'WIFE' instead of 'LISA'.
Lisa feels like flying to the moon while Rose wants to throw up.
That's the effect of being sweet, Tae.
"Gwenchana oppa, nah now please talking to her before she's crying like a baby" she grinned before moving away from the camera and let Lisa comfortably and privately talking to her husband.
She decided to temporary go to Jenny's room while her bestie received the call.
"So, how's the concert?"
Minutes later they exchange stories about each other's activities. Lisa told him about her schedule like dance practices, photoshoots and also music performances.
While Taehyung told her how enthusiastic fans are there and even they're umoured to be in one of Billboard Music Award nominations, but it still can't be ascertained.
One thing is for sure, early next year BTS will do comeback to that superpower country to attend some music festivals, being a guest star of a famous reality show and also do photoshoots.
Lisa was, of course, overwhelmed by the story. Tucked away by the pride of being the wife of a superstar. His story makes her motivated to keep trying hard to practice so that one day she also could feel what he's experiencing right now.
"You better sleep now, it's already late" Taehyung ended their conversation
"What time are you leaving tomorrow?"
"Around 7 am I guess, I don't know" He shrugged his shoulders
"Should I pick you up?"
"No, you shouldn't. Maybe I'll arrive at midnight"
"Okay, I'll see you soon" She slightly smiled, unable to hide her longing
"Heey what's wrong with the face, huh? Do you miss me?"
His soft gaze, gah! How she doesn't melt with his soft gaze?
"Ani" She shook her head cutely
"But I miss you"
AWWW... Lisa was speechless. For the umpteenth time, she was blushing so hard.
"Then ppali comeback home" she muttered, but loud enough to be heard by him
"Sure, I'll be back soon. Just wait for me, okay?"
"Yes oppa"
"Goodnight my dear, should I kiss you?"
"YYA I HEARD YOU, TAE!"
Both of them were burst into laughter when Jimin suddenly came in and shouted.
"Yya, who told you to go in, huh?" Taehyung defended
"I thought you're done. Okay, I'll be out again, jeez" the smallest member of BTS then left the room as chuckled and shook his head.
"Hehe poor chim oppa, he must be sleepy. Oppa ppali send him back" Lisa still laughed,
"Haha okay then, I'll call you tomorrow morning, kay? Night Lisa"
"Okay, goodnight oppa" ... saranghae
Too bad she can't convey the last part though deep inside her heart she really wants to shout it out.
